Where has the time gone. The boys are big enough to do all that work! WTG boys! There were 7 boys and 1 girl in my family. The girl came in the middle. Needless to say my dad had more help but as second oldest I stepped up to the plate to help my mom more. The beam looks great. Looking forward to the hot tub project. Your braver than me.

Yaaaaaas!! THAT’s what I’ve been waiting for: a Hot Tub. With winter coming and all the hard work and sore muscles, you guys are really going to wish you did this long ago. A shower or hot bath can’t compare to the feeling of a hot tub. It gets down to your bones. Since it’s used, it may not last as long as a new one, but it will be good practice. Someday you’ll get a new one with a long warranty (worth paying extra for an extended warranty bc the AZ hard water tends to mess with the inner workings). Yaaaay hot tub!!

Have you thought about putting some bushes outside around your shed (where the wood pile was)? I feel like it would really polish off the shed and make all the buildings look cohesive.

Hello Hannah, I'm very happy for you that after all the work with the little brick house, I'm sure you'll have a lot of nice moments with the whirlpool when everything is finished. Years ago we also got a used sauna in perfect condition and have never regretted it and have been going to the sauna once a week ever since - always nice. Even during the quarantine (Corona) it was a good thing.

We live in AZ too and our home came with a 6 person hot tub. Sadly we had to get it removed as it never worked properly and even the professionals we called in had no clue as it was hard to date and had no owners manual.

Have you ever tried "Briwax"? It is magical on my wood pieces. I used the Tudor Brown color. It has transformed my antiques and even my new pieces. You always have the cutest projects, I think you'd enjoy the ease of use. The beam is so gorgeous!! 💕💕

Everything looks wonderful. Love the center beam. I was wondering if the Kreig Jig may have been some help in getting the inside screwed together and yet you never see the screws. I am sure Jaylen may have heard of it. The hot tub looks like ours in Cali when we lived there. I always touched it up with stain as with the heat and water overflowing from time to time and getting wet paint would be exposed to water and chemicals from the hot tub. I think in the long run you may be happier with stain, lasting longer. Beautiful updates......love them all. Blessings

Hello, I'm a new subscriber and really enjoy your channel and all that you have accomplished but I need to go back and watch from the beginning. I considered moving to Sierra Vista in the Spring but it wasn't meant to be even though I got AZ license plates while visiting my daughter and son-in-law last Fall. All the modular homes I could see myself in were snatched up so fast I just couldn't make it happen and sell my house at the same time. I'm 78 but feel 55 and can do tons of DIY things, so I love watching you learn and claim things as your own design and build.
