As someone that would be hesitant for a $25 DLC, it honestly looks like an additional game within the game. And ESPECIALLY if you can add those features to your island, I think it’s truly worth it

I’m okay with it being $25, it’s practically a whole new game!

You're the only person I've seen mention Celeste at the end - she's the only NPC that didn't get any references made to them/new information/the chance at a permanent spot on Harv's Island, so I'm seriously hoping they're hiding the release of a permanent Celeste observatory/exhibit in the museum (although I know that's 99% not going to happen, but I can still dream!) I'm so excited about all of the content they're adding, can't even choose a favourite new thing, but I'm super excited. And definitely getting the DLC, the sheer amount of new furniture that they showed in the DLC part of the Direct was utterly mad!

I'm ecstatic about everything, will definitely be sinking in at least 2 more obsessive years in this game. Really looking forward to EVERYTHING but I gotta say...I might spend more time cooking than I probably should 😂😂😂

I think 25$ is a good price, especially considering that the dlc is essentially a sequel of happy home designer, but far far superior in my opinion. as someone who was very disappointed in HHD but saw the potential im really happy about what they're doing with it.

I restarted at the right time and when I saw the direct I nearly burst into tears. I am so happy!

A tiny feature that I'm so excited for: accent walls!!!

I think the price ($25) is great for the amount of new items (i stopped the different frames and there are soooo many) and new features of course

Having basically happy home designer built into the main animal crossing game is genius. Happy home designer was an awesome game in the 3DS and was great for filling time when you got bored of the main game, but having this one work within the main ACNH is a brilliant move. I’m not mad at all about it being a paid dlc seen as the original happy home designer was a sperate paid game in the past. I’m sure this huge update and dlc will bring loads of players back to the game who got bored and left, and also get a tonne of new players buying the game for the Christmas hols. Well done `Nintendo. I’m more than impressed with this awesome update.

Ryan is probably one of the better AC players on RU-vid. Doesn’t use clickbait titles, doesn’t stop people from commenting on streams unless they’re subscribed, and is always welcoming and nice. Thanks Ryan.

This entire thing was like one big "but wait, there's more!!" This has definitely revitalized my interest in the game!

this honestly makes me want to cry. i haven't been this excited to play animal crossing since it came out. they did so good with this one

YES! Custom fencing and more bridges and inclines and expanded storage was a lot of what I wanted! And a permanent spot for Redd and others is awesome! I'm so excited. And I always wanted my villagers to visit my home! I was just about to restart my island (for the 3rd time). But I think I'll wait until the update hits to do that. Because I don't think the map layout I want to do will work now.

I was surprised that they weren't moving K.K. Slider into the Roost, but extremely happy with this update. I am going to get the DLC for sure.

They’ve added so much it’s insane 😍 the fact that they added Tortimer as well, really didn’t see that coming! Honestly paying for the DLC doesn’t matter to me cause as everyone else is saying it’s practically a whole new game in a pre-existing one. Wow, I’m shocked! Not only is there so much design stuff, as to be expected, the gameplay has been so widely expanded! I don’t have much time to play the game anymore, but this makes me wish I had all the time in the world to be playing. Well done to the animal Crossing game developers, they smashed it! It's so rare when a game can do a complete 180. I was so done with animal crossing and the lack of updates before this direct and now I feel more hyped for this game than I did at launch

Great video as always, the only problem I have is that I want Jambette to have her normal house, that means I have to collect all her furniture ahead of time and look at reference photos etc. It would be nice if they had a default house option for us slightly less creative types.

Well, when I last played ACNH months ago, I had completely cleared off my entire island. All the buildings are on the beach, the terrain was cleared off, no trees or rivers to speak of, I intentionally left it a blank slate because I was going to remodel everything anyway. And now, with the update and upcoming DLC, I will start playing again and take the new content into consideration with my remodel.

I am curious if doing houses for villagers in the DLC will affect seeing them in the wild but this seems really cool! I used to love Happy home designer

“I have to redo my island” Dude, I just full on started over. I decided it was easier then trying to take everything down. I’m so excited for all the characters coming back. AND THE FROGGY CHAIR The farming aspect is probably going to be my favorite I’ve already set money aside to get the DLC. It actually looks like so much fun. When we were told they were dropping a new trailer, this was definitely not what I was expecting. It was a big, but welcomed, surprise. I’m very excited for both the update and the first DLC.

I hope I can design a vacation home for Rover and see him all the time!

I am loving all the new content. I’m finally getting what I wanted with having villagers visit me for a change..then the chance to travel to other islands looks like so much fun. Overall Im excited for everything. If $25 is going to give me more to do on the island then I will get it. I think it will be worth it.

I haven’t picked up the game for a while because the negativity in the community got to me but right now I’m in the process of flattening my island to rebuild once the update comes out, I couldn’t be more hyped!!!

The best way to sum up this direct is partition walls imo.

The only thing missing is another nook shop upgrade!!! I’m so excited for this update tho 🤩
