Great video. I hadn't known about the Alma backpack. Its great. I have the black Gobelins in black epi and love it. It still looks brand new after all these years amd heavy use. Good to see LV is creating some innovative practical bags like this again.
As a mommy, I use the chanel business affinity backpack and LV Palm Springs MM as my backpack choices. I got two for the different sizes. The chanel is for smaller shorter day trips and the LV is for longer days. Then I use the chanel deauville when I need a tote option. After using that tho, I prefer a top zip since it’s toppled over in the car a few times- considering the goyard artois. Then if a need a smaller bag within the bag, I throw in my chanel WOC or pochette accessories. Then I do Longchamp and Lululemon bags for parks, theme parks like disneyworld, beach etc. Excuses to get the right bag for the right outting 😂 Crossbody option is the speedy b 30
Hi Isabelle, try the Longchamps Le Pilage mini backpack. Holds a nice amount of items and great little backpack to throw all you need to take to the park include drink bottle and snacks for the little one. I’ve put an organiser in mine and use it for travel too .. waterproof and folds up too ☺️
That’s a really good idea. If you aren’t sure whether you are a backpack person or not then buy a less expensive one and if you really like it then think about buying a luxury designer one. I love my Le Pliage totes. They are perfect going away in the car bags, or putting under the seat in aeroplanes bags.
@@suzannehall5200yes, a very good price point to test the waters before committing to a designer backpack .. I ended up not spending $$$ as I love this backpack as it is so practical and so carefree 💕
I pre-ordered the Vanity Chain Pouch and it will be here Sat. I'm really excited to see it. I have always loved the Vanity bag but never pulled the trigger. With the new styling, one zipper, the straps, thinner profile and front lock, I decided it was time. I know it's not practical, but I am not a new mommy and I have lot's of practical bag :)
My option about the Alma backpack is that the elongated shape doesn’t allow the owner to put inside as it’s thin on the top part. I think it’s not a practical bag as it might fit lesser than the usual Alma.
I love that toteme bag too. For a full leather bag, I personally think $1200 is not bad. Better than paying for any canvas LV bags which are ridiculously expensive.
Hi Isabelle, the Pochette Tirette i think is also quite similar to their Papillion BB line except without the handle. The shape of the handbag looks quite similar and the Pochette Tirette in canvas it is more user friendly if you want to carry a bit more. Yeah i am also interested in the Alma Backpack but the vachetta may freak me out since it has quite a lot of it. Cant wait to see your unboxing of the mid size bag.
As a fellow Mom, IMO Mommy backpack is not that useful if no outside pockets for easy grab and go. Cumbersome to unzip backpack to get stuff in and out.
I use the Palm Springs MM as my mommy backpack and I also use the chanel business affinity backpack. I’m fine getting in and out of a main compartment. It’s technically the same concept as a tote with zipper top. Not a problem for me. Always nice to have outside pockets tho, but not necessary for me
The Alma backpack is so cute! I feel like it takes some getting used to for the shape just because we’re so used to the usual shape of it instead of the north south orientation. Also, as a mom of two little ones, I found that a requirement that I have to have for any bags that I buy is that it needs to be able to fit my kids water bottle lol!
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxy* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me.
Hello. From how you describe the Toteme bag and I noticed a sparkle in your eyes, why do I think that will be the bag that you'll unbox next week asb the mid size mum bag 😊 Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Louie is coming out with so many bags that it has lost it’s appeal. They are over priced Coach bags. Nothing special about them and at those prices…not worth it. 3/5 women carry an LV in Miami
Many rich people rarely buy genuine products and the rest are knockoffs because they have money. People will always think they are real. But if the average person puts on the genuine article and tries to convince people. People will never believe them. Since they measure people by wealth, why not be realistic and buy high-quality *esluxy* ?
A lady I work for her house worth £3-4 million and guess what. Her bags are *esluxy* worth £60 on the road. What l learned from her. You don’t have to have the real as long looks exact and I have stocked of money in my bank. I used to buy the real to a point realising I don’t need to waste money
