Amazingly the Disney lawsuit thing is true - they’re arguing that because he signed up for a one month Disney+ trial in 2019 & agreed to the terms he waived the right to take Disney to court for anything in perpetuity, as the Disney+ terms say any disagreement with Disney has to be resolved by arbitration rather than in court 😅
So I know alot of people didn't like the 1st season of RoP. Myself included. However, I recently rewatched it and enjoyed it alot more. It's a television show so it's gonna have it's issues but overall I thought it was good. And am excited for s2. The best part is getting to see the younger characters from the LoTR. Only I wish they would casted elrond better. That dude doesn't convey the same presence that Hugo weaving did.
The statement from John regarding the treatment of Hulk was spot on. That is an incredibly intelligent, reasonable, and mature attitude looking forward at enjoying whatever the MCU has in store.
Sony really should do what the “Dark Universe” did. They started out trying for some big, mcu-style connected universe, got way ahead of themselves and flopped, so they adjusted and just did fully self-contained movies
Agreed. Build up from what works instead of assuming they have what it takes to interconnect before even having scripts and competent directors attached.
John has tried having someone introduce the topics a couple of times, to improve the flow of the show, but he probably realizes later that he’s paying someone to just read the topics, something that he could easily do
Was it confirmed confirmed? I seen some random people on Twitter say a new Iron Fist will appear or Colleen. I think that's her name. Its been a while. That character may show up as well. Or maybe it was only her. Point is, if either is confirmed. Awesome.
For the very reasons you outlined I completely have no problem with Peacemaker S2 coming out 3y+ after S1. Rebooting the universe and changing leadership is the completely valid excuse unlike the many other shows that have 3-5 years between seasons for no reason other than streamers waiting to see after S1 to try to write, schedule and shoot another season. And with Mike Colter, I'd happily take a Heroes for Hire mini-series with Luke, Danny, Misty and Colleen. If there are any I for sure want to reprise their roles its Colter and Henwick. I"d also take Daughters of the Dragon with Luke supporting and the Iron Fist mantle being passed to Swordmaster or something from Colleen.
Maybe Luke Cage can be introduced in The upcoming Avengers movie, when Sam starts to rebuild the new Avengers. He should have been in the upcoming Thunderbolts movie.
I would love to see Luke Cage & Iron Fist return. Them plus Daredevil & and all their supporting cast (Misty Knight, Colleen Wing etc), these are movie-worthy franchises in my eyes. The casting of all the characters is pretty spot on as well, they just happened to be in bad shows. Minus the poor writing, seemed like a lot of the issues with the Iron Fist character had to do with budget constraints. I've always loved him and Luke Cage in the comics
I think all the characters were dope. Aside from Iron Fist. I did not care for him. No offense to the actor. I don't think it's his fault it was meh to me. Maybe with better material and time he's got better. I loved the actress who played Misty. Colleen was great. Of course Luke Cage was lovely. Would love to see more of him. But the main one who should be back. Kristen Ritter. Her Jessica Jones is basically perfect in my eyes.
I like Iron Fist in the comics. What I didn’t like in the Netflix show was how Emo the character was which drove me enough to dislike the character in the show.
Maybe John wasn't having a good day, but I felt like sometimes he was a bit harsh towards some of the viewers who sent in questions. And it also felt like he was rushing through the questions. He couldn't wait to say "all right what's next?". That's a constructive criticism, to any of you who may wonder why I'm writing this. I think he could be more level headed and take a little longer on some questions. At least that's my take on it. I've been watching for years, btw.
Tbf to him, he was coughing a lot so he was probably already frustrated with that. But some of those questions were wild. Like no disrespect, but it’s well known by this point he doesn’t like answering wildly speculative questions. And that Man of Steel/James Cameron question was a good laugh.
The trailer for kraven is amazing but once again Sony is producing this. I have zero faith in this movie hopefully this one is different. I am going to watch it but this is Sony absolute last chance at spider verse movie if this one bombs nobody going to care anymore
Peacemaker season 2 will come in 2025 no way it will be in 2026. They are shooting it now, still have about 2 more months. This will come out by Fall 2025 for sure. I have friend who is working on it currently there isn’t nearly as many visual effects as the first season.
Hey, that's cool. It's all subjective. I didn't love him. But didn't absolutely hate him either. I'd be okay if he came back. Better writing and maybe a better actor later on. So, if he came back I'd be cool with it. Colleen and Misty were spectacular. Love to see them back. But most importantly. Kristen Ritter as Jessica Jones was perfect.
Id like Krysten Ritter back as Jessica more than anyone. She was perfect in my eyes. And Id like to see Mike back as Luke. No issues whatsoever if it happened. Same with Misty and Colleen. When it comes to Kraven. I dont want it to suck or fail. Thats absurd. But Morbius and Web have really soured Sony. Yes, I reqlly like Venom 1 and 2. And hyped for 3. And love the Spiderverse. So, I know they can make a decent film. I just cant get too excited for Kraven. Maybe it will change if some of the early reviews say for me to update my position.
So another key factor to if Kraven makes even a dollar... is Venom 3... if Venom 3 is as bad or worse than 2... pack Kraven up send it to streaming... I have A-List and I didn't bother wasting my time w/ Madam Web or Morbius... I probably won't go see Venom 3 unless I hear the reviews are real good... and Kraven... Idk man I just don't have faith in Sony to make decent Spider-Man adjacent movies.
