Recently I’ve recommitted my life to Christ. Had enough of stumbling over and over. Listening to Christian music only right now and am happy to see this pop up in my RU-vid feed. Great song and no surprise it’s on the same label as Stryper. Bold music shining bright the light of our God in these dark times.

So happy you have stepped into the light! There are so many Christian rock and metal bands going way back to the 80s. Whatever your sound is. If you like Maiden, try Barran Cross. If you like Judas Priest, check out Saint....if your a fan of Ratt, try Whitecross. Listen to King Diamond? Try early Tourniquet. How about Slayer? Vengeance Rising, Die Happy, Living Sacrafice. Death Metal? Mortification. Power/Technical metal, give Impellitteri and Rob Rock a try. So much nu metal too. Post punk? Try Stavesacre, newer Manafest. Like GNR?, give Bride's Snakes in the Playground and Scarecrow Messiah. Just "google" your favorite genre or sub-genre and "Christian bands" Welcome to the Family my friend. Remember, you need to walk this journey with your head more than your heart or Satan will just play cat and mouse, and if you're like me and like some scientific and intellectual reasons to back you up, try out Answers in Genesis.

I don't really know new new bands, but I like Phineas, Demon Hunter, Stavesacre. Project 86 has some newer stuff that is super heavy and the videos are almost down right Scary. Anyhow, thanx for the cool reply. God bless you my friend. Stay strong and keep reading your Bible. I know that sounds cringy or cliché, but it is so important to stay strong. I know this from first hand experience.

@@simbadog8601 Dynazty is the main one , but in recent years he joined Amaranthe and is hugely beneficial to that band. Nils Molin is also in a couple of sideproject bands and randomly features in a few of the more prominent popular symphonic and power metal bands regularly.

As a Christian myself, I wasn't sure what to expect. Christ and Metal have, shall we say, an interesting history whenever they cross paths. More rockers and headbangers are believers that you might think, but the openly satanic songs get all the press. Between that and the theme of the album, I wasn't sure if this was going to be pro- or anti-Christian, assuming it wasn't a Manowar cover. In the end, though, I like it. I don't know where this band lands in terms of faith, but if nothing else, it's a respectful song, and I appreciate that. Looking forward to the rest of the album!

Dude.....I feel ya. I had the same issue! I've been a Christian rocker since the 80s. I gotta tell you, there has been an entire industry of Christian Metal way back. If you were into Judas Priest, there was Saint. You prefer Maiden (Iron), listen to Barren Cross, Slayer? Try Vengeance Rising, King Diamond, listen to Tourniquet. Power Metal? Try listening to Sin Breed, Impellitteri, or Rob Rock. Nu Metal, Metal core, Industrial? Check out Demon Hunter, Project 86, Manafest, Thousand Foot Crutch, Stavesacre.........there is no end to truly excellent musicianship and talent. Just do some internet searching. It's actually pretty easy to find. Try HM Magazine (formerly Heaven's Metal magazine), Metal Cross Radio, Roxx Records, all good resources and most of these guys have been involved in Christian Metal since the beginning. So they all have a pretty good grasp on it all. Blessings!

What a piece of wonder! I love it, it seems like a great piece. The words chosen to condense and express one of the oldest stories there are are beautiful. The music, with the participation of Love Magnusson and Georg Härnsten Egg, provides the super epic touch. I love both the song, the video and the message it conveys. ¡Menuda pedazo de maravilla! Christmas intro and then .... BOOM!!! Exactly like in "Gate of the Gods". Superb intro and then BOOM "We Unite". Nils proves to all out there that nothing is impossible, even if the singing beast called Erik Grönwall needs to be replaced. @@down-the-rabbit-hole It doesn't matter really. It's still a really good song, and I have loved his voice since his debut. I was unaware growing up about "Sneaky Jesus" music. Hell I was a fan of Creed until I found out about it than Skillet. It never waved me away from the bands or the music, I just see it differently than what it actually is. So I haven't heard the full album yet, but I'll take your word for it. Because as your name says, I have been down that rabbit hole far too many times that I can remember.
