The Woobles kits are amazing for learning basics. The videos are so detailed and well put together! Someone with more experience might not enjoy the yarn in the kit as much.

@@AffordablyCrafty The best ones to start with are the Penguin or Chick. The others are just slightly more difficult with like a color change or something.

Hi 👋🏼 I liked the Moose, Lion, Bunny, dinosaur, Penguin, in that order. Really you can’t go wrong with any they are all lovely. But extremely expensive to make only a tiny project. Does she have a favourite animal or colour? Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings 🙏🏼🧶💗🦋😻

My husband bought one of these kits for me and another for our daughter. Yes…they’re pricy, but if you’re new to crochet these are great. They come with yarn, stitch markers, safety eyes and anything else needed. Kits can be purchased with or without a hook as well. The yarn was weird to me but I can see how it would be good for beginners. No splitting or anything. Kits also come with the magic circle already started and then the directions teach you how to do it too. Just as anything else, these won’t be for everyone but I enjoyed it. 😊

My first time crocheting was with a Woobles kit, the penguin one. Really great kit for a beginner, IMO. Yes, I agree it's expensive, but if you have no knowledge of what yarn to get, what hooks to use etc., then this is the way to go as it gives you all the supplies you need.

Just starting off I think the Bunny would be great. I have never done these because of the cost. I saw them once at my local JoAnn but have not seen them in several months. Those pompoms are so neat! I will have to go to the other JoAnn in my area to see if they have a better selection of them. The one I went to about a week ago only had a couple to choose from.

I learned to crochet with Woobles' Pierre the penguin. It was before they switched to non-splitting yarn. They still made it very easy to learn. Quite the gateway drug IMO. From a Woobles to a yarn room in just a few months 🤦‍♀

uh oh, NOOOOO. i asked the store manager and she said they were not excluded ....

@@AffordablyCrafty It's listed under the exclusions list online and my store had a sign up saying the same thing. I tried using a coupon online and it came up as excluded.
