So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

I bought the 9th gen ipad for 25K from croma last month on an HDFC offer and stock clearance. Even got an Apple pencil for 8500. I compared both The 10th and 9th gen and apart from the design & chip change has the same OS features as 9th gen. I use mine for reading, note taking and watching OTT time to time.

This iPad may not be for everyone. However they could have made it to be flexible for both Apple pencils to attract more buyers. They could have then discontinued the iPad 9 gen.

Bro Let me Explain 9th & 10th Gen are only 8-9k differences I-pad 10 Genration looks are far better than 9th Gen! If you are talking about copy speed then it will become worse in 9th Genration due to down processors Front camera now in Display which is also a major reason to buy! Screen size is Big in 10 Genration! Colour choices is available (if u dont want to use folio) Most Important things Now they are not charging on Pencil Connectore,I got Free connector for Pencil! So if you are going to Spend 32k then it is ok to go with some updated version in diffrence spending extra 8-9k

Currently I’m using IOS 18 . I have this same issue with my iPad Air 5. While using apple notes app my iPad start heating up on right side of it and start battery draining in 1min or less the battery drain 1% . While using notability app the battery uses is 1% in 12 min of use. I have talked with apple they simply run a diagnostic online and said that there is no hardware or software issue . This is my 2 nd iPad the 1st one is having the same issues. In apple community also people have addressed this same issue since many year ago still people are facing the same issue. So I request to everyone talk to apple support and tell them the issue by giving such example because it’s a serious issue.
