Fun related fact that the listener could suggest as an alternative: English monarchs in the 1500s would use royal progresses (visits to nobles, staying at their homes) as a way to bankrupt nobles they hated! Nobles couldn't afford to sustain the royal household and all of their staff in the long-term, so staying a *bit* too long was a great way of emptying the coffers of annoying nobles. And in this situation, it'd be a lovely form of malicious compliance!

Yo, the villainous monarch is back! I was wondering what these two unlikely rulers were up to lately (especially after what happened to the previous king last time). Its interesting to hear how the aristocracy still tries to undermind the authority of someone just because they see the guy as "lower class", even if he does now hold the title of King. With how the last two threats towards his position were handled, it makes me wonder what potential plan(s) he has to take care of this next form of disrespect towards him. Not to mention, I also still flipping adore how he treats his partner so well, even when he is "seething" (as he puts it). All in all, wonderful job as always, Nomad! I'm so excited to find out what else is in store for this year!
