These Mini no preps definitely have my attention, and I do want one, but why can't they come with DSMR compatible receiver. I am not sure why Horizon puts this SLX/SLT stuff in their RTR's.

I bought one of these and it is pure crap! The shocks are filled with a weak oil and the car has a ton of body roll. I put 50 weight shock oil in the shocks and silicone tubing on the rams as dampers. I removed the motor esc combo because if either fails the little turd id $90.00. I installed a esc and motor seperate from Hobbywing for around $50.00 for both and the motor is 7800kv as apposed to the 6000kv motor and I also installed a Dumbo RC F6G receiver with gyro, and a 3S 100c 800mah lipo and this thing screams and also removed the ec2 garbage connectors and installed XT30 connectors. The tires are super spongy and cause a lot of bounce which will be the next upgrade.

Will it run on 3S or is it 2S max? Are there any options to go faster than stock?

When need 1/10 drag cars and when I say 1/10 I mean actual 1/10 not 1/8 they are way to big up against my TT02/01s and great Vigors etc

Price has got to be lower. This looks to be a great idea but not for the price.
