*Favorite Christmas memory. One year, all my sister and I asked for were tickets to a NKOTB concert. We were so excited and then equally disappointed as the gifts were all unwrapped and still no ticket. There was just one huge box in the back. We opened it reluctantly, sad that it was too big for tickets (silly us) but my mom had wrapped a box in a box in a box and inside were tickets to a show. They were nosebleed seats, but we couldn't care less. We cried lol - it was my favorite Christmas gift ever :)
I was born with a seizure disorder in 1983, it wasn't until 2004 in Chicago, technology had new updated tests to find out why I kept having seizures and no medicine ever helped, they seen i had the left temporal lope developed wrong before birth, it was December 4th of 2005 I went in Loyola medical center for 2 brain operations to remove the damaged area, 50/50 chance of survival. It ended up being the most serious operation of 2005 but also the most successful as I left on Christmas day to go home. I had 3 seizures in the next few years, but seizure free going on 9 years now. That is a life changing christmas memory I'm thankful for every day the rest of my life.
My favorite Christmas memory is from 2002. My grandma had passed away that year, and for Christmas, my Grandpa gave me a photo album she had made for me throughout the years. Her writing is still in it. "You can never say you weren't loved. I love you!" To this day, it's my most prized possession.
My favorite Christmas memory is cutting out, baking, no decorating cookies with my cousins and putting on a play of the Christmas story from the Bible. I was ways the angel!
Been a fan since the 80's, saw the Magic Summer Tour, then made a fan of my soon to be wife and went to 3 shows on "the Block" tour in '08 (front row in Philly) now we are happily married with a daughter and I just watched my daughter at 16 months dance to this song. Thank you NKOTB!
Back in 1991 traveling up to Eagle River, WI for Sledding and to receive my snowmobile license just after Christmas and Out of the blue while watching a Movie the program director plays This One's For The Children Video with NKOTB. I was So happy that I thought it was a dream. The next day I passed my Snowmobile and ATV test with 100% on the first try and got my license. I was the only one in my class to pass the first time around.
My favorite Christmas memory was when my Dad bought my Mom a karaoke machine, and the family and several friends came over that evening. We all spent hours just taking turns singing, laughing and goofing off. :)
I absolutely love love this song!! I'm 42 years old and I have been a block head since day one.... I have watched u guys grow up into fine gentleman!! I will always be ur biggest fan!!
Wicket, (avi)my first puppy, was my gift way back in 2001. He always loved Christmas and could find his presents under the tree and open them. Later, he would help all 3 of my girls and his dog brother open their presents until everything was unwrapped. We lost him last year, beautiful memories ❤️
My favorite Christmas memory is going to the tree farm and picking out the perfect tree and cutting it down ourselves. This is a tradition that my hubby and I continue each year with our girl's!
My favorite Christmas memory is of my family singing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve. My PawPaw would come in dressed as Santa, and hand out presents to all the grandchildren. Back then there was only 18 of us from 9 kids. Now there is 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. ❤️ #Unwrapped #NKOTB ❤️ Merry Christmas!
Favorite Christmas memories were when I used to direct the children’s nativity at my childhood church. My son was baby Jesus at 3 months old and the little drummer boy at 4 years old.
Best Christmas memory...when mom was still here, we had more of a Christmas with friends we consider family than with actual family, me and my sister still call it best Christmas ever! This was back before flat screen tv's, and calie bought mom a big honking tv with the DVD and video cassette player built in...I remember she was so happy she cried...a house full of friends we called family, and mom still here, that was the best Christmas ever!
My favorite Christmas memory is making breakfast together as a family. Scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, and orange juice! Every single year. It's my favorite meal of the year 💚
My whole family would get together on Christmas Eve and then again for dinner (lunch) on Christmas Day. With so many family members gone and others who’ve moved away, I miss those days and cherish the memories.
My favorite Christmas memory: Christmas mornings with my boys, my sister, my mom and dad over to enjoy the family time. My father is no longer here, and the boys are pretty grown, so it’s the memories I cling to.
My favourite Christmas memory is ... when I was little my step father( he was a country singer in a bar) ... he would sing my older sister and I to sleep ... (we were so excited for Santa)didn’t exactly help but he tried.
My favorite Christmas time memory is always seeing my kids faces when they wake up on Christmas morning. They are grown now, but they still come home for Christmas and they have those same smiles.
My favorite Christmas memory was when I was 9 yo. Woke up Christmas morning to three 10 speed bikes on our porch for my siblings and I. My parents couldn’t afford something “that” expensive and to this day, we have no idea who the generous soul was. We believe a family friend but talk about making a Christmas morning special for 3 kids. ♥️🎄
My favorite memory is from 2013 and was my first Christmas as a wife. It was going to be my first Christmas not spending it with my family and my new husband surprised me by decorating the downstairs of our town home to look like my moms house and woke me up at 6:30 to show me all that he had done to make the day a bit easier! So #thankful for him and for y’all! ❤️
Due to drug addiction and many stays in and out of correctional facilities over a period of more years than I care to mention I haven't had any Christmas memories to speak of that is until I met the family I live with now. This woman and her child quickly took over my heart and have since become my family that I love more than anything in the whole world! I quit doing drugs almost immediately upon moving in with them and for a few years now I have had the best Christmases ever! I owe my life to them and would do anything in the world to make them happy even if she does love NKOB LOL! So to the New Kids I say thank you! You guys make My Torry Happy and that makes me happy! No matter how ridiculous I think you are LOL! So you guys rock on and keep making my best friend happy and I guess that makes me a fan Too! But I'll never admit it HAHA!
This made me tear up, literally!! Don't give up. Stay strong and keep fighting for your life. Congrats on all you've accomplished already. NKOTB fans are a family. You are now part of that family and we got your back! Have an amazing Christmas!
This is an amazing story! Be proud of yourself! And sometimes it just takes the love of a woman to set us on a better path. Congrats and Merry Christmas!
One of my favorite Christmas memories, 1988, coming down the stairs to find a large stuffed bunny and a large stuffed bear under the tree. They became Jordan and Donnie. 29 years later they are my life long friends!
My last Christmas with my dad, he had beat cancer once, and it came back during the holiday season we knew it was our last with him so we did it up like no other year he laughed thru pain he smile was everything
My favorite Christmas memories are when I was a child growing up in the 80's and when we would open our presents on Christmas Eve. After "Santa" would deliver them upstairs in my attic my Mom would go up to the attic and bring down our toys in a huge box Santa left for me and my 2 brothers. I remember opening my Barbies and Strawberry Shortcake dolls and older brother opening his Star Wars toys and my younger brother opening his toys. I will never forget those memories. -Renee Straight
My favorite memory is all of us grandkids (13) sittting around my grandparent's small living room with our brown paper bags ready to open presents. We always managed to squeeze at least 5 of us on the sofa and 2 in the recliner!
Some of my favorite Christmas memories were when my little sister (10 yrs younger) still believed in Santa and seeing how her eyes lit up coming down the stairs in the morning seeing the "Christmas magic"
My favorite Christmas memory was sleeping over at my grandparent’s house on Christmas Eve. The smell of a real Christmas tree will always remind me of that!
I'm 46 but I love N K O T B ever since I was Nine This is Jesse Ann Palmer I was hoping on getting a Ticket to their Concert i wanted that for Christmas I will get one this year
My favorite Christmas memory was 1990 getting the Step by Step cassette and a little red boom box to play it, I was 8. I listened to that tape nonstop for weeks. I don’t remember ever being more excited about a Christmas gift. I got a bunch of other New Kid paraphernalia that year but that tape was everything.
When step by step came out I got that for my birthday along with a boom box. I was 12 it was the best birthday present from my parents I took that thing every where with me. The minute I heard new kids on the block I was a lifetime fan. Still love them and I'm almost 40. The new kids will always have a place in my heart can't wait until they go on your again cause I'm going to see them.
Yep! I remember. I was the coolest kid because of that tape, even more popular and I already was back then because I got that VHS album! It was a bday gift for me, given to me by my older sister, who also liked the new kids -and it was cool because Jordan and Jon both brothers in the band, me and my oldest sister- both like New Kids, she's the one who bought me that with her paycheck from her first job. Memories
My favorite Christmas memory is when my cousin was hiding sleigh bells behind his back and ringing them...all of us young kids thought Santa was flying above the house!! I loved it!! #NKOTBUNWRAPPED THANK YOU FOR encouraging me to reminece and remember this. I love you
My favorite Christmas memory would have to be the last Christmas I got to spend with my Grandparents back in 1998. Who would have known that they both would have passed away in 99?! Having them come over to the house (which was next door), watching us kiddos open up our gifts, then going over to their house for the remainder of the day, enjoying all the stories, laughs, and love from them!
My favorite Christmas memory is the Christmas Eve gathering my family would have every year when I was little. We would all be together talking, laughing, eating, opening presents, and watching the annual Christmas parade. Best Christmas memory ever!
Favorite Christmas memory.....waking up to find magical reindeer footprints (glitter) & hoof prints (cocoa) on the porch & throughout the living room. My mom rules 💗
My favorite Christmas memory is the last Christmas I spent with my dad before he passed away. It was also my oldest child's Christmas and I am thankful they were able to spend it together.
Christmas 2003..my then boyfriend of 4 months bought me the first nkotb CD. I had been asking for it for years. I have loved nkotb since i was 8 years old and never got the first CD to complete my collection. So when he told me how he was then going crazy trying to find me this CD i knew I was gonna marry him. 14 years later and he still supports my nkotb obession.
My favorite Christmas memory is Christmas Eve during my childhood. We all gathered at my maternal grandparents house. All of us cousins were close in age. In between the feast of the fishes courses, we would watch Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (this was old school days with Mr. Hooper) and we would try to guess what the family gifts were under the tree. Then right before midnight, Santa Claus would come into my grandparents house, give each of us these huge candy canes, ask us what we wished for and we would take photos with him. When he left we exchanged gifts. Then we went home and went to bed so Santa can work his magic in our own homes. It was every child’s dream, and I lived it every Christmas Eve. #Thankful so very #Thankful
My favorite Christmas memory would be as a kid on Christmas Eve sleeping in the same bed with my little sister watching movies. We were so excited for Santa that we could hardly sleep. Oh to be a kid again.
My favorite Christmas memory is... the next one. The best gift is being able to make new memories with family and friends. My family and friends get together every Christmas/ChristmasEve. We share a meal together. We share stories. We enjoy each others company. And now I have a Godchild who is experiencing Christmas memories for the first time. It's magical to watch a child's excitement and awe as they begin to understand the holiday. Yes, my favorite Christmas memory is the chance to make new wonderful memories.
Christmas 1990 was NK Christmas: sheets, blanket, dolls, walkman, night gown, buttons & 3wks prior concert, crazy fun & so excited i’ll never forget it
Fave Christmas memory, giving my dad a signed autograph from his idol, a famous war pilot, that I was able to have personalized for him! The guy was in his 90s! My dad was so stunned!
My favorite Christmas Memory was seeing the smile on my 14 year old nieces face last year when I gave her front row vip tickets to see all of you at Nassau Coliseum. Her reaction was priceless. Be proud of yourselfs you bring so much happiness and joy to so many people. Thank you
My favorite Christmas memories are all about family--wrapping presents with my cousins, making cookies with my mom, playing with new toys with my brother, enjoying all the Christmas lights my dad put up around the house.
My fave Christmas memory is trying to stay awake for Santa. But without fail we always fell asleep in the hallway. That of course is second to my kids’ first Christmas. ❤️🎄
my favorite christmas time memory is decorating the tree with my mother who passed away in august. We always made soft sugar cookies and decorated the tree. one of my favorite things.
Last year 2016. My Favorite memory. My grandsons 1st. Christmas. My only son, with his son. Proud mom and grandma. Just love that little guy. My two boys:)
My favorite Christmas moments is last year when I got to tell my aunts that I got tickets to see New Kids On The Block. It was their first NKOTB concert
My fav Christmas memory when I was a kid was a New Kids Christmas. It was complete with a cardboard cutout of the guys, New Kids sheets, a Danny Wood puzzle, a hat like Donnie use to wear, and concert tickets!
Favorite memory: my last Christmas with my mom, 2013. She was fighting cancer, but for a moment, me, my mom, my sisters and niece and nephews were just enjoying the holiday. During that time, we also had hope she would beat it, that she's had a chance. A chance that was not to be, but at least for that moment, it was a great Christmas.
My favorite Christmas memory is last Christmas. Who would have known it would be the last with a relative. He was larger than life and a patriarch to our family. I miss him dearly as my entire family does. He was the host last Christmas and it was one amazing party.
My favorite Christmas memory is from 6 years ago. It didn't happen on Christmas Day, but a few weeks before. I met a guy and our first date was to see the giant Christmas tree. He didn't know that it was one of my favorite things to do. There is just something magical about all the lights and love this time of year. That man is now my husband 😍 🎄
I remember last year when my dad came to pick me up during the holidays that he had "This One's For The Children" playing in his car when I got in - on a Christmas CD he had bought for himself (!)...he knew it would put a smile on my face
My favorite Christmas memory is baking Christmas cookies with my son and daughter and then driving around as a family looking at lights on Christmas Eve ❤️
Favorite Christmas memory thus far had to be the year we had nothing. Literally, living in a borrowed home, unemployed, no car, no one within 30 minutes from us, no cable and no money. We baked homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies and looked at our Charlie Brown style Christmas tree. Our daughter was 6 months old and all we had was hope. It was my husband, brother in law, myself and a baby and we were only 21. Listening to baby giggles and Christmas music and dreaming about our futures and goals. It was my favorite year so far. We had nothing but one another, but we're rich in love.
Christmas vacation in Germany with my family, my best friend, and her husband. On the lake in Tegernsee....the Christmas markets, Glühwein, snow, and some of my favorite people. We had the most amazing Christmas that year.
My favorite memories happen every year. Just following our annualntraditiins with my 4 kids. The 3 gifts on Christmas Eve- Pjs, an ornament, and a book, and the kids handing hitbthe gifts they chose for each other and us. Reading Twas the Night before Christmas a few others, leaving cookies and Carrots out for Santa and the reindeer. This year will. E bittersweet because it's our sons last one in HS. He goes off to college next Fall so we know in the next few years he may stop wanting to come home. I am savoring every moment ❤
My favorite Christmas memories involve my kiddos and I taking a picture in front of the tree every Christmas Eve. They hate it because it always takes multiple shots to get a good one. But one day they'll look back and be thankful that I made them do it.
Favorite Christmas memory: It snowed on Christmas Eve 2004 in south Texas!!! Victoria got 10 inches, very rare to have snow at all. It was beautiful and magical.
I have 2 favorite Christmas memories. Christmas 2003 was the last day I ever saw my Dad alive. I will never forget the joy he had on his face that day. He passed in March 2004 I was living in another state. Christmas is sometimes hard because of this but now my 3 kids funny pajamas on Christmas eve and anticipation for Santa are my favorite!
My favorite Christmas memories are the Christmas' I still had my mom. Not one in particular, all of them. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Her presence alone made it special. What I would give for one more with her.
My favorite Christmas memory is when all the Family would get together to cook dinner and make cooies together. That doesn't happen much anymore now that Mom is up in heaven but I enjoyed it so much when I was a kid it was so much fun. Love the new song. Have been a fan since day 1.
My favorite Christmas memory was spending the holiday in Disney World with my parents, brother, cousins, aunt, uncle, mom-mom, and pop-pop when I was 5 years old. We had so much fun and created so many amazing memories together that I cherish with every ounce of my heart. I am so thankful for my family!
My favorite Christmas memories are from spending time in California with my great grandparents when they were alive. There’s nothing more magical then going to Disneyland on Christmas Day with your family!
