You could tell from the decor hauls you were getting at your other house, that your style was changing. Good for you! It's really a welcome change from the black and white farmhouse that kinda had it's run. This new style has depth, richness, and it's own personality of comfort. Hi Sweet Liz, I'm really looking forward to seeing your new style! I'm with you about not having a rug under the dining table, I removed mine from under my kitchen table months ago...I love it so much better (not to mention it is easier for everyone to pull away and back into the table). As you know, Chris and I saw Santa Barbara last year on our Cali Coastal cruise, and you are right, it is absolutely gorgeous so I know your home will be so, so pretty. He's passed away now but early in his career most of his decor was formal and rather stuffy, in my opinion, but he moved into his own SB style. White duck furnishings, lots of stone and pottery and wood and greenery. Gorgeous rooms. I think you'd like his style very much. Your new home is coming together beautifully.
