I don’t like how it seems like they just randomly gave him a dash. Not saying he’s too strong with it but like the dash just seems so random and kinda lazy
@@aclearbluesky2003 Sadly, ithaqua's hitbox is trash and i feel like i've waisted clues on him... what's the point of pulling a survivor close if they can circle me and evade the hit so easily? They cannot do that when i play Nightmare(without the look activated) or even ripper

Ok so here is a translation of everything. Please keep in mind this is a rough and summarized translation. -Unstable Region --Everytime "Fool's Gold" hits an obstacle on the map a mining pick it will create an unstable region that spans 20 meters out and on both sides of the object hit. The mining pick is the center which the zone spreads out from. The mining pick will cause a collapse to happen when another mining pick hits the zone or the mining pick is called back. --Collapse: whenever a mining pick is thrown into an unstable area or pull out of an unstable region it will deal 0.5 damage to the survivor. -Magnetic Conduction --Hitting an Unstable Region with another mining pick will cause the region to collapse. If you miss the unstable region with your pick toss then the cooldown for the pick toss will be 3 seconds shorter. -Magnetic Extension --When the mining pick is thrown and comes in contact with an obstacle it will remain stuck in the obstacle for 10 seconds before returning back. During those 10 seconds u can vault, attack, break pallets. If Fool's Gold goes farther than 60 meters away from the Mining Pick it will automatically return to him. -Traction --Fool's Gold can dash at his pick. His dash will end if he collides with an obstacle before reaching the pick or he is stunned our of it. His mining pick automatically flys back to him when he collides with something or he is stunned out of it. -Magnetic Conversion --You can pick a spot up to 60 meters away and place a guide stone there. The guide stone spawns an Unstable Region and Any obstacles the stone touches will form an unstable region. The stone stays active for 30 seconds. -Resonance --Everytime an Unstable Region collapses the Guide Stones and the Regions touching the Guide Stone will also collapse. There is a transmission time, the farther away a Guide Stone is from the area you collapsed the longer it will take before the Guide Stone Collapses. -On the Verge of Breaking Out --Fool's Gold can now charge up his mining pick to give it a trigger ability. He charges it up for 3 seconds and tosses it at an object. The object will immediately collapse and cause an unstable region to appear at whatever obstacle you threw it at. (Toss when a survivor is near a wall or running to a window. Charge up his mining pick and throw it. It makes impact with the wall dealing damage to the survivor. Immediately call the pick back to cause a 2nd collapse.) Im thinking he will use an Insolence and Detention build.
@@RikuFreddsounds good, also the entomologist leaves honey on the windows, and her version of the hunter can do something similar with the same windows, ciphers, gates, and so on.
He can throw the pickaxe, probably the more charge the further like naiad, if it hits the wall the wall becomes corrupted and puts a small range along it like the new shadow lady hunter, if you're in the range when he pull it out, or pull himself towards it like magnet, it explode and along the wall everyone gets hurt, he can also throw a magnet boulder than connects every wall toghether it reaches in range, if you throw the pickaxe into an already corrupted wall and pull it, the boulder detonate, exploding every wall it has corrupted in it's aoe range, that is all, hope it helps.

in a nutshell: - Throw pickaxe, deals chip damage - Retract pickaxe, deals chip damage - Can dash to thrown pickaxe - Can punch you in the face - Summons a metal ore that deals AoE chip damage, the damage is detonatable if you throw pickaxe in its range
Well u can compare their speed ig also Opera doesn't have cd/delay like the others so that's prob why they're all dashes but with different speed, delay and range

So you shouldn't hug wall while kiting him because he can throw his pickaxe and take it back to cause tremors, dealinng damage to survivors near wall. Neat skill
I think he can also wait, we saw he hits with his hand, so i assume you can put it down and deny a loop if they choose to stay, he pulls back and hits anyway, if you leave he probably hits you, sounds strong but not op, the speed of his and range balance it out probably, and it needs set up, enough for the survivor to leave or predict
I mean that’s every new character. Cheer? Nerf. Shadow lady? Nerf. Anti? Nerf. Windy boy? Nerf. It’s literally what people cry about EVERY SINGLE TIME a new character arrives. Aero? People were calling him hella broke. And then he came out and it got quiet. I swear people need to give new characters a break. And maybe they DO need a nerf. Sometimes it’s more technical. When opera was first available in rank she still had a glitch available that literally broke her abilities. She could traverse the map in speedy mode without having to jump shadows. When people made RU-vid videos commenting on the glitch it finally got fixed soon after.

It's probably balanced out with his slow speed, and it's defently going to be chip dmg, so even if hit the survivor has time to think and not instantly die, it's strong at max, not broken.
@@louised2818 Most likely not, it's not really usefull, the cracking is just visual effect, i think it rather depends on how much charge you use, im the video we saw the difference between throwing it on a wall and throwing it onto the ground, the ground had less coldown, and it probably will have like 10 sec coldown since it ain't that usefull cause survivors can just insta leave or keep running.
he’s an anti kiter just like naiad… no wonder they are both in the essences but idc if they are both unskilled hopefully naiad and him are fun at least
Idk. Abilities looks op, but if his pickaxe throwing mechanics will be the same as Hermit throwing his electric balls it will be hard. For me kiting him is not so hard. He strong only in closed spaces and in tight kite. You only need to avoid the shadows to not get 0,5 damage. (Also pickaxe throwing hitbox looks kinda small). I think many people will use him like Violetta shooting her web, so he needs just accuracy.(If you hit survs with shadows you just lucky). His second ability with the huge stone looks useless. (His usual pickaxe ability hits survs with shadows when he take his pickaxe back from the obstacles. With huge stone ability he hit survs with shadows by throwing his pickaxe into any obstacles and also huge stone can make more shadow areas than pickaxe, but what's the meaning using this ability if survs will watch where is the shadows to avoid hits.)
I'm pretty sure in the current meta he won't be strong, many survivor can change kiting place in an instant, he probably will be a good camper or deny tight kites as you said, and he's slow, about 4,5m sec, that ain't fast about the same as clerk.
What's amazing is that this is the first hunter who has a second way to damage survivors besides by hunters like not Leo and the puppet and violinist I meant like by just fist using there fist 😂😂😂😂 unless I'm wrong but anyway yea this hunter going to be shown in a lot of matches
he is so cool and op but it just made me realize that my journy of maining aesop might have to end ....it was already hard kiting opera singer i won't even try with him
WAITED A WHOLE YEAR AND IM NOT EVEN DISAPPOINTED 😭😍😍 I know its gonna be hard for me personally as surv because I legit can't kite dashing hunters sometimes ☠☠ that's just me being trash tho
He won't be for control, the ability is quite bad and slow for it to be control, very mostly for hunt, very rarely for camp since it takes about, 0,7 second to leave the range of the corruption.
