I’ve had my S3 GW since March and save for the horrible gas mileage, I’ve had no complaints. The absolute best highway vehicle I’ve ever experienced. We love it!!!
I love the this jeep ❤❤I just rented it in florida 2 weekends ago and It was great. I have zero complaints about the Wagoneer. Ones it started raining crazy, automatically the windshield wipers turns on. The comfort was amazing when driving, tones of space(6 ppl in total and all the luggage in the back) navigation on the dash, blindsided censors and everything you said Sr. about the Facebook ppl. We got to our Airbnb place safe.
Thank you for your video. I have an S2 Wagoneer. Completely surprised that power folding side mirrors were not on the list. Given that they have been standard on every Grand Cherokee I have owned previously.
Rented one to go to Florida from South Carolina. It handled itself very well. Sounded really good but was also very tame. Gas mileage was not a problem at all. Id rather the Suburban as far as looks and (my own bias) but I really enjoyed my experience with the wagoneer and so did my passengers. My father in-law is a die hard GM guy and he enjoyed the experience with it as well.
We have a series 2 Wagoneer and almost 35,000 miles. Thank god we have not have any issues. My wife is on a Facebook Wagoneer club and I keep on telling her stop following because some are not even legitimate complaints and all it does is worry her. As far as the gas mileage it’s averaging 20 pan el says 20.5 I’m sure it’s more like(18) City and freeway. But the size and weight it’s about average so no problem. Even some kid size SUV are doing the same gas mileage.
Good to hear some feedback other than those with issues. we have put a few more longer trips on ours now and it’s been solid. Still very happy with ours. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with us!
See for us mechanically its been fantastic and it should be as the hemi and 8 speed are reliable overall when properly maintained. The electrical issues on ours is ridiculous and i am looking at lemon law as we speak. I am a diehard mopar guy but sheesh these 1st gens are riddled with bugs man.
@@robertsoria9293 still minimal issues for us. (Knocking on wood) From what I’ve seen by those who have had issues, it’s been on those with more “bells and whistles”. Ours is not heavily equipped. Perhaps that’s our saving grace?
My parents bought the 2023 grand wagoneer series 3 white paint with black roof with brown interior with the obsidian package and we paid $138,000 for it it’s honestly a little pricey for a jeep but it’s really nice
we are picking up our series 2 today and we are excited. We needed something that would tow 9,000-10,000 its was between the is and the Sequioa. The Wagonner was a much smoother and quiet ride by far.
These are absolutely better than what is out there. Yeah it’s not cheap but the S3 loaded with that McIntosh system is superb. I do like the hemi sound, but that hurricane is a beast.
I have a $10,000 sound system in my Suburban that will blow the Wagoneers sound system off the road. That stereo has made me money because I like it so much I don’t even think of trading the vehicle. Suburban is better than a Wagoneer too in my opinion.
@@jimmycain8669obviously an aftermarket system around 10k would be better in bass for sure. Overall sound and processors would give better clarity. That is one thing aftermarket can’t do unless you’re swapping out absolutely everything and space. I don’t recall aftermarket being able to replicate 19 plus speaker location and imaging. I do wish factory premium audio would have better bass. They depend on from door drivers and a small cheap sub in the back, imo. The cost of the premium audio in a Rolls for the cost was not impressive to me. The Mac system is definitely one of the top three factory systems out there. 👊🏼👊🏼
I have a 2022 Escalade ESV for the family and a 2022 GW Obsidian for my business vehicle. Here are some noted differences and complaints of the GW. The Slade has electric door handle releases with soft closing doors. The GW door handles take a lot of effort to pull open from the outside. Too much effort. The GW has rear window shades and the Slade does not. That is a huge plus for the GW. But why they are manual and not electric is a shame. The 6.4 HEMI in the GW will eat the 6.2 in the Slade alive. The 6.4 is a beast!! And the mileage is basically the same between the two. The electronics in the GW freak out every now and then. If the center stack goes bonkers, I find that holding down the volume knob until it does a reboot seems to solve it. The AC fans in the GW are terrible. It’s way too weak and needs more airflow. That’s a big miss. Way better in the Slade. Night vision in the GW is funny. It is near useless. The Slade works great. Wish the rear glass of the GW opened like on the Slade. It’s a useful feature. The GW seems quieter and the ride is better on highway than the Slade. Only problem in 10k miles I’ve had the GW is occasional software bugs. But as I said, the reboot of the center stack seems to correct it when it happens. Perhaps 1x per month.
Big thanks for the inside information. Ours is not equipped with many of the features yours has . The Grand Wagoneer definitely got a lot more bells and whistles then the base Wagoneer got. Almost apples and oranges. Good to know and see though. Thank you!
@@QuickShifts We have a Ram 1500 Limited for the business. It is the 5.7 and I find it very strong. I imagine in the Wagoneer it would be as well. The 6.4 just has that extra muscle that makes it truly fast. But to be honest, I rarely use all of the 6.4. It’s more than needed really. I love the DT chassis that these trucks sit on. It is really a great vehicle. The Slade can get a bit jiggly over bumps and has more wind noise on highway. The GW never feels out of sort over bumps and it is like a tomb on the highway. I only bought the Slade for the extra length with the kid hauling duties. But really want to trade the Slade for the GW L and get the Turbo I6. Will probably do that in the future. I like the color combo on your Wagoneer in the video. Looks great!
@@Edd0614 the 2022 had the 5.7 available as well as the 6.4. After 2022, the 5.7 was replaced by the new Hurricane motor. I believe the Wagoneers withe the 5.7’s will be sought after in the future because of the proven reliability. Might not be the most powerful, but they don’t fail.
I have a wagoneer with the hurricane engine. No dipstick in engine and on my 3rd set of batteries in 4 months, due to issue with rear entertainment system. It’s been in the shop nearly a total of 60 days in 4 months of ownership.
My complaint is the fuel range only says low fuel after you go below 50 miles. That’s when you need to know how many miles are left. If there is a setting to change that please advise
Great video it is much appreciated. I noticed the GTO in the garage. I have had 2 G8s and now a SS. Hopefully you are a member of the Carolina Holdens group.
I am not at this time. I used to run the local GTO group back in the day up in Ohio. When I moved down south, I handed the controls over to another member. Love my goat. She is my garage queen now.
Got rid of a compass for Wag2 so much better. Remote start takes two tries every time with three honks total. Going to check settings but can’t complain on this car at all. Fingers crossed.
Congrats! The only thing I can think of is that you are trying remote start without the doors locked. They have to be locked for it to work. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Has anyone had issues with the main screen cutting out and going black? Mine does and the left speaker cuts out a lot. Otherwise I love my Wagoneer. I do seem to need to fill up the gas tank more often then I did in my Suburban though.
Great video I have the Wagoneer series one but upgraded Al everything and I absolutely love my truck everything about it . Wish I had the HUD . Love yours . Mine is white as well
I have a Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L Hemi and IT IS very noisy. Not the tail pipe rumble, but the accessory drive agricultural like sounds from under the hood. It sounds very unsophisticated. This is the sound people complain about. You’re going to be shocked at the unreliability of your °|||||°! Just wait, then do a video.
The 5.7l likes to have high octane fuel. It’s been proven that running the cheap stuff causes more noise from pre-detonation and that causes more wear and tear on the internals. It’s time for an update. I’ll get one together for you. 😉👍🏻
I have a 2022 Grand Wagoneer and the AC jumps from 7 down to 2, back and forth. The dealership continues to replace the screens but I don’t think that is the problem.
My lease is up on my 21 WL Limited in July 24. We’re looking to finance a new Wagoneer L series 1 with Towing Package not thrilled it will be a 3.0L turbo 6. I much rather have a 5.7 v8 But that is gone now on the Wagoneer
Honestly I haven’t seen any of these complaints, most I have seen is the rear entertainment system. I been have lots of problems with mine. However I love the hemi sounds.
To my knowledge, it was the series 2 and series 3 that had the air conditioning problems and believe me they are problems as far as the loud problem is it the engine noise or is it the interior noise on the road? I think people are confusing the engine noise with the amount of road noise that you get out of this car for this kind of money as far as the seats go in the back that’s the least of the trouble.
I believe the luxury car scene is used to their Lexus and Mercedes that have very quiet exhaust. If you aren’t familiar with Hemi’s, you can be shocked by the glorious noise that they make. As for road noise, I don’t agree with you. it’s fairly quiet and we have no complaints. Thanks for watching and posting, much appreciated!
I just purchased a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer 2 and found out on the way home that it does NOT have the Auto High-beam headlight option!! I am very sad about that feature 😔😔 Our son has a 2022 Wagoneer 2 which does nor have the feature listed, but was able to use the feature by placing the light position dial on Auto & shift the light handle in the high beam position and it works☺. I tried that and it does not work on my 2024 ☹ Does anyone have any ideas to try? I would Greatly appreciate your ideas. Thank You
you need to go into your infotainment screen. select “Vehicle” on the bottom right of the screen. Next select “settings” on the top right of the screen. Next scroll down to “Lights” on the menu on the left of the screen and click it. In that menu, scroll down to “Auto Dim High Beams” and make sure that is selected. That should turn them on for you if your lights are set to “auto”. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I have a 2023 Series 3. Nothing but regret. The electronics are glitchy, the new uconnect is slow as a turtle. This is nothing but regret. Stellantis can rot in hell for this garbage. I am sure that even a navigator would be more reliable, and that’s a low bar. The app for a 100k machine is absolute garbage, garbage, garbage. My simple so frills 2022 Ram Warlock is more reliable than this thing. The screen blacks out, the audio disappears, the heads up display is missing all features, the dealership has no clue what the flying f..k that car is actually supposed to do because the manufacturer messaging is absolutely deplorable. The AC in the seats is barely noticeable. We traded a 2022 Telluride Night Sky y loaded for something that was almost twice as much with half the options, and of that half, half of those barely work. The Kia app was a work of art compared to the Wagoneer app. Shame is not on the plate for Jeep or a Stellantis. I feel like we got burned. We will likely trade it in at a loss. At this point, a car from the flinstones would likely be more consistently reliable. Stellantis…YOU SUCK! Buyer beware!
Ouch! Can’t say our experience has been the same but had it been, I too would be upset about it. Hope you get it sorted and or successfully move on. Appreciate the feedback on your experience. Thanks for sharing.
Can you give me any ideas to turn on the Auto High beam headlight feature? It does not have any features on my list of items. I have the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer series 2.
My complaint is I want the height to stay where I put it! It automatically lowers when I’m driving and I want to drive with it lifted “I think it looks better lifted” any way I can get it to stay!?
@@QuickShifts will never run an expensive car like this on anything other than premium and advanced synthetic oil. Just gives me peace of mind on engine wear and tear.
I just got an message on my screen saying “check 2nd row latch before driving”…the button to slide and tilt the seat is not working. I’m so upset… BRAND NEW CAR… I feel played. Now have to bring it in to the shop to get repaired.
I don’t have the answers for that. Being a new vehicle and platform, time will tell. I sure hope it last a good while. I’m not up in the rust belt so I’ll likely never have a problem.
1)The AC is an error made in assembly. 2)The seats are a supplier issue. 3)The car isn't loud at all. Must be their fist hemi or V8 or something. 4) The running boards is a supplier issue. 5) check engine lights do to poor quality checks/buggy software.
If you have the navigation widget on your Home Screen or dashboard , it will turn on every time you start the vehicle. That is normal and nothing to worry about.
How’s your car ride with those 22’s ? I have your twin and after putting 1500 miles I notice the 22’s feel everything on the road and sometimes around 35-40 I get a slight vibration
Really happy with them so far. About 2,500 miles in and no issues so far. With the other car a lifted Jeep gladiator on 37s and a GTO on P4s with race suspension, two polar opposites, the Wagoneer is like a cloud in comparison. Vibration like you mention could be an out of balance wheel. Might be worth having the balance checked. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@rpchesson if you want to buy new tires, they balance them when they mount them. Personally, I’d try having them balanced for $20 and see if that works before dropping big bucks on new tires. Just years of experience speaking. To each their own. ;)
Just rented one of these from Enterprise. Got us up to south shore lake tahoe but was dead in the water after sitting out in the low 30 degree temps. Wasn't from leaving ignition or lights on either. Battery had to be fully charged after a 5 hour drive right? Even a 5 minute jump start wouldn't revive it. Read that these have a serious electrical drain coming from possibly the entertainment system or something. Had to Lyft 40 miles to get a replacement since it happened on a Sunday, an absolute nightmare when on vacation with kids waiting and snow all around. Sorry, I know its the last thing Jeep fans want to hear but I know after reading other reviews on this model this is not a one-off thing.
Sorry you had bad luck with a rental. I wouldn’t call this common as I have never heard of this before. Too many factors to take into consideration. Wranglers with the dual battery system for start stop get “stranded” when the smaller start stop battery dies. Poor design there for sure, but have not heard of this on the Wagoneer.
@@TonyBiancoOfficial that’s two now out of over 40,000 units. Or .005% I’m not ready to panic yet. Still no issues with ours yet. Will keep you posted if I do.
Yea I love the rumble of my s3 I’ve had it for about a year now and the only issue I have is it don’t like -50 lmao gat get it running damn push button cars.
Very cool! LOL! Thank you for sharing your experience. Always get the negative posts and people tend to not post the positive. Balance is good, if it exists. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Love me S3 Wagoneer but my liftgate is acting up. It opens just fine but does the 3 beeps when you press the button to close and has to be closed manually. Anyone else having this problem?
Has not anybody ever noticed that the Wagoneer does not say Jeep on it, no emblems, not even on the steering wheel like all Jeeps. Why is that, I want people to know it's a Jeep
There a few subtle Jeeps but you have to search for them. They intended to make it a brand of its own. Don’t know if that is still the plan or not. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Series 2 with 50k miles. Worst car I’ve ever owned. Both heated seats broke. Radio randomly reboots, clicking in dash, battery had to be replaced (it’s a 2022) keyfobs don’t get recognized half the time. Engine and transmission have been ok. Luckily we have the 5.7 because the dealer said the inline 6 engines are horrible. Worst part is neither if the 2 dealers EVER fixed any of the problems except the rattling dash. Never another Stellantis product for us.
And check the glove box, it doesn’t close fully snug. And yes the stitching on panels is horrible. Also the cabin smells like glue still drying. Quality control is poor. Fuck this vehicle. Keeping my diesel Discovery as the quality differences are huge compared to this Waggoner. Too bad, I do like the Waggoner concept but it’s a no go for me.
@@QuickShifts dealer acknowledged the reacuring problems but tried to sell me the grand Waggoner instead. I declined. The series 3 (that was falling apart) was 10K more than my Discovery TD6 HSE at retail and of course the quality is not even comparable. My confidence was lost. Wish you all the best with it. I’ll need luck too, I’m driving a LR!
Bottom line is that Jerp waited too long to get I to the luxury SUV market. I'm shocked that they didn't change that corny name when they brought out their luxury SUV. "WAGONEER" Come on, the truck will never be able to surpass that boring name in the luxury market. That name certainly does not say luxury when spending 100k on a luxury SUV
I find hard to understand that jeep had a clean sheet to build a large SUV and they made one funky looking truck (sorry) inside is great, outside (ewww) the hood looks like it's being pulled away from the front, funny side pillars, it's no Denali
100k for a jeep are we are in crazy town now the company I work for makes transmissions for the jeep compass that car is crap. It was 40k try out some other manufacturers Jeep boys
