I like the brick color you have, but If you want a whiter brick, have you thought about a German schmear treatment? It's certainly more permanent than paint. The house looks great. You and Tyler are going to have a great home there!

If you paint the siding a dark color you'll loose the dormers into the roof

Our home has a brick front with an off-yellow body. I honestly do not know the exact color other than It looks great with the brick, our roof color, and landscaping.

@kerrylewis2581 no it's not a forever home so I don't forsee any maintenance issues with painted brick for me. Ultimately I just want something that looks good!

Painting brick, according to masons, I know, is a big mistake. Otherwise, it's a very nice house, especially the garage.

I had worries about painting brick but was assured that as long as it was prepped properly it would be fine. I'm not sure though. It's just another thing to maintain! Thanks so much for watching 🙂
