I have one & for me, I use it for spraying release oil onto concrete forms. Only real criticism I have is that the bottle could be a lot bigger, like 2L - 2.5L rather than 800ml and also the 2ah battery it came with is a little on the weak side but the 4ah batteries are relatively cheap so not a big problem to fix there.
i live in NewZealand and bought one of this and its so cheap comapre to any other brands(1/2 or 1/3 price of other cheap brands).it does the job well,i painted my deck with no issue
Hi, I have the cordless version with 4.0ah battery. I have the viscosity of the wall paint to less than 25secs. However the spray is uneven and blotchy. Any ideas. Should wall and ceiling paint be ok with these?
Hi Mike, Wall and ceiling should be fine, the most important thing is the viscosity of the paint as you already know, without seeing it you may potentially need to clean the spray gun and especially the nozzle to ensure the paint is spraying smoothly. Hope that helps!
Hi! I got this brand new spray gun online, and i tried to test if it could spray liquid out. So i used water instead of paint but, nothing comes out. Unless, it ONLY works for paint? Thanks from Singapore!
Hi Nadeem, We have two types of batteries, a 2Ah and a 4Ah, the latter lasts longer than the former however it is difficult to put a time on it as it depends heavily on how hard you are working the spray gun. Hope that helps!
Hi Gonzo, It is always a good idea to refer to the user manual however the spray gun uses any standard paint, the more important factor is the viscosity of the paint itself and making sure it is not too thick for the gun! As for the cleaning/maintenance it is pretty straight forward to remove the parts and clean and we would recommend you do so regularly. Let us know if there is anything else!
Hi Kerron, We would NOT recommend spraying oil with the sprayer. The sprayer works best with a certain thickness paint as determined by the viscosity cup. Hope that helps!
