Yes it’s definitely a very time consuming with little or no compensation! You have to do what best for you and your family! Yes it would be encouraging if some did utilize the super thanks 😂 because unless you have 10,000 views per video you probably won’t make anything! You could also encourage voluntary donations for those who enjoy your content so as to keep you providing these types of content! I know for me it takes quite a bit of time to edit the videos! The video in the shower is messy and very time consuming especially when you have little ones you are taking care of! I have moved to sharing a little of my styling outside the shower and like you mentioned enjoying some wash days with just me! Your cut looks beautiful and I am excited to see you ventured into trying new stylers!
Thank you so much for your videos, your content is so informative. I can't imagine how much work you put in besides a full time job so for me talking videos are fantastic. I was wondering if you have seen the video with Rosie Amelia were she talks about CIK cut to blown out straight cut, as it showed her split ends. I always wondered how when they cut dry curl by curl they don't miss some curls of witch in turn leave some split ends. It made me think of that video when you talked about tangly ends. Thank you again I know you are worth 100$ a month but being retired I am on a budget if I could I would😍
I appreciate your feedback and positive input regarding sit-down videos. I have seen Rosie's video. I don't think my tangled ends are from curly cuts. I was due for a cut, so I think the tangles were probably from that, in my opinion. I think both straight and curly cuts have their own specific place, and you just have to find the option that best fits your lifestyle.
I just used Papaya Slip as my base, but I was afraid to use it as one and done, so I topped it with Mop Top. It’s a great combo so far-feels and looks great on day one.
Your cut looks so good!👏 You did a great job on the set.🥰 I hope that doing fewer shampoo through style videos will help your ends to keep more fullness. I know for sure rushing through the detangling is a recipe for disaster. Do you think that using a brush so much during the process might be contributing to it as well? Our essential elements are different, but for me, once I detangle with conditioner I don't detangle again during the styling process. I don't know. Maybe with your essential elements, you have to detangle during styling. Just throwing out ideas, lol. Something else I do that you can try when your hair is longer. I place my ends on my palm and use my palm as a backboard so that I'm smoothing the brush through the ends but it's also grazing my palm. Once there are no tangles at the ends then I start to move up, and as soon as I feel a tangle I work it out with my fingers before going back in with the brush. It sounds more involved than it is when trying to explain it, it really takes very little time to detangle my hair. I can't think of any video topics, but if something comes to mind I'll let you know. As far as products to try, if I see something I'll put it in a future video. From what other creators have said Patreon is better than the YT channel memberships because YT takes more money from your profit. I don't know about that, maybe talk to one of the other creators about how they handle that. Personally, I might be able to join at the lower end, but I have recently closed memberships and subscriptions so that I have money for a business that I'm doing off of YT. So I can't make any promises.
I appreciate your detailed response. I think using the brush during styling can be considered over manipulation when done incorrectly. I have limited using my brush during styling. I am going to continue working on improving my styling. I understand your standpoint on membership. I appreciate your honesty and honestly don't think the timing is right based on the feedback I have received on IG and YT. Thank you again 💓
Just subscribed, because I do find myself watching a lot of of your videos, but I do not enroll in paid memberships if any type, hair, nails, or any. I watch out boredom a lot, but I do get something out of watching. Wishing you well.
Your hair is so gorgeous, I'm trying to master my natural curls. I have a "Iamblackgirlcurls" hair artist that I go to once every 3 months per her request. she taught me how to wash, condition, style and set my natural hair. And I am loving it!! I had no idea my hair could look so beautiful. I'm truly feeling myself. What I noticed is every time I'm holding a conversation with someone they always look at my hair. Sometimes people extend a compliment and sometimes they just stare. Me , I stare at it , I love it . I'm unique and wonderfully made. "God is good". I said that a few times in the mirror! I watch your videos and I'm learning even more. Thank you for helping me keep my hair looking fierce. I also notice People have never seen black girls hair like this before , they are shocked and astonished. " BUT DONT TOUCH MY HAIR!!" I don't know where people hands been. But I do get asked , my answer is Please wash your hands first if not , then NO you can not just put your fingers in my hair. It took me several hours to get this style, I'm a human being not a pet!! any Hoo!! thank you so much. keep the videos coming! you're a great help to me😇😇😇😇😇, God bless you!
