New Idea for Window Envelopes: Belly Band with a Window Pocket

The secret of this belly band is a pocket to hold a bookmark with a tassel, and the double secret is the notch at the top of the pocket for the tassel to hang out of at the top of the page. I also made a couple of other variations. There are lots of ways to make belly bands, but I'm not sure I've seen this particular idea. (If you have, please let me know so I can link the video and give proper credit.)
I will use two of the examples I made in this video in a journal I'm planning to make soon. It's based on an old book cover I found in my mother's things: Uncle Rip Pays a Visit. I recently made a faux passport for that journal, too. Here's a link to that video, if you'd like to see it.

I love this idea so much. I'm always worried about bookmarks getting ruined so I laminate some, but that doesn't always work well so this is a fab alternative. TFS 😊

This is a great idea. So funny. Today I looked at my collection of cardboard packages that I paint, punch and make dangles/charms with. I felt like a hoarder looking at it 🤣🤣 and I wanted to make room for my other craft supplies I just purchased. I weeded through the cardboard, kept just a few and recycled the rest. Felt good.
