LOL Penny is a great escape artist. She got out of her crate and out into the backyard without ever seeing her do it. 😉

The backyard is awesome and the high ceilings are great too. Instead of mounting the TV on the wall, buy a dresser similar to the one in your bedroom to place it on. It will give you extra storage too. 🧡

Penny is getting so big!! The apartment is beautiful Halie!! The kitchen is actually so cute!! I love the bar stools! The backyard is a good size for Penny!! Most apartments I’ve seen don’t have fenced in backyards so that’s good that you found one for Penny to run around in!

That other place you had was dark and I think this home is bright and sunny and it all plays into a person's mood. This place is more cheerful. I think that you should get the same rug your mom got on tiktok as well. It is spill proof and Penny cannot chew on it. You need a few house plants. Your bf can grow an herb garden on the patio! Halie, for the closet I would recommend clothes hangers that are all uniform. The same brand same style same color. There are these non-slip hangers and it’s like a felt material those work really well so the clothes don’t slip off the hangers they stay nice and secure. Just having all the exact same hangers makes the closet aesthetic look more nice and fancy.

I love how independent Halie is! She doesn’t go to her parents for every meal, neither do Alex and Savannah. But they do see the family a lot. I think Haley is amazing with Penny too.

Halie, for your sentimental, items, I would recommend storing them in a box or a tub or basket of some sort. That way they are kind of hidden away and not scattered out in the open. I think it just helps u to keep all your sentimental items in one concealed/hidden in one place.

Cute apartment and for the kitchen get a small step stool that folds this way you can pull it out when you need it and love the backyard and Penny seems to love it too ❤

Love your apartment and Penny is so cute! Boyfriend did good job filming! I think looks like you have all the essentials I wouldn't worry about decorating, I get the lack of funds! I suggest that you put up shelves in the laundry area, move your miscellaneous things in there and make the entry closet a pantry since it is so close to the kitchen. You can also move your other miscellaneous things that you don't use often to the top shelves in the kitchen that you can't reach. So happy you found a place that you love❣️

I absolutely love this apartment, love it more than your old apt! The high ceiling, laundry with doors, large bedroom, and everything looks so spacious. 🥰 I love the doors on the kitchen cabinets; in your old apt it didn’t seem like it was fully finished without the cabinet/pantry doors. I remember moving in to my own apt for the first time (it was my 2nd apt - first one was shared with in laws 😬), I didn’t have anything…but I slowly bought everything when I needed it or had enough money saved up. I really loved living on my own! 😁🎉

Halie, I love your new place. Penny is like my Gibbs, they both have a lot of energy. Be sure and continue to take her for walks too. She won't get all the exercise that she needs out in the yard.

Haile, u can get glass jars w/ a seal and put your food in jars. The seal helps to keep it fresh when u put the lid on. That’s an option so u don’t have a bunch of food containers and boxes and bags. Everything just looks nicer in jars. Clear glass jars so u can see exactly what u have right when you open the cabinet doors. U can even label the jars if u like.

Your new apartment is so cute and I am sure that you will decorate it so cute. You could take all your little plants and put them across the window sill above your sink. Also, a good tip, when choosing which cabinet you want to put your dishes (plates, bowls, glasses, etc.), close to the dishwasher is a great idea. I keep a lot of my casserole dishes and plastic bowls in a lower cabinet leaving the upper cabinets for food items if you do not have a pantry. I am so PROUD of you for all of your growth! You have grown so much in the last 2 years! Keep on keeping on 🌞🌞

Cute place Haile!! The double closet in the bedroom is great!! You should get a great organizing system for one (clothes only) and use the other for storage. A few command hooks in your entry for coats and stuff would be perfect along with a shoe matt. Really cute place!!

What a great apartment! I keep stuff I don’t use often in those high kitchen cabinets and shelves. Definitely move your food storage containers down where you can reach them. Maybe in a drawer or lower cabinet.

You can adjust the shelves in the kitchen cabinets so you can reach things easier. I have to do it everywhere I move to, still need a step stool for the top shelf.

Since Penny is still having a problem going outside to use the bathroom. I put a bell on my back door and every time my dog wanted to go out or I put her outside we rand the bell, then she just started going to the bell on her own. Also Amazon has like a small patch of grass that dogs can go to the bathroom on since you don’t have grass it might help. Just some thoughts.

I have the same problem trying to reach shelves- You can get a good stool at Walmart or go to Target. They have a nice variety and heights. As for lighting in your Bedroom- you might want to get free standing corner lamps. Too bad there is no lighting on your fan. bummer. Enjoy your new home Halie. :D

You can buy dog crates that look like side tables and half of them are pretty. And don’t mount the tv put it on a nice tv stand. And love the kitchen. Food should be by the fridge plates cups etc should be by the stove and microwave. Get a spice rack that spins. Love the backyard. Ours isn’t gated in which I wish it was and we have three huge pine trees in the backyard so we get wildlife which we love. Linen closet you can put your blankets pillow cases etc laundry detergent toilet paper etc. the reason I say toilet paper in the linen closet is because if a pipe leaks you don’t want your toilet paper to get wet.

Is your mom going to help you decorate this apartment? Or are you going to do it yourself? I'm proud of you for admitting that you couldnt afford a new couch! No shame in that! That's REAL life! I'm proud of how independent & self sufficient you have become!

I always crack up how people say on the crazy pieces channel, how do your kids manage to pay for their apartments and houses when youtube is their income for it. I mean one of the crazy pieces main sources of incomes is youtube and the same applies to the kids. I know a couple of small youtubers personally, smaller their Halie, Ariana, Alex etc and they make a lot more money than one would think. All of that to say please stop asking ok, don't be jealous and be logical that they are accruing money in the same manner that the CP's are making money. Get your head out of the gutter people its 2023, its not about "traditional jobs or traditional education" its about being able to provide for yourself and loved ones adequately, who gives a crap how its achieved

Get your dog microchip if she seem to want to "escape" you never know with a collar she could lose it or something. Also strongly suggest you start some training with her maybe do puppy school training it could help alot with the furniture chewing and the peeing in the house. Its best to start em young and she is a breed who is very intelligent!:)) The Appartment looks soo nice and its soo wonderful that penny gets a yard as well!

lovely apt. i think your kitchen cabinets look fine, unless maybe you want to get bins to put your candy into etc. things on the top shelves would be for items you don't need too much, but you will organize it whatever way works for you. :)

They make dog crates with a desk on top some that look really nice and cute so it can be functional for you and your puppies 😊 also you can get a doggy door! The ones that work with sliding doors and they can also lock and comes with a lock so if your not home and don't want anyone breaking in through the Doggy door! But would be perfect so they don't ever have any accidents inside (: especially if your not there and no one is going to be there to let them out and then it would also look nice to put some plants on top of your cupboards in the kitchen there's alot of extra space up there and it could make it feel more alive and peaceful and homey in there 😊

Loving this apartment! You have a great backyard. Get a hammock and a grill. For your kitchen cabinets remember they are adjustable so don't be afraid to set them up to suit your needs. Like if you have a lot of cans or the water bottles, cereal boxes or other similar sized items, then set up whole shelves that are exactly right for that item. I would have one designated area for taller items even if they are not all the same type of thing...because as an example your cooking oil is gonna leak or get dropped at some point. Make it your overflow or backstock area. Another trick is to buy the small size of things you usually buy in bigger size and keep that small container out in an easy reach area. Refill it from bigger that are stored away in an harder access area. So...the syrup, the cooking oil, your bulk rice and pasta, flour, etc. It can be stored in a harder to reach place because you will make a routine of climbing up there on reset day to refill everything for the week. Likewise your bulk cleaners and gallon of dish soap etc (Costco sizes) can be stored under the sink and then your spray bottles and wipes and small dish soap are easier access. Your bulk storage area might be...the cabinet over your island where the rice is or the cabinet over your stove. Don't put everyday used items out of reach! If you need something every day or all day long put it where you can reach it. Eye level, top drawers, etc. Stuff that is often similar sized to adjust the shelves. 1 Cereal keepers, canisters, crackers, boxed snacks 2 cans, and jars 3 bottles and jugs. Adjust your shelves so the lowest ones are for shorter items and then the taller shelves will still be reachable and store vertically. Lightweight stuff like...cookie sheets and cutting board propped up where you can grab a corner and get it down safely. You have so much storage in a kitchen for one person that you don't need to store things out of reach, in other words don't be afraid to leave taller shelves empty. Another use for the spot above your island (where the rice is) is party and picnic stuff like paper goods and extra dishes, birthday candles, etc. Storage by the stove... Tupperware, foil and bags, spices, flippers and whisks, potholders, pots and pans. Storage by the sink... Drink stuff, cleaning stuff, towels, vitamins and medicines. Storage by the dishwasher... Dishes, cups and glasses, silverware. Drawer and cabinet that is in your living room!!! Junk drawer. Batteries, etc cabinet underneath...tools, light bulbs, candles. And or pet stuff. I see four water options and it seems unnecessary. You have tap water. It's probably not dangerous to use as drinking or cooking water. You have filtered water and ice in the fridge. You have the water machine from a service that also brings you bottled water. You may be able to take a look at your needs and eliminate something. The machine in your living room is what I think is probably the easiest to lose. If you want a quick hot water option get an electric kettle for the countertop they work super fast. Then you wouldn't have an influx of bottled water coming in. You can get refillable water bottles for yourself and store them in the fridge if you want something portable. If you keep the service and the bottles start to accumulate you can set a cooler outside for the mailman and package deliverers etc to take a drink with them or you can donate the water to your family or to the homeless. Don't let it get out of hand. Soul search your Tupperware system! You probably don't need as much as you will accumulate. Go through it regularly and keep it declittered. You want them easy to keep clean and easy to match together, same or only a couple different sizes and bigger is more versatile than smaller. Maybe think about round deli cartons where the lids are the same but they are different sizes at different heights. There is some overlap between how containers can be used as Tupperware for leftovers and lunch kit or giveaways...some of these items might also be great for canister type storage for your flour, protein powder, tea, etc.
