BTS was my gateway to Kpop and will always hold a really special place in my heart, but Seventeen is absolutely my favorite group. They are also the kings of synchronization, which is insane given how many members they have.

Definitely more Seventeen! So I thing with this group is that they debuted in 2015, so they have a lot of content. Their discography is deep. They also are self produced, so they have been able to put out a lot of different sounds and genres. You could probably listen to 10 songs and get a completely different vibe from each one. You have the “fresh teen” sound with songs like Adore U, Pretty U, and Mansae. You have the “dark teen” sound, with songs like Fear and Getting Closer. Songs like Clap and Rock With You, for rock vibes. R&B like tunes: Good to Me, I Don’t Understand But I Love You. You have mind blowing epic productions like Super and Maestro. Home;Run is like a straight up Broadway production. Cheers and Lalali for the hip hop tunes. Basically name whatever genre you’re in the mood for, and Seventeen probably has a song to satisfy you.

Killing Voice will be a great way to get to know more of the members' vocals as well as their discography. SVT (Seventeen) has one of the most diverse discographies in kpop and they are a self-producing group, with Woozi, the Vocal Unit leader as their main producer. You will get lots of comments with many different requests for SVT but anything you watch of theirs will be amazing! For a long time, this was also my favourite Kpop song and is still in my top. Pls watch their Killing Voice. It's a medley of their songs that they sing live. They have some anime vibey songs too. You might love it. Actually nobody, i repeat, NOBODY, has watched their Killing Voice and NOT loved it. They're a really fun group. 😊

They have some of THE MOST difficult choreos in ALL of music performances, and they call as the most synchronization group performance. the theater kids of k-pop & kpop performance powerhouse. if you watch their live performance, you will understand it 13 members is that they ALL can sing, rap and dance. they prove this in some of their live performances. They swap songs, i.e. the Hip Hop team can do the Performance team's most difficult contemporary art dance; the Performance team swap song with the Vocal team also the Hip Hop team can do it, too, they can do all the highest notes. and the Vocal team can rap AND dance as great as the Performance team. For Carets (fandom name), Seventeen is amazing. I know several Carets gave you the meaning behind their name. Allow me to give you a little more info. When in training, there were 17 members, and that is where they got the name. However, during the training period, 4 of them drop out. One of them was, I believe, 12 when he dropped out, but he did become a soloist, his name is Samuel. They didn't want to change the name, so they kept the name but changed the meaning behind it. Seeing how this is a large group, several members are from other countries. Two are from China, which would be Jun and The 8. Yes, his stage name is The 8. Two members are from America. And they would be Joshua from L.A. and Vernon from New York. Vernon sees himself more Korean than American due to the fact that he has lived in Korea longer. He is also the only mixed member, having a Korean father and white mother. A lot of fans call them the best dance group in k Pop. They also write they own songs and produce their own, and one of their members, Hoshi is their choreographer. They are self sustained, not really needing outside help. Don't get me wrong, they have worked with others, but have been known to do it all for themselves One of the reasons why this song reminds you of the Chainsmokers is because it is the Chainsmokers. It is the song Something Like This that you hear. And both the Chainsmokers and Chris Martin are also credited on the song. Keep in mind that you have literally only scratched the surface of k pop. There are a lot of groups you haven't even seen yet. And even though Seventeen is one of the biggest groups, it still isn't the biggest by far. Another male group is the biggest with a total of 26 members. The name of the group is called NCT. They break them up into sub units with the names of NCT U, NCT127, NCT DREAM, WayV (Chinese Unit) and they also have RIIZE, and a final sub unit being added that has been named both NCT Tokyo and NCT Wish. Not sure which name they are going to go with yet. There was supposed to be an NCT Hollywood, but that was scraped. You should check them out as well. NCT U can have as little as two members on a song, and as many as all of them. Which they have done. NCT127 and Dream are the two groups that are the most popular. With 127 having nine fixed members and dream having 7 fixed members, all being the youngest of all of them. You should check them out as well. Seventeen is also known as the theater kids of k pop cause they can do anything, sing, rap, dance, some even act. Even though this is one of my fav songs from them...there is so much more to them, and they have no set sound...it changes with each song and album....they are a truly amazing group.

First I will say that english is not my First language so I am for any mistakes. Seventeen is a group very versatile in its music. They just has a comeback with 4 new songs. One title track for the whole group, one track for each subunits. For Hip-hop unit « Lalali », Performance unit « Spell » and for the vocal unit « Cheers for youth », if you want to know more about their music. They debuted in 2015 so you will find many contents about the group. I would recommend to start with their title tracks, the killing voice on dingo channel and a guide. There is a good guide in 4 parts to learn about the group but it’s quite long. I really love your reaction and I must say that « Don’t wanna cry » is a good song to start. Seventeen is knows for their fun songs and concepts but when they do emotional they do it great. I have listen to kpop since 2008 casually but with BTS and Seventeen I became a kpop Stan. Two other songs by Seventeen that has somewhat of the same vibe is "Home" and "Thanks". They both have mv's, though "Thanks" also has a beautiful choreography video. I also recommend checking out "Rock with you" and "Left & Right" by them.
