Definitely C-3PO, it comes with the ucs C-3PO for only $140, why would I spend $240 for it when I can get it cheaper and actually like the set?, also that sarlacc pit is amazing so idk they are definitely tied
Well its their own fault. I mean no one saying to them to buy that overprice stuff. And when they still buying it, why should Lego go down with the price ?
The prices of Star Wars licensed Lego sets should be the least surprising part of this video. Disney doesn't play around in cashing in on their brands.
@@TXnine7nine has nothing to do with Disney and everything to do with lego using smaller parts, most large parts will makeup the base of the sarlac pit, the original skiff is less than 13 pieces
@@JuiceAndBricks I agree, I'm not thrilled about the price, but despite the low piece count, the set appears to have atleast a good amount of "stuff" as jangbricks would say. However, I do want to see an in hand review of it first
@@JakesLegoCorner without a doubt the price is a little steep to keep an army builder like that away from the fans. Probably will be a case of what happened with the Dark trooper.
That was the rumour but that's why you don't believe it till you see it. Maybe someone made a mistake of the night trooper being Enoch or it was just a suggested character inclusion. Maybe a battle pack next year will fix that.
Or people getting sumber and dumber for putting down that kind of money? if people want cheaper, they should boycot Lego. Since that isn't going to happen, there is no basis for complaining.
I had almost talked myself out of that Helicarrier, but seeing the images changed my mind right back again. It's a thing of beauty I can't wait to put on my shelf. And $80 CAD is a steal for a model like that as far as I'm concerned. With so many sets being well over the hundred bucks range, I will gratefully snap up any cheaper 18+ sets that I can.
Just wait, MSRP is for people that do not know any better or do not care about the money. Almost everything goes at least 20% off or get with a GWP. So many people keep buying sets at inflated prices then complain about the high prices.
@@anthonyacuna8604 Yeah and it pisses me off when people try to blame it on licenses. That's bullshit. Lego is doing the same absurd prices for themes like City or Ninjago that are owned by Lego. No licensing costs here. They could sell all their sets for half the price and would still make a lot of profit. The worst thing is that the quality of the sets isn't even that great. There are other companies that produce higher value compatible bricks with a better quality than Lego does and their sets are half the price of Lego sets. So it would definitely be possible but Lego is so greedy and mighty, that they don't care. They know that people will buy it anyway. This Ahsoka Set is literally just a floor with four small things on the side and 5 figures. Charging 55€ for that is ridiculous. That's a 30€ set at most and even that is generous. By the piece count it seems like almost 300 of these pieces are going into that floor. But who needed that? People wanted these figures. Nobody needs the rest, it's completely unnecessary and worthless. I can build that with very basic pieces at home. The part out value of this set, if we exclude the figures, is probably at around 10€ or so.
The Peridia set looks like a pretty mid build, but the minifigure selection is definitely going to be the main selling point. I’m excited to finally get my hands on a Thrawn minifigure!
That Ahsoka set is so absurdly bad 💀 The Sarlacc Pit is pretty cool tho. But both sets are massively overpriced. That Ahsoka set is 30€ at most and the Sarlacc Pit is 60€ at most. I don't know where Lego is getting these fantasy prices from.
@@Zhh566 It's not about being accurate. It's about being boring. The set costs 55€ and has nothing to offer besides 5 Minifigures. The rest of the set is boring, looks boring and has almost no play value. Almost 300 of these pieces go only into the floor. That's ridiculous and unnecessary. They did the same crap with that one Obi-Wan vs Vader Set from 2022 where they charged the same price and most of the set was the boring floor. At this point Lego could have just left everything else away and sold the Minifigures in one Minifigures blister for 20€ or so. Would've been better. The rest of the set is almost worthless.
If Mario and Yoshi get announced/leaked can you please put it in the thumbnail because it's the only thing I really am interested in and I'm not kidding I've been scrolling through ALL of these videos just BEGGING for it to show up once 😂 I'm so still hoping it's not a 2D set
Love the Desert Skiff and would definitely pair it with the Sailbarge if i could afford it $500/£400 is steep. The mini Helicarrier is cool way more affordable then the original UCS one lol. The new Catermaran thing i definitely want to get it should have gotten the previous model as it has alt builds but this is more than fine and I'm not even a water sport's person. The McLaren P1 is my most HYPED set cannot wait for the reveal and the G Wagon if it's similar to the technic Land Rover they did in 2019 I'd be hyped. The Jaws set is also cool but I'll be passing on it. And the Duel on Peridea I'll pickup and see if i can MOC into a Diorama style set it should have had the black border. Even though its technically still is.
I hate the battle of Perdia. The minifigs are cool, but everything else is terrible. Just a grey slab for $50? Lego is getting so lazy with the set designs with sets like these. Definitely will just wait to buy the mini figs off the secondary market for cheaper
When I sour the NASCAR rear and I see the comments I'm like oh boy people clutching there pearls again ay, I just not to sound rude but the double standers in this year for Speed Champions wise is just getting more silly, the rear is fine I don't mind the compromise.
Lego/SW knew what they were doing with these SW sets. The minifigs will be the reason these sell well despite price complaints. They continue to sell them like this because they have the wacko addicted minifig community by the stones, especially the SW community, sorry to say it. Although the skiff is not a bad looking set and Lego definitely capitalized on it with the Sail Barge going hand in hand. C-3P0 looks good and the price is a bit justified with those gold and silver pieces, along with the now not so exclusive C-3PO minifig. The hellicarrier looks soild for the peice count, and $60 isnt too bad as it could easily have been a $65-$70 set. I do agree it probably should have been a bit larger, maybe coming with 100 extra pieces. I guess they didnt want to invest too much into it to gauge interest in a midiscale line for Marvel. I need more of this from Lego for Marvel. I would love to see a quinjet, the Milano, and Ronin and Thanos's ships in midiscale form
6:20 what’s the spoiler on the NASCAR Camero? New pieces? The only windshield I can think of that is about the right size doesn’t have a thick top like that appears to have.
Any more news about the winter village set? To be honest it seems like it's literally the only Lego set that Lego does not release any leaks or any information tell literally the week before the release. It's like one of the top secret Lego sets for every year. Other than that want to let you know I've been watching your videos on RU-vid for years now. Keep up the hard work I love watching them. And thank you
@@Zorogundam19as a Star Wars fan and Speed Champion fan I'm finding myself waiting more for sales now. Even Speed Champions have gone up in price since the 8 stud wide stuff first released at just about £18. It's now something like £22. Not much but I am willing to hold off buying at full price unless towards a GWP I like.
There is no weequay with the sarlac pit. !!! This is another rehash of a set we’ve gotten many times over. Wake up Lego and give us some new characters to fill in Jabbas Scene. There are so many henchman or goons. Also there is no Enoch in the battle of peridia. No wonder Lego sales are crashing from my sources due to economic conditions and inflation and people having other priorities in life that they can’t buy Lego at the moment. Doesn’t help with Lego increasing prices to ridiculous levels
What? Many collectors will buy it out of necessity for their collection, not because they agree with the price. For the asking price they should have at least included the correct version of Boba. Sales=/=of whether something is overpriced or not
I have a Lego corporate insider as a friend and they tell me sales are way down and they are also not producing numbers that they have in past years due to concerns of sitting stock in warehouses.
@@tonyricca8116 HAHAHA...sure you do. Meanwhile, LEGO is releasing new sets at a record high rate, stores sell out, online new sets sell out, and they're retiring sets at a lower rate. They're producing more 16+ and 18+ sets than ever before with no sign of it slowing down. They also report record sales almost every quarter. They're also expanding their properties and lines, and partnering with more companies than ever before.... Sure, your "friend" knows better though... He's either made up or his info is. 100% LEGO and Hasbro are the two top toy companies with the most staying power...in the world.
@whiteninjazx6r why are you defending a massive corporation ripping off customers.......wouldn't be lecturing folks when you do that, cause it says a hell of a lot more about your intelligence then the people you're lecturing.
