Hi Elle. Congrats on breaking 50k!! Wow! Being in my "second 30" I am looking for ways to bring the glow back. I am not sure if that illuminating primer wouldn't emphasize the fine lines on more mature faces but what a wonderful way to add a healthy glow to our bodes. Thanks so much!!🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸

I was wondering have you done a review on Lancome absolue powder I know the one that is going around RU-vid Big Time right now is the absolute Peche but I noticed they have them in different names when I looked it up and I'm wondering why if you could help me with that I'm not sure if it's for different skin tones , finishes or shades or exactly why that is and I don't have a store nearby I can see them in person or get samples but I'm very curious about this it's $60 but it does look gorgeous when I see people applying it and videos I can see a huge difference on this side of the camera I could just imagine how it looks in person I'm not sure if you've tried it yet or are going to I would love your Insight about it thanks Elle 💜💚💗💙💛

I got a sample of the Becca back light primer in my Playbox & actually liked it paired with a fuller coverage matte foundation. It wasn't shimmery the way other illuminating products I've tried had been & it was somewhat hydrating. These Lumi primers didn't look like they contained shimmer either, the glow was subtle & pretty & I assume much less expensive than the Becca would be. I don't think you mentioned whether they were hydrating or not?

Hi Elle! I have a question not related to this video. Hope that is ok. I am 63, wear glasses-progressives. When I put on my eyeshadow then put my glasses on, I see all my wrinkles and "flap" of my eyelids dropping. It seems like it is all magnified. Is there any way I can reduce this "look" ? I am at the point where I don't want to wear eyeshadows anymore. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Elle. The only lumi product that I have is the powder glow illuminator. This is an older product obviously. So I'm def trying out some of.these asap. Nothing nicer than being glowy and dewy. Especially having dry skin.

I have been using the loreal true match lumi c301 (ice) and mixing it with my bb cream (all over my face) and have been very happy! No pilling. I use this blend over my skincare. I do look greasy if I mix in too much but nothing I can't fix aw a touch of powder. PS I am very dry.

I thought you were glowing without using any products. So you must use some good skincare products. I don't use all those different products that you were using and I don't think I will. Too much for me, I'm more of a minimalist. But, I would like to pass this on. I have very translucent clear skin like you but am much older. I'm using a Japanese skin gel called Hada Laba and I highly recommend it. It is clear white gel and it has hyluronic acid and ceramides. These ingredients keep your skin very hydrated and protect from evaporation Of water. I highly recommend it and then you use a moisturizer over it. Your skin will just glow. I get many compliments on my skin and many people guess my age to be at least 10 years younger. So ladies, please try it!

Hey Elle! I use the 902! When I just want a little something I wear it alone with blush. I really like it! The whole line is very good! I value your honest opinion on the products you review! Thank you for another lovely and informative presentation! I just invested in two bottles of Maybelline fit me Matt foundation before I discovered from you that I should be using something with a bit of a glow! So these highlighter drops seem a perfect solution to add a healthy glow to my matte foundation (which I love by the way!) it had a minimum order of two bottles, and I almost fell off my chair when you used it on a demonstration on what not to do however you did say that it can work if you do it in sheer layers so thank you for that! I will have to apply the new luminous strategically as to avoid highlighting “texture” from my 52 years young skin! LOL. I can’t believe that I have been wearing make up for 35 years and I’m just now discovering these invaluable tutorials! As I’ve mentioned, you stand out and shine above everyone that I have seen, as of yet! Pure class-in your own class! I will definitely be sharing your contact information with my gal pals! I noticed your of a mature age, I've heard that for mature skin it is not such a good idea to put too much illumination on the skin due to it showing every fine line, wrinkle and pore??

So glad you reviewed these! I'm back on a budget and wanted a decent primer but with a subtle glow, which I was proving to be harder than I thought. I don't have the best skin and find so many primers are too glowey (especially these days with the super-glow trend) and can draw attention to pores and skin on its bad days. I tried the Loreal primers in the drug store the other day but still was on the fence even though my first reaction was "wow...gorgeous!" I just wasn't sure how they'd look on a face. So thank you for posting! Was so helpful to see how the look on a face and I'm officially sold :) Gonna pick them up tomorrow.

The fourth ingredient is denatured alcohol in the Glotion. Is this something that would be OK every once and a while or should someone with dry skin avoid this?

I use the rose gold shimmer pigment as a blush topper and it works pretty nicely. But not too much just a tad and it’s beautiful on.

I am 58, very, very dry but large pores ALOT of wrinkles do to very ageing skin. What primers do you recommend ( even dryer now that I use Retina)??Love your channel watch you almost daily old and new and have watched you for about a year, thank you, thank you

Try the Elf Hydrating Primer. It is infused with grape, Vitamins A, C, & E to help boost complexion and hydrate your skin. It is VERY hydrating. I use it on my wrinkled under-eye area before applying concealer and it makes my eyes look nice and hydrated instead of dry and crinkly. I actually use those highlight drops on top of powder (breaking rules, I know) but if you LIGHTLY tap it on the high points of the cheek with a beauty blender, foundation and powder doesn’t move underneath.. the key is a very light hand and small amounts
