This looks like the previous demo version, and the new one has a lot more improvement on the animations, customization and the jumps are bigger :) If you can, I really recommend trying it out! The newest version also has a new arena in the woods, where there is a jumping course.

It's looking really great! the tail though... I think that also needs a bit more improving, it just looks a little odd... as well as like you said the rider looks stiff, But I'm sure those things will improve in good time

It's funny how star stable online is shown as the number one horse game ever but then there are games like this which still need a lot of improvement but have high potential like 🤷‍♀️

To get the hoof pick and brush and other stuff it’s in the bag where you put yourself on the green screen! Also in the other map there is a massive riding area for jumping

You can do lateral movements as well! Like leg yeilds and such! You can check in controls what they are, but for any dressage riders or realistic roleplayers its brilliant

One thing I noticed straight off the bat is that THE CHARACTER IS POSTING FINALLY for some reason it really bothers me when in-game characters strictly sit the trot because I feel like it's not as realistic (at least from what I've seen and done) and so I'm so happy to see they put effort into the animation of posting :)

This game has so much potential! I hope they go through and tweak it until it's amazing! I'm liking what I'm seeing, though!

I saw in somebody else’s video, the new update, there’s first person, untacking, more horses, and even a secret arena in the woods!!

Equestrian 2001 was the ONLY game I ever played with detailed dressage movements like extending, collecting, and even shoulder in/out movements.

Playing this since it was released and I swear it is gonna be one of the best horse games in a long time ♥ There is so much potentional and atm it is a perfect Roleplaying game ♥ I look forward to the future when they will be able to do multiplayer version ♥

i just started playing and you can customize your character and brush the horses too :D i love this game so far

Things you missed / that were added: -A black horse coat! :D -Another bay variation -Character customization (You can customize your character by interacting with the white closet in the room you spawn in) -The arena in the woods! There’s a little path descending from the big main part in the woods. It leads to another arena with higher and harder jumps. And it’s also way bigger! Btw, a little fun fact: the fastest gait you can jump a jump in any of the arena’s without hitting a pole is galopp! I tried for quite a while, but I couldn’t manage to jump in sprint without knocking over all or a few poles. Have fun 😅

You can change your clothes now, if you press f3 you change your camera, x is instant brake, if you press q you go into left lateral and if you press e you go into right lateral and finally if you press p you can move ur camera freely ;) there's probably more and I just don't know about it but yeah

I'm gonna show my age here but this reminds me of the horse game Let's Ride Rosemont Hill Collection. It was a really nice game at the time it was released and this one seems just like that one but obviously with much better technology and graphics.

Beautiful gaits, great for shows, would prefer a game with the horse similar to Argo in Shadow of the Colloseus or Trico in Last Guardian, with lots of personality

Yeah the arm position is quite wrong, too far forward n are needed more tucked into the side bit more n thumb pointed up to sky. But it does look really good. Though idk if better than sso as games shouldn’t Rene compared, as sso has its own style n all that.

5:51-5:54 OMG! The animation of trotting over the poles is real-time! :D The horse adjusts its legs in real-time, so that it actually trots OVER them and doesn't clip THROUGH them like they weren't even here at all. Very impressive! :)

I have a few questions! But this game looks great! Is there western on this game and are there different breeds? I can't tell if any of the horses have face markings or legs markings. And how many coats and breeds (if there are breeds) are there? I'm excited to play this. Yes, it needs a little work but overall it looks pretty complete! Edit: I hope the horses have different personalities that would be really cool and would add the perfect cherry on top. I hope also you can customize your stables, horse's manes and tails, and put a name on your horse's stable door and give it toys! I also hope we can go on trail rides and ride with friends, a pasture where we could lead them out to would be cool escipally if they like played, ran, ate, and interacted with the other horses when they were in the pasture. Just an idea but it would be so cool! I would like if they acted like real horses when we weren't on them cause they remind me of robots a bit. It would be hilarious if they bucked us off and fought with other horses like they do in real life. AlSo can you buy and sell horses? It would be cool if some horses were faster than others, nicer, gentler, batter at jumping than others. It would be cool if some were feisty and didn't like to be around other horses while some were very gentle and loved being in a herd. And if some were better jumpers than others or faster! And maybe some horses are sloppy jumpers. lol I am coming up with a lot of ideas. Can you untack the horses and buy tack for them? A cross country corse would be nice too.

I Abigail! I know it’s very low chances that you will see this but I have a game called Horse Haven- World Of Adventures! It is a cartoon horse game with many features like, dressage, racing, breeding, grooming, feeding, and dressing your horses. There are tones of levels and you can also unlock rare horses or mystical horses! I really hope you see this comment!!! Also to the world I want to shout that today it my Birthday!!!

The game has been updated from this dear people, there are more horses, new jumps and you can untack and tack your horses :)

I just downloaded this game yesterday and noticed there was a huge show jumping arena out in the woods, you should definitley make a part 2 for this game its got a lot of potential

you can rear if you press space and the horse sound different depending on whether it is a mare or a stallion

There is a game called equestrian the game and it has extended and collected, and if you pull on the horse's reins or run into too many jumps, the horse will kick you off, also horses are scared of random bushes or bridges in equestrian the game!

You can change the character if you go to you room and press e. I am not sure how you do it but you can do it.

I think this game is absolutely amazing, one thing though is that there’s only one trail and the forest is slightly boring. The river should have different clothes and you should be able to take the tack off.

i love this game although jumping is pretty hard i enjoy roleplaying. i hope they add breeds and more coat atterns and even more coat colours

The character is actually customizable. If you go into the bedroom you spawn in and you click on the wardrobe behind you you’ll get many customizable features like hair, face, different body types, clothing and more! I haven’t played the game and won’t be able to cause I don’t have a gaming pc or computer so I know this off of watching people play the demo. So far I really like the look of the game though!

I luv this game THE MOVEMENTS REMIND ME SO MUCH OF DRESSAGE especially the collected walk trot lope AMAZING me wanna play but no have laptop ;^;

actually you can change your look just go to the bedroom and interact the drawer and you also can change the to day you go to control settings and you will find in there you also can do lateral(dont know to spell) but you can do lateral trot, walk, canter not sure for gallop

Abigail, when you were saying you couldn't brush the horse, they were in the bottom left corner. It was clean hooves, brush horse and another thing I think

Looks good - what platforms is it on? Do you know what the main objective is? (Breeding /building a farm /competing /mystery to solve ect). May try this one. I've been looking for a new horse game...

the game also has lateral movements! new horses have been added in now. in the (now called) woods, there is also a jumping arena.. there are oxers and verticals. They aren't singles either. There are some singles though:) Ever line has a different amount of strides from the other. Super fun:) Horses can also refuse and knock over poles.. Its a great game, I love it so much Demo is free for everyone

This looks amazing! I’m so exited to maybe play this! I almost cried when you said “a non binary character” as I recently came out as non binary and we don’t get enough representation in games so that’s great! I’m so happy 😄💛

I am also very excited about this game. I tried out the demo as well and had a lot of fun with it. The lateral movements as well are a really nice addition and I love the base of the game so far. Sure, there's room for improvement, but that's how it should be in an alpha state game like this... and it has so much potential already. I really look forward to the progress of this game. My one critique for this video (feel free to disregard, I'm merely a viewer) is your title, specifically "Better Than Star Stable!" As an equestrian myself, I would end up spending more time playing this game or Tales of Rein Ravine, but that doesn't mean that these games are "better." By nature, they are very different games with very different focuses. These games focus more on realism and riding mechanics while SSO focuses on magic, story, and content... though "story" is arguable at this point. In essence, these games are fundamentally different... the only similarity is that they all include horses. As such, these games are constantly compared to each other AND pitted against each other, just as SSO and Alicia Online was, instead of just letting people look at the game as "Cool! Another horse game!" Instead it's competitive. This issue has come up for survival games as well, specifically The Isle and Day of Dragons. The drama piled up to cause competition among ALL creature survival games. Century: Age of Ashes was compared to Day of Dragons as well as Draconia. This caused so much drama between both game developers AND the RU-vidrs involved. The only comment you made about SSO in the video was in the beginning about lighting. Yes, SSO kind of fails in this regard; however, it is important to keep in mind that SSO is running on a very old engine. Since launch in 2011, I do not believe (though I could be wrong) that they upgraded the engine. As such they are very limited in what they CAN do. Granted, they do a lot to compensate and "fake" a lot of special effects such as shadows and reflections, but still there is only so much they can do. This is a fault of SSO for not upgrading, but we also know they're not exactly willing to put in that extra work to transfer to a newer engine anyway. After all, they're working on so much on the old, now lagging engine that transferring the work over would take so much time and players would become incredibly impatient. Anyway, that's my only critique. I play SSO and I love where That Horse Game is going. I look forward to the progress and seeing more of your content on these different horse games.

Omg the DETAILS are incredible. This could be as close as we can get to a red dead horse game! Did you notice the horses even have noticable genders? Most horse games don't have that.

Heyy! I think you are on the earliest version of the game..in the recent updatea they added first person, the abilty to tack up ect ect! Also you can muck out and groom your horses💗

I just downloaded the demo and played for a bit, and I can honestly say the only real complaint I have with it is the camera. I wish it would lock behind the rider when you're riding, because trying to keep the camera centered with the mouse while you're jumping is a bit too much. Other than that, it looks really good. The graphics and horse models are some of the best I've seen, and I like how the horse's jumping height is adjuster to the height of the jump. This will definitely be one I add to my library once it's fully released.

Definitely room for improvement but it looks great so far! Do you happen to know if I ca play this game on a MacBook Air? It is a newer one, I got it last year! Just wondering because I want to check it out for myself!

Horsez or Pippa Funnell games have the collected and extended though… But they are really old games from my age/generation 😂 It’s difficult to get your hands on the very first or original PC games and you need to use a virtual box on your windows 10 unfortunately, unless you have an ancient PC or laptop lol

The neck could definetely be better, also the head like in front of and on vertical... The leg movement and tail aren't the best and the jumping movement needs a bit of improvement but so far so good. The rider - definetely better position! This is like a stiff Rambo pose. Also the leading thing is quite... Buggy? It reminds me of "hřebčín u bílého potoka" idk if this game exists in english but it was my childhiod. Awesome story and easy controlling, check it out if you haven't heard of it

Wow this game looks great! I will say I am a little disappointed in the lag. I downloaded the free demo on my laptop, and even when I turned everything down graphics wise it was still unplayable. I really hope they find a way to make it more accessible to people who lack a powerful gaming computer because it looks so good, and the dressage movements are really lovely

I can’t remember which game it was, but back in like ~2001, a game had extended and collected for the dressage events lol granted, I have 13 years on you soooooo totally different era! Those games have nothing on the new ones!
