if yah want that hissing/sucking in cold air sound you need turbo first. before you install your racing performance cold air intake. my malibu is a turbo 2.0 turbo version so that's why i didn't need to buy turbo for my car. me and my dad are not explaining cus your intake should have manual instructions and follow thru what my dad did, thank yah for yahs patience guys :)

Yes it sucks in a lot of cold air and it shoots it back out cus my Malibu is a 2.0 turbo version car. Without turbo it wouldn’t do too much

I put the same intake and no codes. Just make sure you also install a catch can.

Nope I didn’t see my engine light come on after the install I test drove it after the install to make sure everything is safe. and ever since then I have not ran into 1 problem

You need an A/C disconnect tool I bought that and still can’t take it off

I have a question is it possible to add a 2.0 air filter intake on a 1.5? I have a 2016 chevy malibu and j wasn't sure if its able to be done or it won't be compatible. Please help guys
