Using this for more than 2 months. GTX variant and ran around 3000 km. In love with the feel it gives every-time when I step-in. ADAS I believe is a must have. Only complain is that it’s something not designed for Indian roads and driving style. Once almost got hit from the back due to ADAS emergency stoppage and taking reverse while moving from busy road parking is a big pain. Overall I still rate it 10/10.

I won't agree to the point that it is overpriced. I got a new Seltos 3 weeks back and trust me it justifies its price and there's no 2 way about it. People are buying Fortuner at a whopping price of 50 lakhs which lacks most of the basic features which other cars offers at that price range. Also the overall ownership experience is overwhelming.
No doubt, KIA Seltos is one of the best features rich vehicles in the market. But, the safety features were missing in KIA and Hyundai Creta (best selling SUV in the market). Now the market is changing rapidly, cause customers are looking for safety first, that's why ADAS is so popular. Now, every vehicle should have ADAS (if not advanced lavel in order to maintain the cost). So, customers can choose "Seltos" now, as this vehicle becomes a good package (features + looks + safety).
Hyundai decoded Safety Rating hack, with Verna (5 Star NCAP) now. Hyundai will rule, with this hack in future. The same hack will continue for years from now. SAFETY is a Marketing Gimmick now. Surprisingly, Verna's built quality and sheet metal is bit poor. Well, Sedan do score higher points in crash tests bcz of its body type.
Seriously guys, don't waste that much on cars. Keep a limit like 12 lakhs or 16 lakhs and don't go beyond because the fuel prices are more and the mileage of some brands are very less. It's not worth it also even the resale values are too low. So buy only budget friendly cars with good safety rating and minimum features. ( from personal experience )

Don't misguide people by telling 3 people can ride in comfort. Middle passenger can never be comfortable because of armrest. It is fully hard. High time to get a complete genuine reviewer
Compact SUV's major Safety is bcz of its shape and huge body style. Sheet body is thin, I aggree. But ratings are not perfect for Indian road conditions. Irony is, people compare base models safety rating and ignore top end models, which has better safety tech.

Even ✈️ can’t withstand a crash, and if happen, the chance of survival is 1 in a million, but considered safest way of travel, because the chance of a plane crash is also 1 in a million. So if a car reduces the chances of accidents with a good ADAS, in my opinion it is better then a 5 star safety car with no ADAS, which has higher probability of accidents.
I got New Xline delivered in Pune one month back, extremely happy with it. Have done PPF with the detailing Mafia one week back again good work done there to protect the paint.

Since this is a facelift, I don't think the safety has been increased. Like the verna got 5 stars on the new generation model (not facelift). So, I think Kia seltos will be a 5 star car only when the new generation arrives.
Don't know but kia has press conference on launch they were saying that they have used high strength steel and platform has been maken more stronger than before ( let's wait for ncap)
High possibility of kia getting 5 stars this time, they have given 6 airbags and other safety features from the base variant which symbolize their preparation for it.

Somehow still feel the pre facelift have better looks and could figure out which variant am looking at first glance. With this facelift htx gtx xline hardly any distinguishing factor.
bumpers are most distinct... both rear and front... and alloys are also totally distinct and easily make out it's GT line... red accents are missing and that's not good

I did not like gtx model as whole black/dark inerior so booked htx plus... I wish they have light color interior in gtx also.... Dark interior karke sporty ka tag laga detain hain...

Already booked KIA seltos hope to get it delivered soon. I booked the gtx plus variant but there is gtx plus (S) also which doesn't have a 360 camera and bose speakers. so check out for those while booking.

NA engine is really bad on seltos If you can spend for turbo then really good car. I think unless u can spend 18-19 lakh, dnt even look at it. Elevate vx is 16 on road and has everything GV base itself sufficient
There’s no reason to consider a diesel SUV or a petrol SUV as of now! 2027 is a big threat to diesel - so no diesel! & petrol won’t give you good average at all with such big engines! Hybrid cars are way too expensive! Electric still makes sense but the only problem is choice under a budget! Tiago ev is a small car! Nexon ev has everything but inner space feels congusted - be it front or rear seats! For people who can wait for 2 years with their existing cars as of now, it’s better to hold on until some new ev suv comes in with practicality! Like Xuv 400 has space but lacks a lot of features! Personally speaking, I drive Creta 1.6 diesel with a city average of 18 & highway between 20-21! My car is 6.5 years old & for me to wait 2 years atleast makes sense for a good size ev which will save cost too! What say!
