@@QueerBones With the Belgian post being on strike, the Martine Cosmetics order will probably arrive in September. I just can't justify both that and Isamaya right now. 😔
They just started last year, Isamaya Ffrench is a makeup artist. She started the Byredo makeup brand as their creative director and worked for Tom ford too. I have a lot of their products and want the rest haha She definitely does interesting packaging
I would loooove a comparison video later!!! ❤ would you be willing to post the similar shades next to each other from each palette (like all greens next to greens, all oranges next to other oranges)?
Hi Colin! Thanks so much for talking about this palette. I got the whole collection too and I’m in love with everything. The layering these colors and textures is so fun. Happy belated Pride as well!
Wow this quality of this seems so much better than the original palette. Thank you for doing the live swatches. I passed on this ...for now lol! Really pretty looks too!
I personally don’t think the quality of the first was an issue, more the types of formulas being things some didn’t enjoy but this is definitely exceeding my expectations
I thought the same thing with the first 3 shades swatched. When I watched isamaya swatch video yesterday, I thought Midnight sun vibes🖤 with those shades. 😊
Your video is the first I’ve seen on this palette! It’s absolutely gorgeous. That last shadow! 😍 I know I’ll pick this up eventually! I’ve bought so much lately I need to wait awhile. I can’t wait to see what you think about it after you’ve had it awhile and to see more looks using the palette. Her lip gloss always looks so great on the lips. I can’t do any amount of sting/tingle so I can’t try them, but they are so beautiful!
Oh Colin, for your follow up video on this palette, would you please do comparison swatches? I'm intrigued to see how colors like Alloy compare to palette 1's Flesh.
I received the palette (incredible, as always) and Rust lip gloss yesterday. I LOVE the gloss and I think you've now convinced me to get the metallic one. Their lip products have become my favorite in general.
@@QueerBones The red from the LIPS collection is the prettiest red I’ve ever worn. I ended up getting the Flamingo one as well because I loved their red so much.
@@QueerBones "Lovely" is the word I would use to describe the pink. It's a softer pigment (I think a balm as opposed to a lipstick?), but still has nice color payoff. It's a happy pink!
Thank you for this first impression! Stunning left eye look (no fallout!?). It’s a “maybe” for me at this point. I look forward to your second impression video.
Just a little word of what would help.. It would have been nice to have a clearer view of not only the palette, but the swatches. The one thing people want to see is the product & we spent more time seeing your forehead & hair (nice curls!) than we did the products. Please know, NOT a criticism of YOU, but recommendation of what would help improve your videos for the future. Much love, Shelbie =)❤
Thank you for describing textures in detail - I was very curious how cream-to-powders compared to putty formula in the other palette. The 'water' shade is really intriguing, I wonder if it functions similarly to 'hydra powders' or perhaps uses a sugar molecule or some other form of polymer. Did it feel 'cold' wet or just 'wet' wet? It is a very very beautiful shade. I love this colour story, and these palettes make me genuinely excited about makeup. Not sure how I feel about 'gold leaf' copper shade but that is probably due to combo of that formula with that particular colour. Also excited about Metal gloss, it is exactly my kind of shade. Extremely random but: is that an Amcor air conditioning unit? It sounds exactly like my old one and it will weirdly bother me if I did not ask this strange question lol. Btw, have you considered getting one of those 'cool gel mats' that is sold for dogs (but should not be, imo)? I use one of back of my chair for Zoom, and they are surprisingly very very cooling.
@QueerBones that is true, lol. I had a look at ingredients, and it seems to be primarily due to a sugar compound that melts close to human body temperature. There are a couple of petrochem ingredients that might be part of playing the role too. I have not checked for any patents because they would likely belong to lab and I... need to stop reading dockets and PDFs for 'fun'. Or guessing air conditioning units. Now I am thinking how a heat-reactive colour-changing finish would be pretty cool with this packaging.
I can hear you just fine over the AC. If it means you being comfortable while filming turn it on we will adjust our volume if need be. (Now let me go back to finish watching the video) 😊
Hi it’s the first video of yours I’ve watched, love your descriptions , but hate to say viewing the top of your head and bookcase ( instead of the palette and your hands) really irritated ! Sorry to say it , maybe move your camera?
That was an issue with this one, sorry. I’m working on adjusting my filming setup. I use my phone and was trying out using the back camera but then I can’t see anything
