The shadows remind me the palette Nude Dress actually, which is one of my favorite, but I prefer Nude Dress because it is more neutral and light. And it seems that the new formula is more difficult to blend? Than the old Dior formula..
Good morning! I feel the 200 concealer is a tad too dark - maybe you could combine it with a lighter shade. BTW, I recommend placing a light concealer/color corrector along your outer lash-line and blend upwards in a line extending toward the tip of you eyebrows (blending a lot) to create “lift.”
This eyeshadow palette is in the new reformulated Dior range and I've had my eye on it, but I just noticed that my local Dior boutique still has it in stock in the old formula. Did you get the chance to see if it's really the same color story? Any insights on the formula of this one? Is it as amazing as the "old" permanent range? I'm debating whether it's worth buying in the old formula because it's gonna cost me way more than buying the new reformulated one from Selfridges...
I haven't seen the new version in person but the colors look very similar online. I personally think the old formula is better but it looks like most of the shades in the new formula are satin which should be ok. I think if it is a palette you plan on using pretty much every day, splurge on the old formula. Otherwise, the new one might be worth the cost savings.
@@LexiJong Thanks! I saw great swatches on ig of the new palette but the lighting is very different so I couldn't tell for sure about the color story. I dod think there were many mattes but they may have been satins. The swatches are very pigmented but I don't know what it took to get them to look like that. However, the poster was quite please with the formula I think. It is the same formula as the other permanent quints though, right? That's what I wanted to make sure
I have the By Terry Beach Bomb pallet & I really enjoy the blushes in it as you said. I thought the brow product was great & the color perfect on you. The concealer in 200 looked like it was exactly the right shade. I think I will get 200 when I order it. I loved the whole look👏🏻👏🏻

@@LexiJong I agree & LE about to launch. If I am running late then I reach for a powder blush. I love cream blushes; but, I am not as confident in the application & longevity.
What is your favorite lipstick between Guerlain, Chanel or any of the other highend lipsticks. I have some birthday money to spend and after watching your videos, I have a great desire for some high end lipstick. Not into mattes.
So I think you may want to consider picking up a couple of items from the Lisa Eldridge launch because they are a bit more special since they are not always available. Her sheer satin formula is coming back this time and I really like that formula. Otherwise, i would suggest a Guerlain KissKiss shine bloom lipstick or satin Rouge G or perhaps one of the new Chanel coco flashes that are coming out next week. I just picked up some bond no. 9 lipsticks to try and they are gorgeous but i haven’t worn them yet. They don’t have fragrance though so I was very happy to see that. If you want a bright lipstick, I would recommend the Hermes Corail Aqua. And finally, for my very favorite of all that i currently have, I would probably say Sisley (i love Beige Manhattan). @@kar120cus they are releasing four new shades as part of the les beiges collection that comes out next week. Same formula. I am not sure but the new shades might be limited edition.

I was torn between this quint and the copper..for now I’m waiting for the new Suqqu summer quads to release because I want to get one of those instead, I think. The Decorte powder does look lovely.. I don’t like that talc is the first ingredient in it.

Very pretty lipstick and loved the Decorte Powder.I just received my BT Palette , I have both now, the packaging got me again. The Dior quint looked really pretty you and the brow pencil in golden blonde looked really good with the quint.
The By Terry foundation looks really great! - I think the Rose scent is a By Terry trademark, since the 1990s I think. S if it’s still natural rose extract, it should be fine for people who are not sensitive to Chantecaille, Fresh, Origins, etc. The shade is a great match for you (on my screen anyway).
Love the by terry concealer. I’m shade b20 in Chanel foundation and I wear it in 100 fair. It’s brightening for me now I’m wanting that 200 natural though. It’s not full coverage by any means but it never cakes up or looks dry on me. I think it looks great on you!

The quint looks so nice Lexi. It goes great with your brown eyes and brown mascara. I will definitely pick it up if it comes to Canada. Also I like how the powder looks on you. I know that it is kind of out of style to use setting powder or finishing powder but I still really like it and won't do makeup without it.

My fave concealer is the old version of the By Terry serum concealer and I don t know if they ll discontinued it. The consistency seems to be similar so will see ! I've been wearing the By Terry palette for the last week, I love it too. I skipped the previous palette, the shades didn't appeal but this years palette is lovely. I especially love the bronzer shade on me, it is perfect, like I've just been in the sun. I love all the blush shades on their own and mixed, they lovely and building. The highlighter is very low lustre and i like a high lustre so I usually use it as a base and top it with a more intense Natasha Denona highlighter.

There is a sale on By Terry's official website right now, at least for Canada, 40% for over $300 purchase. I ended up getting both of the CC face palettes and the Mon Amour eyeshadow palette among other things that I managed to just get over the $300 mark 😂. Gosh, I should really tell myself I'm not actually saving money, I'm still spending money at these sales 🤣

I got a notification yesterday when the other CC palette shade was restocked, maybe it got sold out again...I will try to swatch all of them and maybe DM you the photos once I receive my parcel 😃, or at least as soon I have the heart to "destroy" the pretty embossing 🤣🤣🤣. I wish the embossing/patterns on the eyeshadow palette don't disappear so fast, my other Paris by Night palette basically doesn't have much of the patterns left anymore 😭.
@@kaorurl7039 thank you! Yes the eyeshadow embossing does not hold up well at all! So far I have used the CC palette quite a bit and I can still see the roses so hopefully that will remain for a while.
I like the decorte powder. I need to use it more to see how much and get a true comparison but I think the Koh Gen Do is more blurring so I may be leaning towards that.
I purchased two eye shadow shades to try: Decorté BR 304 and PU 100. Both are sort of eggplant colors with BR being a bit darker. Slightly satin finish. Similar in texture to Westman Atelier, but much easier to blend. This was a blind purchase - until this I have only purchased luxury cotton squares from Decorté’. Like them very much!
