New Lethal Tempo Interactions - Bel'Veth, Zeri, Jinx and More! 

It should be good on him. He wasn't totally obsessed with old LT like some other bruisers were, has the movement speed to not need the bonus attack range. But the on-hit damage will actually be super useful.

classic riot games, lets make the most braindead worthless eloinflated champs in the entire game even stronger while not touching any other champs :D (arcane s2 comes out in a month)

Current Warwick will still prefer PTA. PTA gives value immediately and helps get an enemy below half health faster, after that stage Warwick wins regardless of how much on-hit he has. The idea that Warwick needs to build like Yi and be some kind of squishy hypercarry only exists in the minds of people who don't play him. At most, he builds titanic and blade. Titanic is getting a huge nerf next patch but will still probably be a core item, and blade's on-hit is only substantial when the enemy is above half health. Realistically speaking, the Lethal Tempo on-hit ratio isn't even that big. The champions that will want to build it are the ones that need some attack speed but prefer to build raw AD items, not ones that already have a ton of innate attack speed in their kit.

@12171010011010 idk recently encountered a 75% wr warwick top smurf in high diamond/low masters and his first 2 items were bork and kraken, followed by hullbreaker and only after that did he buy sterax and randuins. early game he stacked attack speed

@12171010011010 also i dont see how he would ever prefer pta over lethal tempo? like 8% more damage is 100% less damage than what he gets from excess attack speed. like with base stats, half of those champs got 100 damage at 18, we both builds an insane amount of as and the lower people are, the more as he gets and the more damage he does with that so idk

no it's not, on melees maybe yes but on ranged no way. Also it gave more attack speed for each stack afaik so it's def worse

What?? LT before was broken because you (as an ADC) could just buy 1 AS item and be good with it. Now, this wont synergize as well with crit ADCs as much as before. It'll definitely be a buff for on-hit ADCs tho but at least crit ADCs cant skip AS items as easily as before

​@@Dex-of7ri Nah, it's way less damage The Adaptive force bonus doesn't even compare to the uncapped attack speed buff the old letal tempo had, it was a 1000g power spike from a rune alone

The abusers were abusing it too hard, but there are champions like Kayle and Bel'Veth that really need a rune like this. Nothing else is even close to good on them. Honestly, this probably isn't even that much better than PTA for most ADCs, but restores a core rune that certain characters genuinely need to be a good champion, AND removes what made the rune op before (AS cap break and bonus range, 2 stats you couldn't get from anywhere else in the game)

@@meekumanu conq is beyond solid on bel'veth, and from what I see old lethal was never really used on bel'veth so it's not like she was in a desperate need of a atk speed rune. However the new lethal seems to be a GREAT and best alternative on her against squishy comps while conq will remain on top against tanks and bruisers. Only time will tell and more testing as there is no one on youtube who wants to test the limits of new lethal on bel'veth.

@@RexPerfection For those champs Conqueror still exist, it is like complain about Electrocute because it is a rune for burst damage champions but it cannot be built for champs that could use it but do not wanna buy a lot of damage. If you are an autoattack based champion pick Lethal tempo and build AS, If you dont want AS then pick Conqueror, what is the problem? XD

@@EnriqueelMike thanks for actually explaining. even then, there are still champs that could take lethal but dont itemize a lot of attack speed- they get it from their runes and spells. it just makes it OP on onhit building champs and weaker on champs who get their damage from raw AD but still might AA alot. just my initial thoughts

OTP Kindred here, LT is better than Conqueror in 14.19, more damage from 0 marks (pretty sure it still outdamages even with 0 attack speed items). Conqueror only has healing to offer over LT, and the healing is a joke. Didn't test PTA in PBE, bait rune imo, but LT should outdamage it too in longer fights.

It came with the new patch on PBE, it opens the shop. It seems to be for new players since you don't see the hotkey without going into settings.

that damage needs to be removed, getting 40% attack speed perma from a rune is already ridiculous enough. how is a rune like electrocute which does 150 damage late game and 30 damage early game every 15 seconds in the same game as lethal tempo holy shit. if spellbook was released today, it would give you 1% increases on all stats every time you swap out a summoner or something disgusting like that 100%

its both not fun for the user and its way more frustrating and broken, riot games classic especially in phreak szn

So, funny thing is, the damage is on attack, not on hit, so it doesnt scale with runaan's or rageblade

Riot doesn’t like when the average marksman/ranged uses conquerer, especially when they have other options. Nilah gets a free pass by design and Samira is balanced around conquerer existing. They want a way for AA champs to scale AS beyond the cap without uncapping it, so the solution was this Lethal tempo absolutely has a niche it *can* fill, they’re just trying to find the best fit. HoB is burst oriented and for champs who care less about consistent DPS, yet it’s the only remaining AS option

​@@sentireswastaken Its objectively the best rune for AA champions, because again they made it conqueror but AS. How can you call it *niche* ? Hail of blades IS niche, thats why its an unpopular rune. Bringing back a keystone that is not only desired by most AA champions, but is also consistently good early and even more late game is insane. Seriously, how many other keystones can offer this much gold value? Its easily an item's worth mid-late game, by far the best keystone in the game AND for the carry champs too? Its like if mages had a keystone which gave scaling damage and ability range. Or tanks permanently increasing resistances based on CC. Or supports a normal keystone :D

@@meekumanu Yes, it definetly does. Conqueror overall gives you a lot less ramping DPS, because all it does is give adaptive power. Lethal tempo on the other hand gives ramping AS, with bonus on-hit at max stacks. The problem is, you already get to attack more and more with lethal tempo as it stacks up. If you use up your abilities as Renekton to stack conqueror, you can no longer benefit from that bonus AD on the abilities until they are off CD. On the other hand, Yone can continuously attack faster and faster with lethal tempo. Imagine the keystone as a conqueror which gives you CDR and faster cast speed, thats why it is so good. A lot of the times that bonus damage you get from conqueror ends up being trivial early because of CD's

back then, lethal tempo is like an early 1k gold item if you have it as your primary rune in the early game. now its like 300 worth since it gives small amounts of AD early on and it emphasizes buying bonus attack speed to properly utilize it. idk if I am right but that's how I understand why it is back now. but i feel like this will still be busted on other champs and cause a backlash.

Now it doesnt seem 10x better than conqueror level 1. It's kinda just conqueror but worse if you rely on abilities and better if you have on hit.

Tempo used to scale with level. You get more atk speed later in the game so that skipping atk spd item is common. And most importantly I can see is that the ranged increase is too absurd to play against, both in melee or ranged form

Bel’Veth can always go over the cap, she can get up to 9999.00 AS. Jinx can go above it during her Passive, and up to 90.00 AS. Kennen can go to 10.00 after his E, Varus can barely break it with his Passive, Viego can also go to 9999.00 after overtaking Bel‘Veth.

Doesnt build enough AS Id say. Idk if they fixed the bug with his Q passive not stacking lethal but probably not. Conq and Pta are overally just better since he stacks them instantly and they give more versitile dmg/survivability

They gonna change it from on-hit to on-attack. So abilities won't be able to proc it and ADC's won't heal off of it.

@@6DarthSion9 well, i know, its already on attack on the pbe, it doesnt work on on hit katarina abilities, BUT the kata ultimate procs attacks and it does work ! xD so when u press R after staking ur LT with auto (e doesnt work) then ur ult procs 3K LT damage, maybe it wont work but its already flagged as on-attack
