I’m glad you guys were able to catch the vibe that newjeans is trying to go for. Their concept is very a2k teenage girls just having fun together they seem very natural even the choreo portrays that as you guys mentioned they normally hype each other up look at each other and smile as if they are friends da ding they do not want to seem staged. They music is very easy going and just nice to listen kind of sound they do a lot of uk garage especially in their recent comeback. The reason they have broken so many record just as a rookie group with not even a year of debut is because people wanted a fresh vibe K-pop was full of girl crush concepts with repetitive hard sounds typical hyped K-pop why they 5 different genres in one song and although we love that when we listen to newjeans they feel different and fresh it is also a sound that Ian wry main stream meaning that has the potential to be big in the us even though they already are. Their most recent album Get up placed #1 in top ulbums billboard 200 surpassing the Barbie album which placed second that’s just shows ho much of an impact they have. They performed at lollapalooza in Chicago which is one of the biggest festivals. They made their US debut in Lolla as a set of 45 minutes yet they still pulled more then 70,000 people in the crowd min you they were t even headliners. They sure,y have a bright future ahead we love newjeans the girls themselves are sweethearts very gen z they you can tell their are genuine Here is some recommendation: super shy, eta, cool with you, new jeans(it’s a song), Omg. Vocal showcases: lee mujins service Hanni, lee mujin service Danielle, their recording behind shows their raw vocals and their process in recording their songs. Guides: unfortunately there aren’t many guides that I would recommend due to the girls not been debuted for a long time the ones that are out there are old and not really good in terms of getting to know the girls I would say this comeback brought us more content though so I for sure hope that there is one on the making. They do have a RU-vid channel where they stay connected with fans and up,our videos regularly their lives are the funniest though they show more of their individual personalities. Good reaction. Ditto and OMG are 2 of the deepest, most illuminating reflections of the Kpop industry, its fans and its idols. IMO, Ditto speaks about the parasocial relationship between kpop fans and their idols; the good and bad aspects of being immersed in a Kpop group fandom. The good is that it can help you cope with a bad situation currently being experienced. The girl behind the camera (representing fans) had a cast, possibly from a car accident where she may have lost her parents (never shown), but nevertheless trying to cope with a traumatic experience. She was comforted by imagining her favorite Kpop group members surrounding her with loving companionship. But eventually she had to face reality in order to move on (broke her camera, moved from her imaginary relationship with her Kpop Idols to a real relationship with the Boy). Years later she put in the VHS, and all the happy memories (about how her Kpop group gave her a sense of loving support to help her cope with a traumatic situation) came rushing back. The downside is that if you stay in that imaginary world, your real world will be in ruins as you lose sight of your own necessary personal growth and the needed transition to adulthood with all the associated responsibilities that come with that. And BTW, the blank look on the boy AND her fellow classmates as she was videotaping gives me the impression that they all knew the girl was coping with a traumatic experience and were empathetic. While Ditto is about the parasocial relationship from the fans point of view, OMG is about that same parasocial relationship, but from the Idol's point of view.

Ditto changed my perspective in Kpop I just felt that message was for me as someone who stan them the song has long lore and it's own channel the girl is called Banheeso it's name of our fandom bunnies so the song was gift of fans in winter .it's comfort to me their is side b I love newjeans music and as someone who has same age with girls I can relate to them more thank you for reaction 💙

Welcome to the Bunnies/Tokkis fandom. For ballads, I suggest the songs “Hurt”/“Hurt 250 Mix”, their OST called “Beautiful Restriction”, & their cover of IU's "Celebrity". Their latest release, “GODS”,is an anthem for Worlds 23; a gaming tournament for League of Legends, but this is not their usual “sound”.

You should watch their "OMG" official MV. It's got that same K drama vibe with freaky ending. If you like ballads I'd suggest Hurt. My favorite song by them is ETA. It will get stuck in your head, and there is a bit of a controversy at the end of the MV with maybe an implied murder.

If you guys are new to New Jeans, I'd like you to watch Lolapallooza concert in Chicago this summer from their official youtube. They were awesome with 70,000 crowd. You won't regret.
