This set is so far probably my favorite set of this year, as it just has a good amount of stuff to it, for both competitive and casual players. The dragonling is a quarter century. My friend ended up pulling one…right after I said I’m glad no one pulled a lightsworn QCSR. 🙃

This set has gotten me back into the game after almost 15 years of just occasionally collecting and maintaining character decks. Konami and their nostalgia bait has completely suckered me in. I probably just need a card or two to complete the Shining Sarcophagus deck, and thanks to Ruxin’s stream last night on Whatnot, I’ll be able to resurrect my ancient Lightsworn deck.

What gets my gears grinding is that that new ashen fusion dragon is basically Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon. Pretty much the same affect. It'll come to master duel and be playable but Dragoon will still be banned.

I love the Gandora art in this set and I really like the Silent Magician and Swordsman cards. Yugi throwbacks are always great! If I don't pull some good stuff from the box I bought, the tantrum I throw will cause sinful destruction.

Between the Tenpai archetype and the new Lightsworn cards it's a bit hard to choose and then the shining Sarc cards it's just a really good set overall in my opinion but if I had to choose one card I'd probably go with Weiss, Lightsworn Archfiend or the Lightsworn Dragonling

Rarity Collection 2 is what's going to determine the future of the side-set boosters for the next couple of years. If it does extremely well we might get a third and fourth in a row as Konami tries to reprint all the old favorites repeatedly; for better or worse.
