I love the Chanel highlighter, am in the uk & have had it a couple of weeks…. It’s just perfection. Plus it layers beautifully with the Chanel No 1 foundation & lip and cheek balm. They have to make it permanent !

I’m not sure if someone else has already mentioned it, but the new Chanel Lipsticks are $55 for only 0.07 ounces of product, whereas the standard Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks cost $42 for 0.12 ounces! So, you’re paying $13 more but getting not quite half the amount of product! Even the refills are 0.07 ounces for $42. The same price as the other lipsticks with 0.12 ounces! Also, you can’t use the refills without the actual case, you can’t wind it up and down on its own, you need the case to do that. I think I’m going to pass myself 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@mrsb1212 yes we don’t have to take it seriously but just to support you yesterday I saw a lipstick online that I would like from a higher end line already expensive and it was now 70$. I thought as much as I love this stuff this is getting to be a rip off. I would be a bad business person to purchase it at that price. Made me feel taken advantage of. Anyway onward to cheery things. 👍

Yes. My fav kind of content !!! I love the persona new Bubble , oh get this. Funny story I went to Sephora got color matched ! Omg I’m a cool. I have always thought I was neutral , they matched me cool. What ??? I think it’s the foundation. It’s the ABH. It’s really pretty on the skin !! Yay. The match had me all 🤯 edit. Michele, u blow me away how u can literally make any makeup brand, color, etc…look so good on u. I was surprised that u went with the Guerlain in Warm 1, instead of Cool 1. There again, u proved that u can pull off warm & cool and make it look amazing. I’m on the fence about the Guerlain highlighter bc I’m still trying to work through my Victoria Beckham Beauty bronzers. Honestly, that bronzer looked a little orange on me, and I was upset bc I thought I needed a 2 and they were sold out everywhere. I got impatient and ordered the 3 and then my daughter bought me the shade in 1😩 It wasn’t until I watched u do a review on her bronzers and I watched how gently u applied it, that I was like, “Ok, I think I can make this work.” I preordered the Camelia highlighter. I’m just waiting for Chanel to take my money and ship mine to me. Luckily, I’ve been able to pass on most of the makeup that’s come out lately. Well, that’s kind of a lie. I did order a lipstick from La Bouche Rouge w/a beautiful pale pink leather case last night. Thanks for another great video.

You could always take a photo of the embossed products and have them framed for your makeup room. That way you get to use the product freely but also keep the untouched artwork.

Loved this video. Naturally I’ve ordered a few things. I trust your judgement. Wait don’t panic. LoL. I also trust my own. So I ordered the cooler tone Guerlain bronzer AND the warmer tone. I tend to like cooler tones on my skin. We have similar skin tones for sure. Also ordered the Chanel highlighter! Omg it’s gorgeous. I thought you DID GET the cooler shade in the Guerlain bronzer! It’s called Clair rose/ light cool and I purchased it because of your review during the Sephora sale! I watched you demo it on one of your videos. It has a really strong smell - normally I’m not too bothered by scent in cosmetics but this smell is really strong and I don’t love the smell

With all the new products out, it would be great if you would do separate designated videos on foundations, concealers, setting powders, finishing powders etc which explain the differences and nuances between brands (micro glitter, pearl, matte or settles into lines). Like you did a few years ago.

I’ve actually stopped buying Chanel highlighters because I don’t like messing up the embossing. 😅 It truly upsets me, especially if it’s limited edition and I know I can’t get it again. P.S. Would love to hear your thoughts on the new Dior Addict Hydrating Shine lipsticks 💕

Fabulous review as usual, Michele! My Byredo palette also had a shade puffing out -- actually that same dark eggplant with the pink sparkles. Then I opened and closed it--and it actually fell out of the palette! so I had to take it back to Bloomingdale's for an exchange. I hope yours remains intact!

So much pretty 😍 That gorgeous palette is a stunner! I have mixed emotions about the Chanel refillable lipstick. As others have mentioned, it's such a teeny amount of product for such a high price tag. But pretty colours, and I'm intrigued by the formula 🤔 Think I'll use some Boots points and try it.

Oh no! I just ordered the Kosas tinted oil. My skin is beyond parched, and I am hoping an oil-based foundation will feel more hydrating on the skin. Anyhoodle, I definitely will be ordering the Persona blush instead of my usual Nars.

I love a subtle yet wet looking highlight. I don’t like looking “glittery” anywhere but my eyes. It’s why I love the highlight in Wayne Goss’s blush duos so much. But you may have just convinced me on this Chanel highlight. Too bad it’s limited edition. That may be the only reason I decide against it now. I don’t want to fall in love and never be able to repurchase it again.
