I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Omg...ND! FINALLY A TRUE COOL TONE PALETTE FOR COOL UNDERTONES. I think bc the majority of ppl have neutral/warm undertones brands constantly release warm pinks/oranges etc 1,000X over and it makes me look sickly. I'm over those same colors! This is a cool lovers dream. Finally. I will 100% be reviewing that. Can't wait! 🎉

Yessss. People with neutral but especially warm tones have no idea that these shades are a cool undertone lovers DREAM! I am so excited as there are hardly any TRUE COOL tones on the market. I can NOT wait. Might be a favorite palette ever. DEFINITELY for us! 🎉

The ND palette looks absolutely gorgeous, I would definitely purchase it. There's something about the color story that makes it special and unique. I can see a little bit of gray and shimmer on my eyelids and I would just feel mysterious, like an Edgar Allen Poe story lol. I can totally see it for Fall/Winter!!!! I recently subscribed to your channel & have been watching so many of your videos, you're amazing!!!

Buyer beware with the Patrick Ta palette: the entire top row runs completely orange. SUPER warm. It’s not neutral and was wildly unflattering (on me, at least.). I should have known because the Rose Dimension was also 50 shades of orange as well. Fool me once…

I don’t think you should pick up the ND, even if it’s just for review. It’s a type of palette that will just sit and collect dust for neutral soft glam wearers like us.

Influencers will all review this (and should) because they can write off the expense as a business expense and ND will get tons of views, so they make money off the video. Win-win for them. Agree with you that it will collect dust for the vast majority of regular consumers who buy it. I’m a perfect example of someone who will watch the video despite never intending to buy the palette 😂

Great advice re the Estée Lauder foundation as I am a nurse! That baby has got to last in the region of 13 hours with allowances for powder, setting spray etc. I'm actually digging the Haus Labs foundation with my Cherry Blossom powder and some Hourglass ambient light on top to bring back the glow; it works folks & I'm 38...no fine lines coming through or anything paired with my ND concealer

I do wish brands would just stop it with this foundation/pipettes malarkey. I've just finished up the L'Oréal serum foundation and while I actually liked the foundation, I'd never buy it again unless they change the pipette dispenser. Just give us a bloody pump, it's not really that hard is it🙄. Still reeling at £140 for a Chanel lipstick..... just mental.

I also love that foundation! it just looks gorgeous on my very dry skin and I apply it with my hands but I hate the dispenser. But it looks soooo nice that I am willing to make that “sacrifice”😂 I may try putting a pump on top instead of the stupid pipette, as I see now comments about it…let’s investigate!😅

I would never spend that on a lipstick. I used to think CT lipsticks were worth it. Then I tried glamlite lipsticks. I think they are even better, and they’re cheap. I’ll spend more on things that I don’t think are as good at lower prices (blush, eyeshadow, complexion) but never lipstick or eye/lip liner.

I am most likely passing on the ND pallet. It's just so gray and I love cool gray but this is downright artic🥶 I believe those beautiful silvers would look best with some warmth or neutrals because you need the contrast IMO

I'm definitely interested in the ND palette. On my skin tone, grey shades tend to turn into muted bluish shades and I love muted blues and have been waiting for a palette like that. In a more saturated release photo it looks like there are some beautiful trio or duochrome shades, plus some taupes .. so I'm in love. I passed on the ND I need a nude because it looks like most looks on people with similar skin tone are all the same. I can get the "i need a nude" look from other palettes.

Oh it definitely depends though because I have seen blacks and greys be fully black, warm toned and cool toned like you said blue, or purple ish. You can barely tell unless it's swatched on someone fair/pale. I have pale skin with muted cool leaning olive undertones. 15 years ago I would have been ALL over this palette. I used to only ever wear black eyeshadow with a highlight or silvery shade. 😘

I like the second image you showed of the ND palette. If it's more varied like this, I would be interested. As I have very cool-toned skin, so many shadows become warmer once I put them on my eyes. This one might not end up looking quite so cool once it's on the skin. I would love to see you review this! Love all your reviews.

Charlotte, Morgan Turner has just done a review of the Huda loose powder V the new pressed one if you are interested? The pressed one is definitely not matte!! It is does have brightening qualities which are v visible in her review ... just thought I would add that xxx

I have the Estée Lauder serum foundation…. I am mid 50s, normal skin. You are actually wrong this time! It is buildable to medium coverage, has a nice glow, no offending fragrance and it does in fact last at least 8 hours (including a nap)! I’ve worn it 5 times now and it’s been consistent. The pipette picks up enough product that you don’t need to go in for more. The neutral shade is actually neutral. In short…. I think you’d like it. One more thing, my husband says that he likes it on me because my skin looks “smooth and pretty but not like make up”!

I was just about to say all the same things! I live in South Florida and it lasts in this awful heat. I’m in love with this stuff. It dries down nice, very smoothing, doesn’t settle, shades are spot on. It’s perfection for my 58 year old skin 😊

I am not sure if I want the midi xenon but I can’t wait to watch reviews and I will say I think if Natasha’s marketing team is smart, they will release this in October before Halloween I cannot imagine after this leak(intentional or not) waiting until New Year’s😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I never understand foundations and concealers with skincare in them when you’re putting them on over SPF. 😂 Natasha always gets me, dadgum it. I’ll wait for a review but she’s probably got me with it. We’ll see! I’m so so interested in the Rose Inc foundation but I’m still digging my Lisa Eldridge foundation and I don’t want to overbuy. I hate "skincare" in makeup. I have skincare and I don't want it mixed with extras from makeup. I don't want anything to clash or to over-do anything and get sensitivities.

I'm almost certain you're not going to like the Lancome concealer so good on passing on it. It does have some radiance to it but if you have to powder down it goes away. Another thing people seem to not understand is. When a concealer has the word serum in it there's a great chance that it's NOT going to give you much in the way of coverage. That's the case with theirs. If you're not someone who needs/wants full coverage (like me) then you may be happy with it. I'm currently using the Neutrogena Radiant serum concealer. Yes, it's drugstore but it does what I need it to. Why would I pay 3x more for theirs 🤷‍♀️

Charlotte I think you’ll love Smoking Hot by Kilian! I’ve already purchased a full bottle and its perfect for Autumn/winter. I’m a big fan of Angels Share and this is just as beautiful….a little less sweet. Don’t worry about the ‘smoke’ as it is smoke from the Apple Hookah! Which is what people enjoy smoking socially in groups! It’s a very soft, apple/cinnamon aroma surrounded by a Gourmand base! Just perfect 🤩! Xoxo 😘 Deborah

I have the new Estée Lauder foundation. I have combo leaning oily skin and prefer light coverage. The coverage is very sheer and very glowy. I use powder (i just always use powder) and I will say this wears exceptionally well on a long day over my sunscreen in the current weather which is cool and dry. It gives me a gorgeous look over just skincare for a date night, especially with a matte lip. Just be warned-very sheer.

As a heads up from Nikki La Rose channel who is a makeup artist she too didn’t like the foundation but was very impressed with the concealer and actually felt it made her eye look better as it includes caffeine

I understand that you may think that brands would lie about wear time for foundations but from personal experience some do indeed hold up! I was a long haul flight attendant and wore foundation on all my flights. Even slept in it in the bunks. I felt like showing the world sometimes how great my foundation held up on long flights!😂 Im talking 15hr flight- so thats nearing 20hrs in makeup. I think reason was mainly my skin in particular and preping it properly and setting with powder. I never broke out from wearing foundation for so long. My natural oils came through and i liked the look of glowlyness. Of course I cant speak for every flight attendant. But in the airline I was with I had to wear makeup. My favourite foundation to wear was the CYO Lifeproof foundation which is sadly discontinued. I no longer wear my makeup for so long as no longer flying but there was a time I was and the foundations did hold up, even longer than the 16hr claims. Some people are working in long shift industries who do need the makeup to last 😅

I have the Mini black and silver’s of Natasha’s and I’ve never used it… However, the ColourPop UP in Smoke …is nine shadows in gray, black, silvers and white … the shades are spot on to Natasha’s mini, so don’t waste your money on either, pick up the ColourPop… it’s a beautiful little pallet for New Year’s Eve or for those really smoky, sultry eyes.. if you like those looks get the ColourPop , Trust me it’s better than Natasha’s mini.

I picked up the Haus Labs concealer last weekend and it was love at first application 😍. I hope you love it too:) And I did pick up the Patrick Ta palette because…..I don’t have anything like it in my collection and I’ve never tried his shadows before. I’m so happy I picked it up because I’m really loving it:) The most I’ve ever paid for a lipstick was when Lisa Eldridge first released her lipsticks. I’ve been a HUGE fan of hers FOREVER and to me it was worth every penny. I believe it ended up costing me $120 CDN for 2 lipsticks ($60/ea) that was because of shipping, taxes and duties etc. over the years I’ve ordered her foundation, highlighters, more lipsticks and gloss but that first lipstick purchase always stuck with me. For a millisecond I thought “ are you crazy????!!!” followed very quickly by a “nope- it’s important to me” lol 😅 BTW…..I’m LOVING your lippy today! Xo 🇨🇦

Yes, that Lancôme glow foundation has no glow, very matte, I’m having to add an oil or a glow serum to it just to be able to use it, bad bad Lancôme. It’s a pass for me on the ND pallet, grey’s/blacks do not work on me but I’m pretty sure it will sell really well.🥰

Yeah, I don't where any black eye shadow. Not even close , have plenty. I do occasionally where eye shadows different colors ..not all the ones I see .

I was in Sephora yesterday and tested the Haus Lab concealer (several shades) on my hand. It's straight up full coverage with no glow whatsoever. I also found it to be thick, not thin at all like the foundation. So its a pass for me because full coverage with my dry creasy wrinkled under eyes is just not a good look for me as 62 yo woman. Oh, and the cool tones shades are very few in the range and I need a cool toned shade. As for the ND Xenon midi palette, I will also wait for reviews before (if) I pick it up. I have the Xenon mini and while I like it, it's not an every day color story for me. I think I've only used it once at home to play with to see if I can get a wearable look with it. I found it to be a bit too dramatic for me to wear outside the house. LOL!!

I am very picky, this year what i buy from makeup. A lot of things i passed when it was released, and bought just now, like Chanel skin enhancers. Same way i am revisiting New Chanel lipsticks, and i might going to purchase. I love Chanel brand, i dont buy everything, i definitely do not collect Chanel or any other brand makeup🤪 i am looking to enjoy, and a few colors i do love, first beige one. I dont have too many nude lipsticks. And also 2.55 is very historic, its like my favorite Chanel 2.55 handbag inside leather. Plus i never buy so cool colors, so it would be something different , for my collection. Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I love cinnamon in perfumes since I tried Juliette has a gun calamity Jane (sadly discontinued). ND gave us a grey Halloween palette? Not for me, but interesting choice imo. Never bought the mini Xenon. Today I got finally Yucca + Mini Starlette on a discount and I'm very happy with my purchase. First palettes this year😊

I love a grey eyeshadow, but as I didn't even buy the ND mini Xenon, I'd get little use from the midi palette. Apart from the pink, it looks pretty much the same in a black and white photo as it does in colour. The new YSL concealer looks interesting though.

I did buy the Patrick Ta palette (not for me) for my daughter-in-law as part of her birthday gift. She’s in awe of it but says she scared to use it because it’s too beautiful 😂. I’ll have to teach her the ways. I can’t wait to see her with it on as I think it will be stunning on her skin tone.

I was watching another video when this popped up and I had to instantly watch!! 😂 I take 2 days off IG & 45 new things are released & I don't know a thing about it?! 🙄 I love this new ND palette just because of my coloring (super light cool-toned with cool-toned blonde hair & blue eyes) it's not whether I like cool-tones, it's just what looks best with a careful light hand. Kind of like Marc Jacobs' Steeletto (favorite). But that's not to say i don't have 4 other palettes exactly the same (like JS Cremated & Weirdo, Kaleidos quads, Sydney Grace individuals, etc). But it's ND & even though I know she will have misrepresented some shades, I still want it (or rather want to try it) the 5 pan is still waiting in my favorites...🥴 I'm super excited about the new Althaïr fragrance!! Love warm spicy, Autumn is my favorite season of fragrance. BUT I'm really annoyed I can't smell it just ONCE before I trade them $250 for a bottle?! It's not in a discovery set, nor is it available as a sample with purchase or a travel size and that frustrates me. What are they thinking? Because they're not the only fragrance house that does this and I don't know if I'm asking too much.🫤 Now Kilian's Smoking Hot I ordered before I finished this comment because there's a travel size ($54 worth a try)!! I'll let you know how much the smoke plays a part. I love Replica Autumn Vibes, but don't like Fireplace because of the heavy smoke. But I do like both layered, I'm wondering if it's similar... Update... I got Killian's Smoking Hot... for me there's 2 notes I smell; smoke (burnt) mixed with Orcanox. I detect no apple or cinnamon. After dry down I did smell a tiny bit of moss & tobacco BUT it goes away and the prominent smoke scent never dissipates. There's no vanilla. Nothing like Angel Shares or Apple Brandy imo. I'd say it's a copy of Replica Fireplace (with the strange Orcanox). I tried to layer it with my beloved Replica Autumn Vibes (favorite autumn scent but it doesn't last) but the smoke overpowered it. I often layer Autumn Vibes with Fireplace in December, so I know it's possible but not with this one. I don't feel anything clever or unique from Smoking Hot, it's a smoke (burnt) fragrance from start to finish. If you like Fireplace, you might like this as well. That's my take, hope it helps 🤍

I need a ND midi Gold to go with my mini and my midi Yucca. I have already bought 4 midis and 5 minis. I really don't need another. I would get Glam over this and I skipped it for Retro Glam. I have CP Stone Cold Fox and don't use it much. I like pops of more colors.

I think I’m going to pick up the Colour Pop black and white palette if I venture into that territory. But I’ve also got loads of gorgeous singles that I can compose a shadow palette with. You are helping me resist and reflect on my priorities. I am also noticing less highlighter, blush and bronzers on the runway and editorial looks. Eyes, lips and skin seem to be the focus so, I’m going to shop my stash.

I like Haus Labs better than REM, Rare Beauty esp the blushes. No to ND Xenon and I don’t need a Nude. Miss the old colorful palettes. I got ABH Fall Romance and like it. I love the Lancôme Teint Idole concealer. I have oily skin and it stays flawless all day

The P Ta palette is absolutely my new fave. Completely “unnecessary” yes but performance and undertones are ON POINT and I find it’s the perfect matte pairing to go with my multichromes ❤ I’m fair so the I love having that white shade for a matte inner corner highlight 😊

Have you tried or got the diptyque volutes it’s just the right amount of leather Smokeyness and vanilla if you need a third on your list after de marly I would try that. If you order from diptyques website they send you a sample of what you order so you can try it with out opening the big bottle and they accept returns

I wonder if wear time is different depending on a persons skin? I only wear makeup a few times a week and mostly when I go out to sing but I usually forget to wash my face after a bar night and even after being in bed it looks basically the same as when I put it on. I use setting spray maybe that's it. I use Lancome and Urban Decay mostly.

I love smokey eyes from my punk teen days so that new Natasha Denona palette will probably be a buy for me, as it's my fave palette brand. She's releasing so many palettes these days, same with ABH who is apparently releasing small 9 pans of the modern renaissance and the sultry palettes. I already have the big modern renaissance, but the small sultry one looks like a really nice small natural colour palette

I normally jump on ND midi palette releases however with this one since i already have the midi glam and the my dream palettes i think I currently feel like i will likely pass on the midi xenon for now unless the release photos and review photos/videos show more variety from what the sneak peak images look like, now the haus labs concealer i will definitely consider picking that up because the foundation is my current holy grail but i do prefer a full coverage pigment concealer so as long as this concealer can build without getting cakey i will definitely try it, the first perfume sounds divine for fall for me, i will definitely go see the ABH highlighter in store at sephora and could definitely possibly pick it up and i think you are right at least for me the foundation can definitely easily get to full coverage, if the killians fragrance didn't have the actual smoke note I’d be all over it😀

Thank you again, as always. There's a couple of things that have caught my eye but will wait for review - the ND palette, the Nars blush palette. The Nars especially as I want to see how similar it is to the half a dozen I already have. I'm a sucker for face powder but I understand from another review I saw that there's a lot less product in that Huda pressed powder than you get in the loose version, and it's a similar if not the same price. Something like 8.5g instead of 20g🤨I'll give that a miss, then.

When I was in the states I picked up a Haus Labs foundation and I love it wear it every time I use foundation and it looks amazing. I have heard of PDM the new one it sounds so yummy i should try it i may be surprised. I love SDV from Guerlain i dont want to blind buy it though.

I’ve purchased two ND midi palettes in the last year and find both seem versatile but really create only three eye looks. Ditto for xenon. When I see Patti or Alicia struggling to create five different looks, it’s a no for me. Oh Charlotte are you trying the huda ouds, they are the intense formula that could last on you! Rose inc cream bronzer is really good-they have different undertones to other cream bronzers

Am I the only one who doesn't understand, or has never bought, Patrick Ta, Merrit, Make-up by Mario or REM? Sometimes I feel like I am missing out, but then why go to the bother of ordering something online that you cannot even sample/try here (in Ireland) UNLESS you know it is worth it .. and for me that is Haus Labs (although had to take a MAJOR punt on the online shade match) and the ever-wonderful, ever-amazing and the true GOAT (Pat McGrath move over) ... Lisa Eldridge. LE have truly perfect products .. and as she describes them ... is always on-time AND most importantly ... fantastic customer service for the very rare occasion something goes wrong or even better, for advice!!! I wanna scream when I see new launches that aren't available in the EU or when the shipping is twice the price of the product (I am sure we all know who they are!!). Something about that second ND palette pic made me think (hope?) it’s actually got some multichrome shades (like iridescent shades with little bass pigment) if so, I’ll buy. If it’s just grey scale it’s a pass for me. I’m not going back to the early 2000s grey eyeshadow 😅
