The experience you had with this makeup today is what I feel like everyday. Foundation breaks up, settles, mascara moves---I can't wait to wash my face. I'm struggling to find products that work for me at 50 and will endure the Florida heat and humidity. I love the Armani shadows - they are really great for a "one and done" if you just want to pop something on the eyes - and they last all day on my lids without any primer. As the humidity ramps up for us in the south, I will probably use a primer just in case. Really appreciate your reviews - bought the mint eyeliner you recommended in a previous video and love it - thank you! I also appreciate your honesty and not saying you "love" everything or are "obsessed" with everything. You are truly one of the best out there reviewing makeup and skincare products! I appreciate your reviews. I am older than you, and your reviews on whether the foundation is luminous help me decide if I want to try it. 58 here and the Tatcha primer kept my makeup on through my son’s wedding and reception ( all 8 hours) and I got compliments all day. Of course the Armani foundation was over it which is WAY better than the Saie. Angie you should try the Tatcha lip mask. It is far better than Laneige.

My hip used to hurt when I woke up, and I would walk with a limp for about an hour in the mornings, but since I have started taking the Move Free, I haven't had that hip pain. Right now, for my multivitamin, I just take Centrum. If you find another multivitamin that works better, let me know, please.

Hello Angie. Well, I think I have found a comparable foundation to the Chanel one that we both loved and was discontinued--it even comes in the same little plastic squeeze bottle. It's by Kiko and it's called Lost In Amalfi Lightweight Velvet Foundation. It is beautiful! Cheers.

Maybe the Tatcha liquid primer depends on your skin type. I have normal skin that can be over-stimulated and become oily, and I've had great luck with the liquid primer. Wearing it under my Nars tinted moisturizer has really helped cover some light sun damage on the sides of my face. Oh, and I totally agree about the Armani liquid eye shadows! Cold Copper is my everyday go-to.

Hi Angie. I also wound up getting two different Saie Foundation colors. 5 is a bit too light, 7 was a bit too peachy. I wind up mixing them together. I love the product, but I find that it does oxidize, which gives me a color that matches. It's great for dry skin. Not sure if you'll be a fan. It does dry down. The Armani liquid shadow looks so pretty on you. I've seen Lisa use it as well. The Rare Beauty mascara is my favorite. I've purchased it 3 times already. I'm sorry that the Saie Serum Foundation didn't work for you. I don't even powder mine, and I never get transfer. I guess my skin is the Sahara! Thanks for the review. Sorry again! I have normal to dry skin and the Saie foundation worked for me alone but was fabulous for mixing with more matte foundations that I find too drying. This foundation is good for normal to dry skin. Foundation is so finicky depending on skin type. I will say that I had the same experience with the Anastasia Lash Brag - epic raccoon eyes!

I watched a video that has you add powder lightly over your moisturizer/sunscreen. Then put setting spray on. After setting spray has dried, add primer…once dried, put on makeup. Lasts all day…all day! What do you think of this process? Love your videos…I never miss!

The Armani eye shadows are my favorite. I do use primer under because I have extra oily eyelids, but they do not budge at all. The Rare Beauty mascara is also one of my favorites - one of the only that doesn't smudge on me. Saie overall hasn't worked for me other than the glow highlighter. Thx for the review!

I was at my daughter’s Ulta (in the town where she lives)and they had the holy grail Chanel foundation. It looked really nice. I did have to add a little blush to warm up my cheeks but the finish on the foundation was beautiful. It didn’t budge all afternoon and my skin peelies didn’t pop up. I don’t wear makeup often but am probably going to buy some for when I do. I stopped wearing makeup when the pandemic hit (have worn it literally less than five time in three years) and I’m trying to get back into because I actually like how I feel with a little bit of something. The Chanel le tent is a good start!

I had the Laura Mercier new foundation and the Saie one, so now I think I’ll just try the slip tint and see how the LM one is. Do you like the Saie tint as much as the Tarte (which I still love)? I like the skin tint and I also have to powder it to take down the shine. I have ordered this,foundation because all of a sudden I am having some dry patches that don’t look good by the end of the day, so I hope it will work for me. I must say I think the colors to choose from are interesting because of how different it looked once applied. When I saw the word glory I wondered how glowy and would you like it. Thing thing is, Angie... after all your hard work to reverse sun damage, minimize wrinkles/spots, etc... you look better without make up (base/foundation). :) The goal for me is to NOT have to wear make up. 😭 I hate the feel of foundation on my skin... I wish I could get away with wearing none... and you have most definitely reached that peak where you really don't need it. :) And Angie - please please please - please review Younique's 2 mascaras: Moodstruck Epic Twisted (lengthens - and has this incredible 2nd micro wand built into the main wand - so I use this for my corner lashes and lower lashes ONLY) + Moodstruck Epic 4D (this one thickens lashes beautifully). I do order both ($$$ ouch), but they last twice as long since I only use one for some lashes, and the 4d for my upper lashes only. It's the only cosmetic I splurge on. Also, I don't like any of their other products (have tried them)... although their liquid/cream shadows weren't bad - just too frosty for me. Their mascara is definitely the best one I've ever used.

For mascaras I’ve found I really love a tubing but the only one I like is called Eclipse by Lune and Aster. I didn’t care for the Cali Ray. Rare Beauty flaked all over for me also. Thanks for being so comprehensive and authentic in everything you share! 🫶🪷

I was interested in how the new Saie foundation would wear as I love the Slip Tint (which I bought on your recommendation). I'm not impressed with the new foundation as the reviews I've watched were tested on people with dry skin and it looked great on them but I'm an oily/combo skin type. That bronzer looks amazing! I also didn't enjoy the Tatcha Liquid Silk primer but I'm glad I got the mini size to try it rather than the full size. If I were you, I'd return the full size! Thanks for the video!!!

I think the depth of tone (foundation) is light but not super light (close to your chest) - but the undertone is wrong. It comes off green-grey on my screen anyway. It’s too bad it doesn’t work for you. I love the Slip Tint, too, so this is in my cart for the sale. I have super dry skin, so maybe…??? Maybe I should just stick with the tint (I just want something similar with a bit more coverage for the days I feel I need it). Thanks for your reviews. Always super thorough and helpful 👍😊❤️

Did you mean on top of your sunscreen? 🤔 I've never had any of the 40 or so foundations I've tried pill over my sunscreen. I wonder if it's either the sunscreen you're using or maybe waiting longer for the sunscreen to dry would help. I live in a humid climate so I wait 25 minutes to dry before applying a primer or foundation. Maybe try that! Good luck in your journey!

For me, I don’t put any traditional concealer or powder under my eyes. To hide the discoloration I only use demi and it’s like magic🎉 it lasts until I take my makeup off at night. Wish i new about it years ago

Hi Angie! I am 48 and you are my goals!! Question for you! I am combo skin very fair similar to you. I was enjoying luxe makeup both Chanel N1 or Dior Capture Totale. I think I wanted then to work because the experience of using them is awesome! Packaging, smell, texture, finish! But….my pores and some uneven texture has come back…I wet back to my age old Olay Vit C and Retinol and wow 🤩 they really work! Would love your opinion on Capture Totale Serum and Chanel N1 serum and why do you think Olay is doing it for me!!! HUGE thanks in advance!

So you ended up liking the lips and Armani eye shadows! Thank God you try the makeup so we don't have to! Did you have a Pomeranian in the house? Love them... First no matter how bad the makeup you ALWAYS look good :)... I was aghast at the creasing of foundation, and mascara smudging of both kinds. I did like the lips though! As always, thank you Angie! I LOVE that lip color on you! Now I really want it. I gotta say…your base makeup looks a lot different, and a lot better, on the side you *DIDNT* put on the Tatcha primer. Everything looks really airbrushed and even, but on the Tatcha side it looks patchy and shiny. But I do love the look. I really like that eyeshadow palette too!

Hi Angie. I am a big fan of the Saie Slip Tint and I also had very disappointing results with this foundation on my dry, mature skin. I tried it with a few different primers and nothing worked. Getting a good color match was impossible.

Love the simple eye look. Looking into getting the Armani cream eyeshadows. Still looking for a great foundation. I've wasted so much money on foundations this past year. Maybe it's because I've had so many problems with dry, flaky skin. Still trying so hard to use retin A. Even tried Moonlight and had an issue with that. I only use now once or twice a week mixed with Cereve cream. As always thanks for the review!

What strength retin-A are you using?Have you tried getting your tretinoin through curology? They can start you out on .01 tretinoin. Most doctors only prescribe .05 or .1 from my previous experience, and I can’t tolerate those strengths either. Even after years of trying to work up to it, I’ve been able to get up to .025 max.

@Embeth 44 I use .003% from The Agency. I was using .005% but they lower it. Now they discontinued .O03%. I just discontinued my subscription because I've been trying different formulas for 2 years and I was just wasting money. I went to maelove moonlight and I can't use that every night either. So I mix what I have left with Cereve cream a couple of times a week. I make sure I exfoliate once a week to rid of the flakes.

Sorry to hear you're struggling with retinoids Christine. There are some who's skin just won't tolerate it at all. Do you use glycolic acid? That might be a better fit for your skin.

Angie, wanted to let you know the link to the matte charcoal pencil has an error, comes up as product not found. I was able to find it by searching, but then I don’t think you’d get a credit for the referral! 😉 I’ve recently switched to more creamy eye shadows as my oily skin dries out with age, and nice to see your test of the pricier versions!
