Overprocessed - that's why she has to work so hard to get it to curl. Apply and smooth in circular motions based on your hair pattern with gloved hands until hair is saturated, then use styling sponge to gently work the hair into curls as if you were styling it, let sit the last 2-3 minutes of processing and rinse. Helps lock in spiral curl pattern. DISCARD SPONGE. You never comb chemicals this savagely on your scalp.
When applying you should start at the crown of the head,, not comb thru so hard, the edges the very last bc the hair is thin and don’t take much processing time and gently comb through or part and do the roots!!!
for a texturizer it’s crazy how hair texture & time affects it. i left mine in longer than 5 minutes and i still have curls & waves but of course they are a bit looser and i have fine hair so i probably could’ve left it on maybe max 3-5mins so i def encourage everybody to do a patch test and see how fast or slow you hair takes to loosen. and you may even need to do it in sections, wash it out then do the next section so you can see for yourself. but this came out really good once it was styled!

I was confused because she kept saying relaxer. This is not a relaxer. Relaxers straighten out the hair. This is an s curl. Thank you for posting this video because I really wanted to know if the process burns like relaxers do. I got my answer 🤣🤣🤣
This turned out good, glad he likes it and is confident. I get tired of dealing with my hair since it’s fully grown out and I’m tempted to relax it. But I just cant see myself killing my healthy hair and honestly I can get it to a silky texture without relaxers. It’s just so much damn work. But I dont knock anyone who does it. It alters the proteins of your hair. That's why you get a neutralizing shampoo and immediately rinse your hair and apply the shampoo. It's a chemical treatment and it is harsh on your hair. Your scalp will start burning and itching and your gon start falling out if you leave it in too long
I used a texturizer for my hair but when I had it in I felt no type of burning sensation in my hair and I’m kinda mad cause now I’m realizing one side of my hair is longer than the other
It might be naturally like that but you noticed it after processing it. My hair is natural I’ve never processed it (idc if you do) but when I blow dry mine and braid it one side is a lil longer than the other. Barely but one side just is. It’s natural.

I have a similar texturized but it came with no instructions so I was trying to get the proper order before I tried to apply it myself. So after watching the vid I believe it goes in this order... 1.apply baseline/hair lotion to edges/hairline to protect the skin. 2 apply the texturized which is the one with 2 on the packaging. 3. Let texturizee stay in hair for 5/10 minutes or as needed. 4. Use neutralizing shampoo to remove the texturizer completely from hair. 5.apply curl activator or whatever hair moisturizer 🧴 you choose. Is this correct? His hair came out very well and mines looks as coarse as his so I believe I will get the exact results.
I used neutralizing shampoo an my hair turned back normal, and greasey. I broke the rules and kept scurl in for 20 mins, washed it out with regular shampoo and applied activator gel, my hair looks naturally curly now. Like Latin American curly, but idk of that works for everyone

Me and my dad are going to apply this product for the first time on my hair! My question is should we apply it after or before a haircut? And after you apply it, is it ok to wash it out using the shampoo after a few minutes? The curls are looking nice and it has me hype for this weekend! ❤
It comes when 2 applications. First time I used it my hair was silky smooth for weeks…..1 month later I used the same kit. Lid was on the whole time. But hair didn’t feel the same. Felt normal. Not silky smooth like first time. Should I have bought a new kit?
Hey bro, question, When I do the scurl , the curls are very loose, after a few days and a wash the curls are never the same as the moment thre scurl was rinsed out and moisturize applied, how do I fix this?
After shampooing your hair do this in the exact order to keep/maintain the look: 1. After wash keep hair slightly damp 2. Apply luster’s s curl “gel” while hair is damp & massage through hair to style desired 3. Be sure to put on a hair cap if you can the night you apply to avoid any excess product on pillows. 4. The days ahead you then can apply Luster’s moisturizer to your hair. ( I usually apply this every 2 days) but it’s supposed to be applied daily to maintain the look. Hope this helps 👍🏾
Everyone’s hair is different. She left it on 4 minutes. His hair was thick but wasn’t that tightly curled to begin with. That’s why it looks like that. He probably has 4a hair naturally.
