I tested it, loved it and purchased it. I personally don’t like any of the other idoles except this one and I think lancome figured that out and made the ‘Now’ version for me and people like me. This version I believe was created to be more mainstream and sell. Is it boring? Most might say yes but I never wear just one fragrance. I always layer because I want to smell unique and I think this scent is also perfect for that.

I sniffed Now (not loving the name btw 😕) yesterday and it is still projecting off my arm today! 😂 I quite enjoy it especially as Nectar gives me an instant headache, too sweet for me. So far Aura is my all time favourite, love the salt note ❤ I might buy a small botrle of Now as the longevity is great and I enjoy the vanilla aspect of this scent. I vow to only buy frangrances that last going forward. I am getting more and more impatient with short lived, expensive scents 🙄 xx

@@glencoco8751 it's quite similar to Aura with that idole DNA, flowers and vanilla in both, but Now is a bit sweeter, slightly brighter in the opening and doesn't have the salt note which makes Aura quite summery. It has better longevity than Aura. So far I like Now and Aura the best. I don't like the Nectar flanker as it's overly sweet and gives me an instant headache, but some people say Now also shares some similarities with this too, but I I don't pick up on that thankfully. Thank you for your review, Noura! I blind bought the new flanker but it hasn't arrived yet. So excited! My favourite one is Aura, but I love the original one as well. Nectar gave me a headache although I liked the scent. Much love from Germany :)

Totally agree they are going down hill also with what they are doing with the private collection. I think the whole brand needs some refreshing 🤔

I really like Idole Nectar but still hope Lancome will release a version of Idole Nectar with a more distinctive rose scent. I've heard many people say Idole Now is similar to Nectar. They said the same thing as you, but which version do you think has the stronger rose scent?
