Good tip Peter about using hot water to flex the front pipes. I used the same method to curve my Peco platform edges. Always an interesting vid. Regards John
Thank you very much John, yes with such small parts you certainly run a risk of snapping them, then I remembered from my plastic modelling days what I used to do if I came across warped parts and it worked here as well. All the best Peter
From 27.00 mins ..... Pair of Class 20's pulling 2 Nuclear flask wagons with a piece of bent wire ! Well done again Peter for another excellent video - All Good Wishes, Ron (83) West Dorset.
Hi Ron, yes practical rather than good looking :) and it was OK so long as it was pulling which suited me at the time. Thank you for watching all the best Peter
Love the new 37 Colas 👍 Between the Deltics, the 37’s and the 66’s I’m sure Accurascale are going to bankrupt me and I don’t have any organs left that I can sell, but they are so nice.
hi Peter, I always enjoy your running clips, can't help thinking you have robbed a bank? your fleet of Loco's. wagons and carriages always look amazing thank you for the video's I love watching them regards Ron
Hi Ron, believe me I am on the verge of having to do so LoL. Always relived when I see the announcements of new trains when not 'modern era' which I model. Thanks for watching All the best Peter
Hi Peter love your enthusiasm and the shots / camera angles you achieve during your running sessions. I personally don’t have a layout myself as monies are invested in other aspects of the modelling hobby but I love watching railway videos for both the models themselves and the modelling skills demonstrated in the layouts. The locomotive detail and sound are brilliant and whilst expensive they are wonderful bits of engineering. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next update whenever you decide to release one…..👍 Best Regards Gary
Hi Gary and thank you, yes indeed I love the detail that's comes with them now, you have to handle them carefully as something can easily get damaged but I am very aware of that. All the best Peter
Another really enjoyable video Peter.< thanks for posting. The Colas 37 looks superb. Also loving the nuclear connection, I have modelled Georgemas junction on my layout which includes a 110 ton crane for handling nuclear flasks. Unfortunately it looks like we will be moving house so it will be back to the drawing board depending on what space is available. Not to worry, I’ll still be able to get my fix on RU-vid thanks to you and a few others. Great content, keep them coming.
Thanks very much Ross. Hope you get the space you need. Starting again you can put to good use your knowledge from before. There's some things I wish I had done but would cause to much upheaval to implement it now. All the best Peter
I am waiting for the same loco but from a reseller. It's my 4th Accurascale 37. I love them. I've got way too many pre-orders that is going to surprise me when they take the money. Edit: I see you are obsessed with Network Rail too!
Hi there and thanks for watching. Yes Network Rail is a must have for many of my locos as thats what they do. I have other wagons for my GBrF, DRS and DB stock to haul. Thanks for watching Peter
Hi Pete. You didn't mention the Accurascale Class 50 as a future purchase. Accurascale as a company are emptying my bank account. My latest locomotive is the Accurascale Dutch Livery from the second batch as is your Class 37 Colas. They sound great, I'm tempted to purchase as a Colas, but with all the Class 50s on order, do I need any more! Why not check out my little video and make a comment.
Hi there and yes Im sorry I have had a look at your set up and I think you, like me had only a set amount of space, so you have come up with a good way of showcasing your models. Gone back and subbed you, don't know why I didn't before. All the best Peter
