Shoutout to ASUS Australia & Jasmin for sending me this unit for review before announcement! I've revisited this review over 7 times including re-editing and re-filming sections so I'm very happy to finally post it. I believe this to be the genuine Logitech G Pro X Superlight killer and give this the highest possible recommendation for medium to large-size claw grip users, especially for playing tactical shooters.

Regarding the larger front skate. Did you remember to remove the plastic film protection?

Oh my god you are actually right there is a film layer on it. I scratched the tip with a nail clipper and it came off after digging into the skate a little, but not when i used my nails directly. This changes everything.

If you're in Australia, mouse will be end of the month. I think it is is already listed up elsewhere for overseas people to pre-order or something, and China is already shipping. As for comparison against G305, they are entirely different and it's really hard to make a comparison in this case. G305 is a smaller mouse too after all...

Since it is Asus, I'd assume it will! With that being said I don't know if Amazon will instantly have stock upon release at end of Jan or if it will come later.

PLEASE DISREGARD EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT THE FRONT SKATE. SEE IMPORTANT UPDATE HERE : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fcHKRzWkTuw.html THERE WAS A PROTECTIVE FILM LAYER ON THE FRONT THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF UNTIL NOW (only came off after using a knife to scratch the layer and cut a little tear in it). I HAD BEEN USING THIS FOR OVER A WEEK WITH THE FILM LAYER ON. THE SKATES NOW FEEL LIKE COMPLETELY NORMAL STOCK SKATES AND VERY VIABLE (I will still replace with Corepadz when available though). THIS REMOVES ESSENTIALLY THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WITH IT AND CAN CONFIRM IT IS NUTS!

The higher the DPI the better the response time I remember watching a specific video on that since I wondered that question too “why have 25k,36k,etc dpi if we don’t use it?” It’s just that higher means better low latency response movement from where the optical sensor glides on your mousepad. Do correct me if I’m wrong.

Just pulled the trigger, I’ve been trying the Razor mice but I find them to be quite a cheap feel. Gona stick with ASUS.

@@its_yifang I love it, really light and comfortable, I don’t really use side buttons as they are quite awkward for me to use in FPS games. Other than that software is great and easy to use.

@Yifang I'm looking to palm grip (17cm x 8.5cm) and now they also have another £25 cashback if you leave a review until June 30th. So altogether £70~. It's so hard shopping for a mouse online without trying them physically..

@@dk206 This mouse is narrower than X2 in terms of grip width and rear width so... Then again with your hand size you should be on the X2 mini. Perhaps look into the Pulsar Xlite series for ergo palm grip, Atlantis mini is worth looking into, and if you want small ergo to palm grip then the Vancer Pollux too. I have reviewed all of these mice if you need to reference something. Gwolves HTS+ (4K optional) is also good, though I haven't reviewed this one yet.

The 36k dpi is more about the sensitivity than a flex, I guess.

It's actually moreso headroom (the more precise/higher DPI the sensor can go to, the more accurate lower DPI is). With that being said, there is marginal gains between the sensor from all these different brands regardless of 25k or 30k or 36k etc...

Feel free to not buy it. There was a global superlight shortage when it first released and cost 60% more than this so I'm sure this will do great. It's a very good mouse after all!
