Hi I am very new here at Mac air :) every time I turn on my Mac a lot of windows pop up, like the map , music, I message etc. how will I remove that? :)

- defaults write -g InitialKeyRepeat -int 10 - defaults write -g KeyRepeat -int 1 - defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false Makes typing much better, you have to restart computer to take effect. Also Tinkertool is a great customisation app.

Dark mode doesn't save battery life of your device unless your display was an OLED which literally turn the LED off when the pixel assignment was totally black, the ones that was on macbooks were Retina LED-backlit displays that basically still had always on backlight.

I recently bought an M1 macbook air and this happens to be my first ever macbook and i was using windows previously. This is by far the best video if you're new to MacOS. i especially loved the shortcuts section of the video which for me turned out to be game changing, i also appreciate that you put everything in chapters. Actually really like your videos man, good quality. I was using the autoplay feature, and came across this video, thinking you were a big youtuber that i somehow miss, i clicked the sub and like button. Good tips Terren 🙏thanks. The CMD 3 one in Finder was something I didn't know about, same with the Safari tab closing and then re-opening, 😄👍I am one of the folk that hate white text on a black background so I really dislike dark mode. I just can't do it.
