Hi Christine, Thanks for your comment. I specifically selected from COS's pre-spring collection and honestly it was slim pickings and full of very winter-like pieces and other pieces that I just didn't vibe with. I loved the suit but the pants were too tights. I did not like the jeans because they were too short and too tight. I loved the skirt and was definitely not hesitant about that. The polo did not have a good silhouette. I wish I loved them all but I wanted to be fully honest. I wish it was a more successful haul but thank you for taking the time to watch it none-the-less. I always appreciate honest feedback so thank you for sharing! xo
Hello Maria Sunshine! I remember when polos were really popular and that was quite a while ago! Many classroom teachers wear them as part of their uniform and that makes me not want to wear them! I avoided some items for a long time because they reminded me of uniforms (like white pants I wore when I worked in a dentist's office) or blazers (when I worked in a banking corporate environment) but those feelings have faded :) I think if you style them up in a chic way, you can start to forget the relationship to workwear :) Hope you are enjoying the weekend! The polo should make a return trip to the store I think >.< simply because the batwing shape is not too flattering, but overall I liked the other styling and I think you are good in choosing styles suits you

No for me to the polo with bat wings but you can pull it off! The black mini is gorgeous on you. I love Cos but it seems they are late with their spring line.
Hi Potoula, yes this pre-spring collection felt very wintery and honestly it was hard to shop as I really need some more warmer weather items. I'll keep an eye out and will be sure to share some faves as they come out. xo.
When I was on their website, I saw that polo short sleeve shirt and I was about to put it into my cart when I saw that it had Dolman or batwing sleeves… I don’t want anything that’s too new and edgy looking.
Hi Lisa, honestly I didn't notice the dolman sleeves until I received it. Very dissappointing. I with it was a more successful haul overall but hopefully they'll come out with better spring pieces as their pre-spring was a not impressive, sadly. xo
Hi Jessica, thank you for your comment. Are you asking me if we should size up on slim fits? I think that really depends on how you want it to fit. First I'd look at the size chart. I am between a 6 and 8 US size. For a slim fit, I would go with the 8 as I don't like items to be too tight. I'm still trying to get used to the sizing for COS and often have to exchange items because they don't fit as expected. Hope this helps?

Oh that's great - I am a 10-10.5. Sometimes an 11 too. Usually lots of 11's are always available so you must have your size in whatever you want, I'd imagine? xo
Hi Maria, yes I would say the new pants do hit you at the wrong spot. They are too short. The jeans look great with the pleated bottoms. I checked the fabric content, both are 100% cotton. The weave is just loose so they are growing. Hopefully you find something in the next haul. Thanks for your honest response about the fit and fabric. It saves us from making the same errors and having to send them back.

I love the jeans for being 100% cotton as I don't like to have spandex in them but yes you are right they are probably a loose weave which makes them give over time. I wish it was a more successful haul. I'm curious what else they come out with because I generally love the brand but their pre-spring collection was a little disappointing. I always want to be honest and make sure I always steer you in the right direction. xo
