They’re both mean machines. I have a ‘21 FA6 in olive. I’m running 28” moto havoks with no lift. It’s a real sweet spot as far as not needing lift or gear reduction while gaining noticeable ground clearance. Power steering and handling relatively unchanged as well. Think I’d choose the deluxe because power steering is nice
Thanks for watching and posting up too! Oh yeah, you've got a perfect setup right there in the middle on those 28" Moto Havoks. I remember hopping on the first ATV Honda released with power steering back in the day, wondering if it would just ruin how it functions with larger tires and our minds were blown when it was like we had done nothing lol. EPS was definitely a game changer! Once you try it, there's no going back and I have always tried to warn my customers over the years that if they don't want to buy it or don't want to regret not buying it, don't ride one with it. That way you never know what you're missing.
I have a 2013 foreman.i really wish honda would make standard a 6th gear (high end),and disk brakes on the rear.Thats all I ask.I do understand the Rubicon package comes with everything I want except a straight axle...
It’s a nice build , I put 27” Zillas on my 2013 rancher 420 Canadian trail edition , a little too much tire so I put a pipe , programmer as k&N amd it did better . However with the big HMF exhaust it buttchugged in deep mud one too many times and burns oil , Now I have to rebuild the top end and flush the case lol .
lol I know it's not funny but it is because we've all been there. Modify one part here and find a weak part there, rinse and repeat lol. That's part of the fun for sure. Thanks for telling me about your Rancher too. Most people around here have no idea about the Canadian Trail Edition model that Honda made. They don't do anything like that down here but we do get some stuff you don't so it's a wash I guess lol.
I see you're doing these reviews now... Is Honda planning on releasing their 2022 model lineup in the next few months like every other year? Or no? I'm getting ready to buy a Rubicon, so just want to make sure. Thanks!
Announcement dates are rather liquid right now and a lot has been moved around because of the rona situation but yes - the plan is to have announced them within the next 60 days. As long as there aren't more delays then you should start to see some 2022 models hit dealers in August-September'ish with some of the ATV models trickling out a bit later in the year.
I love the transmission! Very reliable machine. Never owned one but my brother in law has one. No belt drive like my Polaris 570. They put out a big bore ATV I’m buying it.
Thanks bud, appreciate the support! Naaaah. A lot of people worry about that at first but trust me, sit down for 5 minutes playing with it and you'll have it figured out in no time. Make sure your salesman gives you a proper pre-delivery as that helps too. Well, as long as they know what they're doing lol!
I’m stuck between a kodiak 700 and this. I like the kodiak has a physical shifter to put it in gear but it has a belt and I’m on the edge about this. I don’t like on this one how you put it in gear with the esp buttons but it’s not a belt drive. What do you have to say about them?
Honda and that 2 valve head. Reliable like a small block Chevy same breathing problem as them also. Can we get a 4 valve 520. If you listening 6 speed box 🙏🏼
Excellent video !!! Keep doing vids like these, great explaination of all the features. I just have to buy my Rubicon from you with the 27s---green please.
If you get rid of the back disc brake, and put in a wet multi disc brake like Suzuki, you would the best touring atv , good atv the honda are getting better and better top rated on reliablity.
The rona... It's messed up everything. I've been with Honda for a long time and never seen anything like this. People didn't believe me last year when I said that dealers wouldn't recover their inventory by this summer and sadly it's spot on, it's crazy!
What do you guys think about this Rubicon setup with 27" ITP Mud Lite II Tires and a Warn winch? Or would you rather have the Rubicon with 29.5" tires and a lift kit that we did a video on a few days ago ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8oUOz0lpl0Y.html What would you like to see Honda change on the next generation Rubicon, for 2022 and beyond? Nice machine Kevin. This is the video made me go ahead and decide to get one. Set up just like this camo. Looks like its gonna be a few months production🤷♂️
I'm sorry but I no longer sell Hondas. I recommend you contact the team at Southern Honda Powersports though, they should be able to help you out. Their website is www.SouthernHonda.com
Yours isn't a DCT automatic. It's an automatic but not a DCT. Honda's made multiple different styles of automatic transmissions for their ATVs that function the same on the handlebars but internally are different which can confuse some people.
DCT is technologial master mistake. Mine doesn't work like it should do. Makes faults almoust every time when i drive. -21 520fa. Hopely Honda can find the mystery of this fault.
Ahh, that's no good... That's the only downfall to this technology, when something goes wrong you do have to make sure there are capable techs working on it. Usually it's far more advanced than most techs have dealt with. One way or another though Honda will make sure it's figured out. How many times has it been in the shop? How many miles are on it? It can't be a lot as you said it's a 2021 model year. I'm sorry to hear about your problems though bud, it's never fun buying a new toy and dealing with issues rather than getting to enjoy it.
@@HondaProKevin there is only 26hours but it been done that after 6 hours😤 its been only once on a dealer...but it will go back soon. Dealer is so far away that its not funny if need to take it there many times. I dont think Honda has any glue whats going on with these bikes.... But im am pretty sure its about ECU programming. Because 1,2,3 and 4th gear will "clikc" hard when shifting, but 5th gear goes like butter...like every gears should be. I heard that this morning they got Finland's dealer ECU update from japan🤔 i dont know yet is it true or not...after few days i think i have more information about it.
