Hii Clare, the reason why there's cottage core outfits ,is because in the live stream they said they wanted to go two ways , light academia werewolves and more edgy werewolves.
i agree that the beast forms are...unsettling. i wish they were scarier! or at least less human. i hope modders can save the day and come up with some kind of cooler-looking wolf form. and i am SO excited to see more of Rain! I love him a lot
I really hope modders can save it too haha! Maybe make the wolves look more like they did in previous sims games….. I absolutely love the idea of werewolves and have always preferred werewolves to other occults, so I’m really bummed that the wolves kinda give off CATS 2019 vibes (as someone else said lol!) I’m gonna wait for cc to come out before investing in it haha
@@maddief1670 Ooh, well I was just guessing because I've had a similar issue trying to take something off a mermaid. Then the original suggestion might be better. That sucks, cuz she'll have to remake the sim, or remove eyelashes from the game and re add them 🤷♀️

I really want them to look more wolfish... like, for real... full-on shapeshifting... I just don't know if I can vibe with this pack so I'm looking forward to your Let's Play... and for the love of God, there better be some alpha CC coming for the wolf appearance!
Luna is really cute and I think she will easly catch Rain eye. As for wolf form itself... Yeah, it's a bit too cute and cuddly for my taste. I was too hoping for more of Skyrin or Underworld kind of warewolfs. As for eyelashes did you try linking the forms again, changing the eyelashes so the system realise this part is linked too, then removing eyelashes from sim form, unlinking forms, and then adding eyelashes on sim form only? This steps worked when I messed up with CC on vampires.
I totally agree with you on the whole look of the werewolves- they really remind me of the 2019 Cats movie, they look like humans trying to look like animals. I would've definitely preferred very scary looking werewolves but it makes sense considering a lot of younger people play they game who might not want creepy wolves. Overall I feel like the CAS items/werewolves themselves had a lot of potential but didn't fully reach it. :/
i think not even just more creepy but just slightly more realistic. like clare mentioned the paw/foot/leg shape, they could’ve had tails, or just other dramatized shapes instead of just human with fur
wow I've literally never seen them in cas before! it's.... exciting? possibly? I would love to see rain and a new character in a werewolf series, and I think it would be so cool if she matched his heartbreaker energy, and I think that this sim is gorgeous, so possibly she could join in as well I adore your pack let's plays, I'm excited to see this one!
or maybe she could be polyamorous and they would agreed on an open relationship so they could stay together. I just sometimes like happy romanting endings. And him joining her could also make him more responsible (because Rain for example seems to really like children, as you can tell by how he is treating his adopted sister. This would be in line with the werwolf sim being family orientated).
@@sundee3385 yeah, that’s not how it works, Clare plays more realistic gameplay, and not to say that isn’t realistic, but cheating on your partner is a big nono, and a poly relationship isn’t always the solution. And yeah I know he likes kids, but that doesn’t mean anything, he doesn’t seem like the type to have kids because he’s always breaking people’s hearts. But I do like the idea of him accidentally getting them pregnant and him cheating on them so they break up and this raises their werewolf baby.
just a heads up for anybody who plays with alpha hair/skintones, a lot of people found that the new update completely BROKE a lot of cc (both alpha and mm). if you're not planning to play with werewolf in the near future i would suggest to not update the game for now :)
I feel you Clare. I also dig the Skyrim werewolf’s because these actually look like how I’d would vision werewolves in the first place. However, it’s good to see that they listen to people asking for werewolves. It’s a good thing ❤️
Skyrim and the sims are totally different though, not only from gameplay but also the way it looks. The skyrim wolf wouldn’t really fit in the game aesthetics, i understand that it’s not everyone cup of tea but i do think it fits well with the sims 4.
Hi Clare! I think to get rid of the eyelashes you have to link them again, remove the eyelashes from her human form, unlink them again and then add them back on to her human form
Yeah that’s what the sims team said on the livestream. You have to do the first aspiration and then there’s like a pop up that comes up when you’ve completed it and you can pick from a few

This sim looks so bad@$$!!! If you do the werewolf series, maybe you can use this sim as a love interest for Rain, or maybe this sim and Rain start dating and he cheats on them, and out of spite they turn him into a werewolf.
There’s cottage core outfits because you can either go two ways: soft werewolves, or full on edgy, twilight adjacent werewolves. Luna will DEFINITELY catch Rain’s eye, but her wolf form is WAY too cute. Werewolves in full transformation are supposed to be scary. And Clare, link the forms in order to get rid of the eyelashes glitch.
I don’t care much for occults, if there was never a werewolf pack I wouldn’t be affected but I have to say I’m even appalled by the look of these. They’re not wolves, *they’re CATS*
im gonna be harshly honest, I absolutely hate how they did the werewolves... they look like furries and maybe you like that, but I absolutely despise the way they look... from me this is not a werewolf, this is a furry... the image Clare showed on her video form Skyrim is what a werewolf should look like... i don't like that they went for a humanoid figure for them. I wanted werewolves to complement my witches and vampires but this is not it...

Maybe to get rid of the eyelashes you should link them again, change the eyelashes on the original sim and then take them off. All this while they are linked, after you will unlink them and then they will disappear?
@@jeng6786 it’s only for werewolves so a human can’t be a mate with a werewolf unfortunately and you can only ever have one I forgot which one but one of the sims gurus confirmed it
I wouldn't call these werewolf furies, because they're not. The furry community is all animals and it's not all about woohoo. Clare use sims 4 studio so you can batch fix your files, also you can go into and turn off cc for all random use and specifically pick folders you want to be randomized for sims for certain clothes and items. Also if you use the new sims 4 mod manager you can turn off cc turn off certain mods and you don't need to take your stuff outta the game. I've got 100gigs of cc and i organize and update my mods i go thru every single piece off cc i download to make sure it works and i got everything this make cc use and modding easier. I enjoy organizing my mod more then playing the game sometimes lol
I think they’re not being called furries bc of anything to do with woohoo, it’s just that the sims 4 werewolves have the same cartoony character look that a lot of furry art does
i'd would like to see Rain as a werewolf who falls in love with a vampire, but the vampire despises them ( werewolf), and then makes a pledge to help others discover the cure.

Luna honestly gives such big sister vibes I can just imagine her having a this little brother who is super shy and nerdy and she tries her best to protect him and the whole pack by herself
From what I’ve seen from other people the only way that they’ve been able to remove the eyelashes is basically to separate the wolf form before you put any skin details on or they get stuck

Who else thinks Clare should make Sims based on the young marauders for CAS Monday? It'd be a good way to incorporate the new pack since Remus is a werewolf.

I also love them and love how they look. Even the "human feet" they are just like that in a lot of werewolf interpretations but I feel people who don't like a lot of supernatural movies only know Underworld werewolves (and Twilight's that aren't werewolves)

I'm already obsessed with this pack, both B&B and CAS are amazing and the gameplay so far seems to be freaking amazing too. The Gurus really redeemed themselves after MWS :D I actually really like the wolf forms, you can make them as scary as you want (or not). Also aspirations and new traits are unlocked in gameplay, which I really really like.
First person I see with the new expansion pack. After getting back into Sims after my phase in the 2000s. And I agree with you on this is leaning way into the furry aspect. I prefer the werewolf look from the Underworld series cause the Lycan’s are more hulking & beastly in a way. These look like they’d be to timid into tearing into an animal for their meal.
I think you should bring her into Not So Berry, Rain is all villainess valentine and runs into this girl. he actually is head over heels for this one. She ends up biting him and he becomes a werewolf also and she shows him the pack and their hangout areas, etc.
If Cottage Living is "Get British", as Clare says, the Werewolf pack is "Get Furry". I'm down for a werewolf gameplay, I love the idea, but their forms is a little too... uncanny valley to me. It's too Cats 2019. The head size to body proportion when they turn into wolves is sooooo strange, it looks too small. The fur looks weird, specially on the body, it looks like a fully naked person with body paint, or with a full body suit with fur print. Also it leans a little more on the Twilight werewolf of the spectrum, and I personally don't like that. I like it when it looks like a human with a few wolf like features, like getting more hair, the teeth and claws. And not a bipedal wolf with human body proportions.

Hi, Clare! I love your videos and have been watching for a while! Keep it up! Also, I think the reason the eyelashes were stuck on the wolf form was because the sim's eyelashes were not in the glasses section, but the skin details section. You switched it earlier in the video because it was clipping with the rings, I think. Since the werewolf form does not have the option to change or look at skin details there, it showed without you being able to change it. The freckles showed, which I'm pretty sure were skin details, so they seem to show skin details. Maybe try switching the eyelashes back to glasses or from the tattoo section, since sometimes cc eyelashes appear in tattoos. Hope this helped!
Also everyone, don't be disappointed just yet, the werewolves could look a little different, but remember there are modders out there who probably can fix it, you just have to wait
looking at the different werewolves that are achievable just by painting them in CAS, you can get pretty scary looking results without mods. Especially you can do well on the face.

Luna's human form is absolutely gorgeous and badass! Not sure about the werewolf one tho, they do look more like furries to me but hopefully it will grow on me in the future :') Also, excited for the let's play! The sims team said that once you complete the new werewolf aspiration (which is more like a tutorial to the pack) you will unlock 4 new werewolf aspirations! Each of them following a storyline or smt like that, I'm curious to know which one you will pick XD

Here's the vibe i got for the let's play.. Luna falls for Rain & introduces him to the werewolf life. Once he sees the dangerous side he becomes protective over Luna. This counteracts his desire to break everyones hearts so he remains close but doesn't allow himself to get involved with her because he wants to protect her, even from himself.
They really sorta failed with the Werewolves in my opinion. I was expecting less furry and more wolf than anything else. Like a big version of a wolf, instead of this. Hopefully the Modders can improve it significantly.
HEY! Don't disrespect furrys like that! Jokes aside, even most fur suits have the animal legs. To keep the eyelashes from glitching you can create your Sim and leave the eyelashes for last. Just before you put on the eyelashes unlink your Sim and their wolf so the eyelashes won't be added to the wolf.
Yeah that’s throwing me off. The Sim herself is cute. But I can’t get behind the wolf form. And if you’re using the SIM that I think you’re gonna be using. That should be interesting because of how bulky he is. I really do hope you’re using him. I want to see him find his fated mate. So that he can see that love does exist. (have no clue why I’m so invested in that one character. Lol)
I wish that the vampires had to find a spellcaster and ask them to make them daylight rings. I 100% understand what you mean with the high waisted pants, it just looks super uncomfortable. Also I wish the wolves looked more like dogs.
