I am fairly end game and still use fellhound as my campaign farmer. Considering you don't need multiple hounds but only one for all of the additional abilities on Shy'eks skills I will just go for the fragment collection. Especially when we get a great new hound alongside him his kit seems really good already with turnmeter boost and aoe place block buffs (cannot weak hit) plus no cooldown hex on hit passive is really great for hydra (no matter whether it can be resisted or not - but even better if not). Worst case he is worth 500 Champion Chase points or 30k CvC Points.
I might go for this fusion with the hope that the next login champ will be the dog. If it's a pay wall dog (120 voids, etc...) I'll be a little peeved.
@@TumultuousTurmoil Yeah, he looks like a decent champ on his own, but I'd be a little disappointed if the new hound is a deck of fate, tournament or a shard event.
For something like this, they should have released a few epic and rare dogs first. That way we can imagine the true potential for this guy rather than putting in the resources hoping they add a cool dog champ or 2 we can actually get
Usually they make spenders pay first and patience plays afterwards, but it's always about the spenders. Fusions dont interest them money wise, they do it for the fun(not so much nowadays) and f2players. If spenders see any champ true cheese potential straight away of course they would more likely do the fusion instead of spending on shards later when he shows up in higher chance events.
the potential is insane for early game as they said, this champ will help early gamers, and end gamers can try pvp or hydra with him bro puts a taunt on himself, and when he's attacked the hounds all counterattack, his waveclear is insane
This fusion champ will be AWESOME. His kit alone is insane. Put him on a speed team and make him use his taunt along with 50% health shield. Every enemy that hits the champ (forced to attack him!) will get mauled by the hounds. Insane set. Definitely going for him. Plarium will release a broken legendary hound shortly thereafter along with additional epic hounds as well.
we get drunk other days, the 4th is just when we throw low grade explosives into the mix also, am i crazy to think this guy plus fellhound could be decent for hydra? got a 6 star fellhound so im thinking about swapping him to that blessing that upgrades debuffs and putting him in a provoke set. then he covers decrease speed and provoke in addition to what the beast master brings im betting the hinted hound is gonna be something hard to obtain, so either a mythical or a faction unity champ ill definitely be going for him. maybe not the strongest with the current assortment but does have the potential to enable some fun comps
Hey HH,why can't players use the frags as they choose to for Highmother Maud. Summon on of the epic Slixus. Now I am unable to use the rest for drop chests. Any real reason why this is can't use as a ayer chooses?
For hydra pair him with hound that has decrease speed on the A1 turn off the a2 and the hound other abilities now you got hex decrease and block both for hydra and a hard hitting ally attack champ
The small decrease speed could be made into the BIG decrease speed with one of the new awakenings and you would technically have a perpetual speed down on hydra which is NOT a joke.
Current kit is interesting but not enough for me. The thought of a future hound-themed Leggo to be teamed up with him though...why do I keep thinking of Sandor Clegane lol
The experimenter in me is curious about this one. Im thinking he may be good in the arena with fellhounds aoe attack and the attack he has with hellfang.
I'm thinking pairing him with two or three Fellhounds equipped with Stun sets will cheese a lot of content. And yeah, I'm betting that there will be at least one new Epic or Legendary beast being released in the same patch. I think I will go for him.
Maybe the clan boss besides of the current hydra is a demonic dog from hell I mean think about it is called void or other word means hell which means it is like mithrala that can be farmed but it is legendary doggy
I will probably go for this guy because with just some form of cooldown reduction in the team and one hound he could make for a taunt loop champion like emic also I hope plarium is smart and brings in an epic hound champ and another rare hound champ for this fusion and make it old school but bring the existing hounds as part of the fusion so this guy can be fused from the pack he can now command
Hmmm. Pack master with two hellhounds in control sets with the new nature blessing for the better decrease speed debuff. Reflect damage is a bit lackluster, but with all three having it plus the ally attack mechanic, AOE attackers might cause opposing teams some headaches.
Put the hounds with AOE A1 attacks in 6 piece Slayer and 100% crit rate. Then include Androc with his passive that gives 5% turn meter for each crit hit.
Fellhound enough seems sufficient to make this a useful champ. Think about how Mikage/Oboro works - but you can use more than one - throw provoke on one, maybe hex on another...lousy rare stats are the worry though. :(
I would love to try Packmaster with a Fahrakin and the rest Hounds. 🤔 Fahrakin's Beatdown Procing the pack and Packmaster who would then proc the Hounds again!! 🤗
The last time we had a meme champ as a fusion it was Skull-lord Vargall who is one of the most fun champs in the game. even if it is not a good strat I will be going for this champ simply for the memes
His A2 is actually pretty broken for hydra infinity comp, because the taunt is 100% protected. Its on a 3 trun cd, so with 2 painkeepers you have an easy 100% failsave infinity comp and you dont even need res on him, because all his buffs are protected anyways... Combined with his other abilities that a top tier hydra team that can be centered arround him.
They’d have to tweek him personally anytime they add more hounds…? Right? Cause as of now, the hounds listed In his kit are the only ones that would be triggered to attack.
Why is no one talking about this guy for Spider 10 Hard?! How cool would it be to put him with 4 Felhounds all with 0 speed, full damage, he opens with Taunt, then watch the Felhounds melt everyone with AOE attacks every time he is attacked. Kind of goofy, but could be fun.
Also I’m thinking it’s gonna be along the lines of narses and white queen ones a fusion and the other is a void guaranteed. So unless you are packing a couple hundred voids idk about this fusion

Definitely a FOMO bait champ... It's tricky as a low spender because im not sure if he'd be worth it Not sure I want to fall for it, even though he could be good, especially with any future hound released hounds
Im thinking it out right now! double painkeeper. brings unblockable block buffs. brings reflect damage nad a taunt. brings hex. i could make my emic trunda team a harder difficulty for the clash points and use this team for easy.

I can't roll my eyes hard enough at the tactics of "there's no good hounds to pair with him now, but we MIGHT release one later". Plarium would sell their mothers into slavery for a few bucks.
I'm not sure, this already looks ridiculous. Get 3-4 fellhounds. All in stun set. Make him super fast and keep attacking so all fellhounds join in and AoE stun everyone every turn.

even if that is true, it wouldnt make this fusion any better as they aren't named in his kit and Plarium isn't in the habit of adding things to champions after official release.
No they said he's on the lookout for hounds to add to his pack. 1 epic inbound , 1 void leggo. Any new champ will need pack leader explicitly called out in their skill text or they won't synergize. Rtfc dude.
I think it’s a bit unfair them baiting us like this, if I go for it, the new dog will be awful, if i don’t go for it the new dog will be a log in void legendary and the next meta
Sidenote. SInce the fusion starts on the 4 and the clan wars are coming on the 10, plarium has timed it so that the helper bricks halfway through the fusion and i trust Plarium enough for this to be fully intentional. Also a second PR CvC just before the fusion.
Im 1000% going for him, he just seems to be the funniest champ in the game. I really hope plarmy do more champs like him in the future, like imagine one that have sinergy with skeletons?
When they first announced ultimate Deathknight. I thought he would have some type of ability that synergizes with other Skeleton champs. Sadly that didn't happen, but you have reignited my hope for this.
They can do some crazy champs if they want. Imagine a Lego champ that synergies with common champs. Lego boosts all stats by 150% 😂. A champ that debuffs confusion so the champ must a1 anyone randomly including teammates.
I’m not impressed. They’re gonna release a hound void leggo that only .01% of the player base is gonna get and forget about him completely. Look at skull lord vall, his passive with skullsworn is useless. It’s very rare for Plarium to let a f2p champ plus rares just be OP.
Me personally wouldn't go for this champ (because I'd have to build other champs just to get a use out of him and them), but I am genuinely intrigued to see the content that will be created based on this champion in the future.
Definitely going for him. After skipping the last fusion, I am to the brim in resources. And even though his kit is not Earth shaking, it is pretty cool and unique. With the current state of dogs, he's just a fun champ. Maybe not breaking into any of my teams but fun to play with. If they release some awesome dog, then who knows. Maybe he becomes a meta hydra champ. Definitely worth going for. I think he's pretty cool. Can't wait to play around with him.
Packmaster, one of the hounds, and a Pain Keeper makes 1/2 of a Hydra taunt loop team. You don’t have to use protection pieces to keep the taunt buff since it can’t be stolen.
I'll go for him just to have him just for the uniqueness. If they said they wouldn't add things I probably would not. Even if he isn't useful now don't mind stashing for later if he isn't. Skipped last fusion tho, so makes the decision easier.
I am already looking at passing this one. Looks like something I wouldn’t mind getting from a shard pull but not worth the localization of a hound team that doesn’t currently have a good mix for end game content. Was hopefully for something specialized in the new clan wars set up. Like a general etc that is specific for it.
Taunt on him, hex/reflect dmg + his HP and with taunt you have to attack the master and after that all hounds go for you. Its very interesting, might be a Bomb, might be a bust, depending on how good gear you have to put on those hounds.
Between the drunk comments and the dog comments, I can't get past this guys kit: A1 is a 1 hitter with dogs. Is that it? Why can't the dogs use the skill that causes the most damage? Not their A1...You might be able to team up Lady Mikage/Long Beard/Fat man and do Ally Attack hits in PVE... A2 Removes debuffs, Taunt and reflect damage. Very defensive but no hits to the enemy team. A3 25% Turn meter fill and block buffs on all enemies. Irresistible if 1 dog on the team. Passive, applies Hex (if placed) dogs will counter attack. This shit won't fly in GOLD 5 Arena or Live Arena, Monkey or Armanz will sheep them and your nuker will clean him out. 1 hit from Taras teams or Narses it's all done. You might be able to use this in HYDRA with a few ally attack people but who's going to develop those RARE dogs? He needs to shine on his own as well and not rely on the dogs so much he should be a Pack Leader, not a Dog walker. It's also pretty garbage in Doom Tower. I don't know- maybe a hard pass. Maybe a PVE dude. Even if I got him as a free login champ I don't think I'd build him. I also asked Plarium to make the next Fusion a void one. These guys never listen. God damn it!
Ally Attack on A1. Counter upon Attacked. Taunts to be targetted over the dogs. Reflect Damage. 3 Fellhounds and this dude should be DISGUSTING damage, considering you can make Fellhound hit Hard on A1. Just immagine.
Man this hero is BROKEN !!! Him, Hellfang and Hound Spawn vs Hydra. Shield that cant be stolen or removed, TAUNT that cant be stolen or removed, so you dont need resistance, Block buffs that cant be resisted you dont need acc. Guess you need acc for Hex, and than unleash the dogs with AOE A1 to smack. Taunt is 2 turn on 3 turn CD so you need some CD refresh but can be fun to build a team around him.
Quick story with no relevance, except a bit of relevance. Former Royal Marine, we (my old school brethren) burnt down the White House. Doing a joint ex with USMC and met the old school lady Gaga in Atlantic city (like 2009 or something) we were not allowed in to a beach front bar because we were hammered. The A2 is pretty good hydra ability also, imo You can build around Emic's A3 his 2 turn taunt is on a 4turn CD This guy - sure the cleanse/heal etc is a selfish skill - but his A2 looks like it books down to 3 turn? He gets a 2turn taunt on a 3turn CD and it can be protected? Meaning mischief cant 3% him.... Seems like he COULD be a better taunt loop champ then Emic @hellhades
Im pretty sure,that the Packmaster isnt liking 4th of July with all the fireworks going off and scaring his pack. :] Pulled a Legendary with 20 shards from this event and got a double with the last double event this week,so im sitting on 3 lvl1 Legendaries. :D

Easy pass. The two hound team have dumb affinities. Fellhound, you'd have to build one specifically for this. That statement they made at the end, fuck off. You know it won't be accessible. It's gonna be some legendary placed behind a paywall. Dude's kit ain't no good, so whatever new hound they drop, that champ will be insane. Calling it now. Second skip in a row for me.
I built the Hellfang/Hound Spawn duo a couple years ago for fun and still use them in some DT secret rooms; also I use Fellhound as campaign farmer. Terrorbeast is just awful imo. Never built one. I could build a hydra team revolving around him and the dogs, but sadly no hydra heads can be frozen, which makes Hellfang/Hound Spawn duo pretty useless there. One Fellhound on provoke set and another one on curse set could be very interesting though.
So, I'm no expert -but I think you might be underselling this slightly even with the current champs. We assume for a second their capping the silliness of certain attacks in Hydra, you can still use Wixwell to make a team with unending shields, and someone on the upper end with say Mikage and Lydia you have Wixwell doing his thing, Mikage to buff extend and ally attack with an increase attack and crit damage, Lydia for weaken and decrease DEF (so you don't care about this guys ACC as much other than maybe his passive) as well as increase speed and strengthen, as well as attacks when the one head tosses out fear, with an option for block buffs and poison sensitivity on the heads it works on, another buff extender, this guy - who because of his selfish nature can become your mischief tank so build him in RES, throw in a Fellhound so that his buffs can't be stolen by a fluke and he can block buffs with no ACC that brings in a 15% damage reflect for the whole team (besides this guy who has his 30), decrease speed, a AoE heal (maybe help pad the shield growth rate) and if you don't turn it off and set it up to likely default to this guy a block damage for a turn - and if the Hex's land Fell hound will be constantly doing it's AoE while also doing it every time this guy does his A1. I think even without whatever new champs might be in the pipeline - there may be potential for some silly teams that do serious work.
My very first epic was Terrorbeast and I still have him. All doggo, good doggo. His self full heal on kills was crazy powerful when I started and had no actual healer beyond warpriest. I get this one isn't crazy OP, but I love the concept.
