I am not 100% sure regarding the terminology, but I think this guitar (the Mojave Fade AFD-style model) has the so-called "reverse zebra" pickups, meaning on the neck pickup, the adjustable pole pieces are on the white part, and on the bridge pickup, the adjustable pole pieces are on the black part. So if you assemble the pickups in the usual orientation (not "Greeny" style), then you get a real "zebra" look, meaning white/black/white/black. Compare this - for example - to the Sandy CC#4 model, that has regular zebra pickups, and assembled in the traditional orientation gives you black/white/white/black (starting from the neck). The "Sandy" model has two non-reverse zebra pickups. I am pretty sure I got it right, but perhaps I am all off... Or small correction: the model has one of the pickups a reverse-zebra and the other one the standard zebra, and that gives you the alternating look like a zebra.
Thats 100% correct Roland. We did this on most of out former runs in this color as well but Gibson Custom does not allow this option anymore since it‘s too close to the former limited AFD run!
