I have been using Miss Clairol Root Touch-up FOR YEARS now. I’ve mixed two boxes of 5g or mixed 1 5g and 1 6g together for a more accurate color and I use it about every 6 weeks give or take a week, in between my color and weaves and it works great!!!! Never had a problem. I was contemplating giving L’Oréal Magic Root Rescue but so far I haven’t seen any reviews on it that convince me to switch. My only complaint about Miss Clairol root touch up is that my gray hair is extremely resistant and I literally have to leave it on my head for almost an hour. No such thing as 10 minutes. But the same is true when I go in and have my hair professionally done. My hair takes much longer to take the color than it does most peoples hair.

Be much easier to mix up a small amount of hair color and spot treat before taking a shower/washing hair.

Ive bought this to use to create a root shadow and low lights on my wigs. I used medium brown (I’m blonde) and it’s worked really well. I’m assuming it will wash out when I wash the wig, but as I’ve not washed them yet I don’t know what will actually happen. I’ve not tried it on my bio hair as I’m now completely grey.

I buy an extra regular Preference hair dye. I use 50/50 in a cup mixed on roots in between normal dying. I don't know why people don't know this. You can cap the rest till the next month. only use what you need to get by.

I have such a dry, itchy scalp during the winter and this product would be awful every time I touched my scalp/roots. Thanks for the heads up...no pun intended! :)

Just catching your video. I find if you put a light spray of hairspray over it it helps. I do this with the spray but yeah I don’t like the crunchiness it leaves.

Have you tried drying it with a hair dryer? I use the spray for my wigs and I let it dry and then brush through to get rid of the crunch. I’ll look at the Garnier option. TFS!

I really think it serves its purporse.Its really just '"omg I have an event to go to amd I forgot to get a hair appt" its really meant for touch ups around the hairline,and edges..A quick fix we used to do when I was a stylist was using mascara in the areas to camaflauge it for the event..So if they say you can use it throughout your hair as a root touch up..Wrong..These products are for a quick fix only....nothing is going to replace peroxide and prpfessional haircolor,but its great for emergencys!!!!

I have a grey "spot", and this is too time-consuming. Mine was $10.00 and it always ends up on my scalp in a DARK, unnatural, looking mark.👎 I do love the spray though.
