Every time the people want something Smith&Wesson deliver it, and fast! Best firearms manufacturer anywhere in the world in my opinion. Yall are absolutely awesome.
@@fordmech7913 Glock is a cheap thin $200, uninspired, outdated, rip off, scam. You know the glock supposed to be 200 bucks yea? But the marketing dept. tripled it thinking Americans would ignore a cheap gun. They still use plastic sight ffs, awful grip angle, mushy trigger, same gun from the 80's sold on outdated hype to fools that don't know any better. M&P's are wonderful on the other hand and S&W gives consumers whatever they ask for in terms of features. You very simply don't know what you're talking about "bro"
I'm pretty sure this basically is the 3.0. Going from the 1.0 to 2.0, the main changes they made were improving the texture, they got rid of the unnecessary beavertail, and they improved the trigger. Now they've made a full line up of optics ready guns, and the trigger is upgraded again, and they added better slide serrations. This basically is the 3.0.
I picked one up about 3 months ago. In my opinion for the money it's the best 9mm compact pistol on the market. They fix that sloppy trigger on the previous version of the MP and I find that it fits me better than a Glock 19. SW did something right with the 2.0.
How is the recoil on the 3.6 I shot a rental full size today and I'm really liking it so much that I'm considering not getting the Sig Sauer p365x Macro and getting a Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 in 4 inche or 3.6 inche barrel
Excellent. A pistol myself and fellow lefties will gobble up. I would beg S&W to put this trigger, optics ready and Ambi slide stop/release on the M&P 380 EZ and 9mm EZ. Please 🙏. My wife and I both carry 380 EZ, as do many.
Haha, I just recently got the original M&P 2.0 Compact Optics Ready, and now they released these ones with the improved trigger 🤣😓. Not that the 2.0 trigger is bad, but those new flat triggers look real nice. Guess I'll go with an Apex trigger 🙃
Bro, trust me. Upgrading to a Apex I promise you that it'll blow away that new stock trigger S&W is releasing. But I am glad they decided to release the 2.0s with a flatty trigger
Getting that plunger out on the Core models is a PITA. With the right tools and careful work the screw for the plunger spring can be got out, but if you strip it, it’s a bad day. Love Apex but I’m just going to go with one of the new pistols and probably call it good 😂
Omg, I had the m&p 2.0, then just got the m&p 2.0 with optics ready last weekend, now they release this update with the new trigger! I demand a free upgrade!
I've been asking for this exact full size ever since the optics ready compact came out. I can finally get exactly what I want as a dude with big hands! Best believe I'm going to be edc-ing that m&p9 2.0 optics ready full size with my HS 507c X2 and tlr-1 hl.
I have had great luck with Smith & Wesson products. I like to improve and update what I have whenever possible. I have traded in 2 Smith & Wesson are got a great trade in value both times.
@Smith & Wesson Inc., you need to compete with Apex and sell this new trigger to all of us who purchased M2.0 pistols recently with the hinged trigger. Don't lose out on the sales and tell us you won't sell the trigger. Be smart and start selling it soon ASAP. Thank you!
@@tommydub7785 No, this is a new trigger. I sent S&W an email and they said they are not selling the trigger. I replied back to them telling them to consider this. Fingers crossed.
I Love all my Smith’s starting from my original Shields in 9mm and 45 (Which is still one of my EDC’s), both of my original M2.O compact in 9mm and 40 (still great guns without the flat face triggers), my 22 Victory (my favorite 22 pistol) and my SD VE 9mm, for a budget gun it’s really good and don’t get me started on my AR-15 sport ll’s and my little AR-22, I just wish they wouldn’t put the 45’s on the back burner and make us wait before they give them their deserved upgrade.

@Smith and Wesson are you going to make a pro series version of this pistol for the 4” and 4.25”? I’m waiting for that. Don’t just be good, be invincible
Im so happy yall finally came out with a 10mm however yall kinda dropped the ball on it, with 4 inch and 4 1/2 inch you should have made atleast a 5 inch or maybe even a 6 for the handgun hunters.
Those two screws for the MP 10 mm optics cut slide were stripped from the factory. I had to take it to the gunsmith and he had to get them out for me. He said mine was the fourth one hes had to do.
Looks great!! Can’t wait to add them to the family. However when are we going to do something about that “glued” in notch spacer for the manual safeties? The firearms look good and I love them, but I don’t run with manual safeties, and they have that notch filled in them on the sides. Why? LoL, would be a lot nicer if would could change the process a little.
Bruh. I just bought the optics ready yesterday and now I'm seeing this?! I'm going to call them and see if they can send me the trigger I'm all hurt now lmao. Or get an apex, but that stock trigger though..
I have a feelin if S&W had submitted a 5” with all of the new features that are showcased on the new models in this video they would have probably taken the contract with the US Military.
OMG Smith&wesson is finally getting rid of the hinge trigger. Granted it's only on the optics ready version. However it's a step in the right direction. And it's only took them almost 20 years to realize that the hinge trigger sucks. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't buy a M&p. Now that the gun finally has a better trigger I'll have to look at the gun.
