Madara Uchiha is a very fun character to play with! The more I try him out, the more useful tools I find in his kit. When he is mixed with the right assists you are able to conquer any team and outzone them with his great neutral. Having such a long reach really switches up the game for you and allows for more damaging combos in the process!

Madara has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu is a fire style that acts more as a defensive wall. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a knocked down state. This is a very good defensive tool, because it stays on the field for a pretty long time and it allows you to hide behind it. It is good to keep this in mind whenever you are stalling for time to recover your substitution bar.
His second jutsu allows him to summon his Susano’o and slam down on his opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a crumbling state and it is very easy to confirm a hit after this. This is a very good jutsu, because it has I-frames on start-up and it allows you to escape any dangerous situation. It is also the perfect combo extension tool, since you are able to clash or combat any assist calls during this jutsu. You still have to be careful when calling this jutsu out, because you will be in an unsafe position after this jutsu. Be sure to use this when you have defensive assists available or when your opponent has no substitutions left.
Overall, this Madara is amazing and his awakening is probably the best thing about him since it changes him into a completely different character. Definitely check him out if you haven’t already!
