he dropped it on asphalt which is softer and more shock absorbing than concrete. If he would've dropped it on the sidewalk it would crack just like any other phone with a glass back.
Not only were you an astronaut, a soldier, a firefighter, a doctor, a teacher, and a cop, but now you’ve become a phone tester. You’re a very talented man.
Tik tok trend: it all started when my mom "mr clean" med my dad "howie from americans got talent" and got me hi my name is ryan and my life is canda crazy! 😜🤪🤪🤪😛😋😝😋😛😜😋😝😛🤪😜🤪🤪
@@UsmanAli-sv8ny I know but what I'm getting at is that the tests are not consistent, every time the phone falls a different way, the phone could even hit a small pebble which could crack it
Tbh if he did the drop completely face flat it would have cracked, they must have reinforced the stainless steal to absorb more impact since it keeps landing on the sides
Phones logic is that they don't break or crack if you want them to. But when you don't have money in your pockets and you have finals coming and no time and can't afford any extra stress.. The phone can break in your hand. 🤷🏻♀️
The glass is the same, it's just that the drops were on the sides mostly. This kind of test isn't very accurate because in some cases the phone will drop in a different way that might/ might not break the phone.
Phone drops are really subjective, I’ve dropped some from waste height, and shattered my phone while dropping my other phone from head height flat on the screen without a scratch lol
Jayden Dickson yup!! Yeah are used to write a lot on his channel when the skate park was around. I live a little over an hour from him so it’s been pretty hard to meet up, not to mention having a family now tightens up my schedule a little more. I just film on my channel for the time being. Thanks for the support and noticing🤙🏽
Mike Fede After you made a legendary video (iPhone xs Max durability test -how weak is the big iPhone?)now you come out with this $hit!!!!!! How much the evil 🍎 pay you to lie? I can’t f:.:cking believe what you doing in this video 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬,no body wants to say the truth about 🍎 like you did in that video(iPhone xs Max durability test)every single word you said against 🍎 in that video is 100%the truth and now this!!!!!! I don’t understand how easily an evil company like 🍎 can buy your will ,you can’t lie to me!!!!! I can see it in your eye$ ,NOW YOU ARE A $ELLOUT🤮🤮🤮🤑🤑🤑......
I remember one day when I was a kid I went shopping with my mom and when we were on the escalator my mom accidentally dropped her Nokia from the third floor. We both saw it hitting the ground and the battery flew 15 feet away from the rest of the phone. My mom thought the phone was dead but when I put the battery back in, it booted up like if nothing happened and the screen was intact. I really miss those phones
My drop with my Nokia phone was not from quite the same height, but it was from my head, forward onto concrete. The back few off, the battery went flying, the top section flew out of the case (I didn't know that came out), and I think even the part behind the battery with the number pad also came out. I looked at the pieces in horror, put everything back together. Nothing, but things didn't seem tightly together, Push it hard back together and with a few popping noises it worked and looked like it had before the drop.
Reading this on a Kyocera Duraforce pro with no case and no screen protector. I have abused this phone for work, and for volunteer work as a firefighter
In my class someone’s iPhone XS Max slipped from his pocket while sitting and it broke both the back and the screen He said it was just the third day he had it So I’ll show him this video hehehe
He is very attractive. Lovely eyes and manly jowline. His pecs are strong and the bulge inside those jeans is respectable. I think I'm in love with Jerry.
I have never had an iPhone break once. From the iPhone 3G all the way to the XS I’ve had 7 different iPhones in that time. The only phone I have had the screen break was when I had a Galaxy S3, and I broke two of them in the span of a couple of months. The first was in a case! The second one was brand new replaced and I didn’t have it in a case.. but I shouldn’t have had my phone out on a factory floor anyway so that’s on me. But of all the iPhones I have ever owned, and dropped- I have never broken a single iPhone.
Believe it or not the tar underneath the rocks on the road is cushioning the fall just like a shock absorber. you need to drop it on concrete that is solid.
Dan Thefan you’re reaching. It’s still 3/4” aggregate rock mixed with tar. Rock is harder than concrete. The phones were dropping edge down into rocks.
"Glass is glass, and glass breaks" - somedays later "Because in my mind, glass should break from head height... and now I don't know what to do with my life right now..." Lmao
@@phon_ho I really would like to link you on of his videos where he says that "Glass is glass, and glass breaks". Since he says it alot in other vids. But I can't watch all his older videos to find u one with proof.
It definitely isn't. Asphalt has rubber as part of it's mixture so it will absorb some of the impact. EverythingApplePro drop tested these phones on concrete and the iPhone XS shattered at waist height!
@@AJ-ox8xy Well, my house have a very hard floor. Much harder than asphalt and concrete cement. The asphalt have way much cushion than concrete cement. For something made in glass this make a difference
If you haven't figured it out by now, Zack does the burn test and scrapes more metal than is needed on his durability test to drive people nuts, more than any practical reason. Yes, he needs to test each face and button, but he always does some extra scrapings for those who it annoys.
With my Galaxy S8+, it has fallen about 6 feet with not cracks or scratches. But when it fell off my bed as I got up the top right corner cracked. It's all random.
@@rustinpeace770 lmao , there no one is criticizing them , its just not conventional to drop a phone on asphalt , like every home has either ceramic tiles or they drop their phones in the driveway which is made of concrete .
I like how you dropped it how a normal person would. Like other people drop it from 100 feet which is helpful for know the durability, but come on, who is going to drop their phone from 100 feet accidentally? Now we know the durability if our phone fell out of our hand or pocket! Thank you!! Also I like how you put a case on one and the other was “bare skinned”. This really helped me decide if I should get the phone! Which I prob will for xmas. Thanks soooooo much!
U know the stupid challenge? The one that u have to hold ur phone with two fingers by the corner and moving it around from a high place?Well...That might happen...
@@hollyg7346 it's not, it's pretty good but if u dont like it dont tell other people not to buy it, the only bad things about it are that it has no home button and the notch covers some of the screen, but the rest is great except for the price, but u got to pay money for quality
Not to hate on apple, but all drops are different. You could drop 1 iPhone Xs from the top of the Eiffel Tower to the bottom without a dent, while you could drop another one at a foot height to soft carpet and have your phone looking like it just went through an industrial grinder.
I dropped my iPhone X from about head height and nothing happened but my friend dropped his iPhone 6 from about 1 foot high onto grass and the screen shattered. Every drop from any height can potentially cause bad damage if you’re unlucky
Abraham Woldetsadik the video wasn’t sponsored by the company who made the case. It was sponsored by lastpass. He’s just saying that it’s a good case that’s cheap on amazon
I went from a 6+ to a S8. Im not an Apple or Android fanboy. They both have things I really like. Android: love the play store. Way more apps. I love the complete customisation of Android devices. With Android you are usually paying for newer technology and not as much the "name." I think Androids are a lot more fun to play with. That being said, up until recently the cost to fix any Android device has been 3-4x more costly to fix then an iPhone. Also, the edge screen of Samsungs serves little to no purpose, and it generally a nuisance more so than a feature. Apple: iMessages, Facetime, and iTunes are just more convenient. There's not a standard app across all Android devices, it varies from manufacturer, and manufacture date. App store is generally more secure. If you arent a advanced user you are much less likely to download some adware / malware app on an iPhone. Look, don't argue which is better. They both serve their purposes. Get which one suits you best and don't criticize other for their choices.
