Im sorry about my energy in this video I am still not doing the best but I am working through it! So I think I actually enjoyed these boxes but I think there are a couple issues. I really didn't like that I wasn't able to elect my products even though I still had time to do so and Im just not sure of the inclusion of a $200 product that seems to be potentially gimmicky. However, I think this might be my favorite out of the "New" Ipsy boxes even though it is pretty pricey! Let me know your thoughts! Love ya💖

I don't think the $200 skin care thing should count. They are absolutely a scam, they came out awhile ago and I can't remember who it was, but they debunked all the claims. Plus like that review said, hardly any skin care actually works with it. If I remember correctly they were pushing a certain skincare brand when you got down to it, it was like the only skincare that would work with it so pretty sure there was kickback or something going on!

I would honestly love to see you do a follow up video trying to use the $200 magic box. Seems absolutely ridiculous, but I'm also already laughing imagining you navigating using it

I tried to cancel all my ipsy/fake boxy the other day. Was able to do the glam bag, old lux, BUT, was unable to cancel the old regular boxy. They set it up to where you can't actually cancel your subscription without contacting someone. Super frustrating. When they sent me the "iconbox" with cut up paper and a broken eyeshadow pallet, I was officially done.

In your community tab, you mentioned being "off" and apologized; there's no need to apologize. Your video and energy were fine. It's actually refreshing to watch a RU-vid influencer who doesn't spend every video spending thousands of dollars on wasteful and unrealistic "hauls" and doesn't hide the fact that they are a normal human. I hope that you feel more at peace soon. ❤

I canceled my Ipsy Glam in April in time to not get charged for May. I was still charged for May and just got charged for June. It doesn’t even say canceled anymore 😒 The products went from decent value to now feeling like the samples you get in free gifts when ordering from Ulta or Sephora.

I've learned you can only customize on the 2nd of the month no matter what it says. That mascara was actually impressive, I'm not normally a fan of the MAC mascaras. I was happily surprised. 😂 I can't get excited about the exercising either. But the cream seemed nice on my skin, not sure how well it works. I haven't had an allergic reaction in the test spot yet, though, so that's positive. I got the primrose palette and blue tooth thing as well. The jlo face cream smells sunscreen-y. The brushes were nice. The Peach lipstick might smell good. I got one not sure of color match but my cold that it was desert at first. 😂 I was like, please, don't eat that. I'm jealous you're had packing foam mine didn't and some of the products showed the bad packing issues. Broken issues

The breakfast the hotel has will and has before been my singular reason for choosing one hotel over another.

I'm in Canada, and that box costed me $92!!! And, I guess I was lucky because I got the Modern Renaissance Palette. It's fine, but surprisingly it has a lot of dustiness to it, but the pigment is pretty good. The shipping costs are outrageous. Depending on who the next so called 'Icon' is, I may be cancelling. We'll see lol.

When I was getting ipsy I remember I typically went through the link in the email they sent to choose my items otherwise I remember it being really hard to find where you can actually choose on the website. It was like you found where it kept taking me in circles and never to the actual place to choose the items.

You got some great boxes. Yeah, I think 2 boxes is plenty enough and that's a great idea to make the profiles very different to hopefully get a wider range of products. They do go off your history as well though so they might not change right away. Make sure you review the products bc that helps you get what you want in your boxes too. One of those boxes has the beauty boost bc the Ole Henriksen moisturizer was the beauty boost this month. Loved the video as always! Hugs to the boys!

Seems like you'd be fine just getting one of those boxes, and that $200 device thing should absolutely not count towards the money amount that is 100% a scam

For exercise you could try water workout classes. I go to the arthritis classes in a warm therapy pool but there are others for different levels. I found my classes at our YMCA.

I wonder if you did a profile with a dark skin tone you might get makeup with deeper more adventurous tones. Then you could donate any complexion products that don’t work to shelters like you were doing before but keep the more adventurous/deep color cosmetics.

Great video, that Bluetooth skincare device was a joke. If Ipsy is trying to improve their image they certainly failed with that item. Even listing it for $200, just wow. I can get a great set of Bluetooth headphones for less than that. Think of all the workin things you can get with $200. I just can’t quit thinking of how horrible it is and to claim it’s so expensive, who do they think they’re fooling 😂

My Icon box just shipped today. Due to arrive on the 9th of JUNE!!! I did get the Boost in an advent calender last year and can honestly say I have noticed a difference in how well my skin care is absorbed. I was very skeptical about it, but have been pleasantly surprised by how well it works, once you master the process of programming the damn thing 😂

I had trouble with choice this month too...and had to wait a little while then come back to the app and it FINALLY let me choose!!

My glambag was actually pretty good this month, 4 deluxe samples and a full size mascara, and one of my deluxe samples was a perfume! I was amazed.

I like the products that you received in the box's, I liked a lot of the products but my favourite were the Palette and the face and eye cream items and the peach lipstick I like peach tone lipstick they give me that nice subtle colour to my lips, I love anything peach lol! Fab video I enjoy seeing what kind of products you end up getting in these unboxing videos and to see what new products are out there. 😊💯

Your boxes were way better than mine. My profile is makeup heavy and marked as a blonde. I got one mini palette and a brow pencil in medium brown when I wear blonde. I didn’t get any other makeup, the rest was skincare and I didn’t get JLo either. I was really disappointed

I keep getting an ipsy ad on fb and they're advertising hoards of makeup, big brands, full sized stuff. $13 for it and we all know it's just lotion samples lol

Yes keep two accounts. Only have one of them subscribed to the icon box cuz then when it’s icon box month you will get the glam bag, your boxycharm by Ipsy from one account and the upgrade to the icon box from the other account. That is what I do! Then I don’t have FOMO lol

Have you ever done the math on those samples? It’ll make you feel real good for canceling them. I do believe that it used to be worth at least $50? Not up to $70? When I still got the bags, a few times I took the price and size of the full sized items and figured out how much the product in the deluxe samples were worth. I maybe did this with 8 or 10 bags over years and found that the average price of my items were around $28. Even with one or two full sized products, I never got above $35. And I really didn’t like how the bags smelled more and more like TPE plastic the more time went on…. Getting rid of the boxes, used to get all ipsies and all BCs at one point for a year), not a one but thinking about eyescream or p louise occasionally (or - i forget the name - anyone? - those luxury boxes that always sell out quick and come maybe 3 or 4 times a years? Is Pop Sugar a thing or is that a candy store? Whatever - so getting rid of those boxes, best decision ever.

My box was pretty decent too 🤷🏻‍♀️ I got the eye cream, fenty primer, concealer, eyebrow product, eyeliner, mascara, cream bronzer, pat McGrath lipstick and the primrose palette. I kinda like that I can do just about a full face, minus foundation

On the app they have a timeline, its usually the beginning of the month for picking. But yea its only a few days you get.

I have the face serum version of the vitamin c by glow recipe ❤ I love it so much ! It smells good I feel like it has improved some of my dark spots , highly recommend trying !

Mine was almost all skin care and I didn’t get a pallet 🌸that JLo team is very nice and thick for nighttime.

I tried the ABH brow serum when it first came out, bzzagent sent it to me to review, I used it per the directions for 12 weeks and i didn't see any growth, maybe they felt softer like conditioner makes your hair softer but hopefully it works better for you. I've still never tried any ABH palettes, I think I'm the only person who hasn't 😢😂 That 200 $ skincare gizmo screams wish product or like it would be found in the"as seen on tv" aisle in Walgreen's 😂😂😂 The larger boxes weren't too bad, a nice variety of items. The little bag was just "eh". You look beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing!

I had the exact same thing happen to me when trying to customize my box. I finally gave up and just cancelled the whole thing.

Pretty sure the Ole Henricksen is your beauty boost product. You should be able to customize on the 2nd and 3rd of every month for the boxy and icon box. I'm not sure if the glambag customization is the same date every month I just know it's towards the end of the month.

That Ole henrickson peptide moisturizer is the most amazing product I own. Please use it!

Customisation for Icon Box and Boxycharm by Ipsy takes place in 2nd of the month. NOTE. Customisation for June Boxycharm by Ipsy is June 2nd. If leave it till the 4th you may find the thing you want is all allocated. Best to get in early. I normally customise first thing in the morning about 7am my time

I got an ABH pallet in my icon box but one of the shades came smashed all up!

I am pretty sure that the 200 bluetooth thing does not work like they said. Sure, it might help to some extent but not the way they say it "forces the products deeper into your skin" or what it was. And I think keep 2 of the boxes, to get a wide(r) range of products maybe one skincare heavy one and one makeup heavy one? I dont know, I think these videos are super fun as a beautybox subscriber myself (Glossybox), I wish we had Ipsy over here because I love the fact that you get a bag with every one!
