I was born in 61. I grew up watching Apollo. I agree completely thst "its about time". I feel like 50 years of my life was wasted by NASA's inaction on manned spaceflight. When I was ten I would have sworn we would have been on mars by 1985. But nasa just bet everything on the shuttle. They have done great with probes and whatnot but manned spaceflight has been a NASA failure. At least until the commercial crew program that gave Spacex a jumpstart. Better late than never.

@fryers23
@fryers23 2 года назад
I have been thinking the same thing. SN5 and 6 where huge and the cranes & elevated work platforms just reached the top. Then they added nose cones and that make the non nosecones looks small. Now, SN15 looks pretty small compared to the other cranes and tower.

It still amazes me that SpaceX just strap the raptors to a pallet and use a forklift and and a Ford truck to move them around. It is good to hear that, for those of us who not able to go there in person. It is good to hear from people who have seen it in real life. The Raptors taken from SN15 may be used in the first Super Heavy. The booster needs so many, it can use a couple of used ones. Then when there is a failure in those used ones, it would to be a major problem. Plus this way SN15 can use three new Raptors to be 'broken in' on its second flight. [Edited for typo]
