Nostalgic indeed😊. I had the OG. It was probably one of my first non drugstore makeup purchases and i was tempted to purchase but i passed because i already have similar shades. 🖤
Yes it brought back so many memories for me when I saw it, I had to repurchase it. I agree, I have some palettes with similar shades also, the nostalgia justified the purchase for me 😄
I too have been apart of the makeup community for a min and who knew it would have blown up like this. Urban Decay MAC Too Faced were “considered” luxury back in the day. I will definitely pick this one up because I want her in my collection.
I agree, who would have thought the makeup community would have turned into what we have today? So much history in the makeup community and its evolution to where we are now. I’m interested to see how much further we will be in the next couple of years.
Loved this video. I’m a 90s kid. I was a teen/young adult in the 2000s. I did not care about eyeshadow until my 30s after being bored with my one look lol. Your look with this palette is beautiful and love how transparent you are with your early looks. Eyeshadow takes lots of practice. This palette is a little too boring for me and missing some key shades but beautiful and nostalgic. I looove your hand tat ❤
Hi there! Sounds like my experience. Eyeshadows didn’t come into play for me until later on in my 30’s too. I was all one dimensional foundation and pencil brows, lol. I’ve heard many say this palette is pretty bland, trust me I understand. Thank you, tattoos are my jam outside of makeup. Thank you for viewing! 💕
I didn't have the OG naked palette because I was a broke college student back in 2011-2015; but I had the BH Cosmetics 120 palette! I wish there were more black makeup youtubers back then; also wish the foundation, concealer and powers were more diver and actually good; there was super light and super dark with little in between
Hi there! You brought up a good palette! BH Cosmetics palettes were definitely a good go to at that time also. I was such a fan of their products. I agree, I wish we had more mainstream Black Makeup RU-vidrs at that time too. The few OGs we had they held us down, I still look at my older content from that time period and how the shades of face products were poorly designed for us and think, we have come a long way!
