It's a draper header, designed to flow with the ground, hence the sag. Multiple smaller robot machines would use the same about of raw materials and fuel all the while taking longer to do the job than these big machines. The robotic machines still need a human to monitor them so the no driver point is moot. All farm machines, even the small ones cost a fortune to buy and replace let alone how much robotic stuff would cost. Farmers know what works for them.
